Trusted e-signature solution — what our customers are saying
How to create outlook signature
yes we can collect emails on LinkedIn for free without having to invest thousands of dollars in linkedin's lead gen ads or in third-party tools of scrape emails which by the way goes against linkedin's terms of service and can land you in LinkedIn jail so don't do that so let me show you how to create a totally free and totally legit lead gen form on the LinkedIn company page or showcase page and if we want this Legion form to actually work for us which I'm assuming which is why you're here then there are five important things we need to do before we create the form so we can set ourselves up for Success so let's quickly tackle those number one make sure the page we're putting the legion form on looks amazing because First Impressions count so let's see what visitors see when they visit our page go to me and then choose the page you want now that you're on the page right here click on view as member so you can see what your visitors will actually experience make sure there's a nice logo and banner image at the top make sure all sections are filled out you get it number two when people are on the page we want to make sure we can point them to the form farm so let's add text to the headline something like contact us to learn more with a downward Arrow since the form will be slightly farther down on the page and by the way I got this idea from Louise Brogan so shout out to Louise also while we're at it we can also mention the form in the about section of our page you'll see here in my about section it says learn more by filling out the form on this page or by contacting us directly it's nice to give people a choice number three we need to regularly schedule inviting people to the page because there's no sense in creating this beautiful page and Allegiant form if no one goes there in the first place so a great way to do this is by regularly inviting our connections to follow our page using this invite tool right here on our page LinkedIn typically allows us to invite up to 100 followers each month but if you're really active on LinkedIn then LinkedIn will let you do up to 250. number four make sure you have a privacy policy because LinkedIn is going to require you have one in order to create the legion form now if you don't already have a privacy policy on your website now's a really good time to get one anyway Google likes websites that have privacy policy and you might legally need one anyway depending on the country you live in and the types of data you collect on your website and it's pretty easy to get one you can Google free privacy policy generator to get yours and number five and this may seem obvious but so many businesses skip this step make sure you have a plan to do something with these email addresses when you collect them people are going to expect to hear from you right away seriously okay so now let's create an awesome form so we're on our company page or showcase page and make sure it says super admin here because you need to be a super admin to create the form click on edit page lead gen form and then toggle this on now let's choose our CTA which is call to action and I'm going to choose to get started and now here's where you put your privacy policy URL and for the headline here we only have 50 characters so we have to make it the most action oriented but most concise statement possible so I'll say get personalized social media training and strategy now for the body copy we can type up to 200 characters and I'm going to flesh this out a bit let's create a social media program that's fun to run and gets results hey there this is the future Brook talking I'm currently editing the video and I realized in the body copy I should have included what people can expect when they submit the form so after recording I added this into the body copy we'll email you shortly so we can learn more about your social media needs and see if our services are a good fit okay I still have more important things to tell you about the form so let's do that now if you scroll down here you'll see the preview of the form and you'll see that my Ampersand looks wonky so all we can do right now is publish this and just see if this is a preview issue or if this issue actually carries over to the form itself because this may happen to you so I'm going to show this to you so click on Save then X out of here now here LinkedIn asks if I want to create a post celebrating the fact that I just added a legion form and that seems a bit excessive so no thank you but I still need to check the Ampersand situation and I want to see what happens when someone clicks on the form so like what's the full path here so since we're back on the company page in the top right corner click on view as member let's scroll down and the text for the form including the Ampersand looks good so Now Let's Pretend We're a visitor and click on get started now what's great is that LinkedIn already fills out everything to increase our chances that the visitor will submit the form all the person has to do is check the box that says that they're okay with your company contacting them by email so once people fill out the form how do we get the leads now this part I find a little disappointing and if someone from LinkedIn happens to be watching this please hear me out here when I submitted my own form I didn't see anything in notifications I didn't get an email I didn't get anything to prompt me to look for the leads I just had to have the idea myself to go to the company page click on analytics click on leads and then see if there's anything to download it'd be really nice if we had a prompt now I do go on LinkedIn practically every day so I can add this to the workflow but not everyone does so LinkedIn if you're watching this please notify us when we get leads please now the legion form is just one of many things we can do on LinkedIn to grow our business remember that we can do amazing things on our LinkedIn profile to build our Network and attract the right customers so check out this video video in the top right corner where I show you seven practical ways to do that on the free version of LinkedIn thank you so much and see in the next video
