How to create outlook signature

hey guys this is subhasis Mishra today we are going to discuss important interview questions for test leads and managers if you are getting prepared for a test lead or test manager interview I am sure this video will help you a lot here we will discuss 20 technical managerial interview questions from company to company the expectations and the rule and responsibilities are different so if you are looking for only technical questions I have prepared multiple interview videos on Java on selenium rest assured API automation test NG SQL Unix and all I'll provide the links in the description you can go through them one more thing if you are very new to my channel and not at subscribed to my Channel please do subscribe and share it with your friends also don't forget to press the like button it motivates me to create more such videos anyway without any delay let's start [Music] thank you so the very first question is which tell me something about yourself also what is your role and responsibility in your project so this is the very fast question you will get in any interview you can give a brief introduction like you can tell your name place your current organization your total year of experience also year of experience as a lead or manager here the most important thing is you can talk about your role and responsibility you can be honest in your answer be prepared for it before your interview try to write your answer in a notepad usually what happens we do lot of things in our day-to-day work life but if all of a sudden someone asked this question we may tell few points but there is a high chance we will also miss few points which are really important so if we document and prepare for it we will definitely give a better answer here I am giving some sample answer but you can prepare your own version of answer as role of responsibility varies from person to person so for example you can start like I do manage a complete test program starting from understanding and analyzing the requirement document to creating test plan test execution reporting coordination with different cross-functionality and delivering the product and interacting with different stakeholders and customers I have also good experience in automation testing in UI I have good experience in Java selenium testing protractor Cyprus in API automation I have very good knowledge in rest assured API automation so we use Java statio test NG extent report Maven good expertise in Gate as Source control and Jenkins for creating CI and CD pipelines I have also good experience in SQL and Unix I have also experienced as a scrum master I have also very good experience in hiring training plan and mentoring new team members also good experience in appraisal and career development of team members so that will be the brief introduction and talking about your role and responsibility in your project so we'll move to the next question tell something about your project and explain how it is bringing revenue for your company so this question is asked in most of the interviewers as interviewer want to understand your knowledge and involvement in your current project but here in this case this question is bit tricky as they are asking about the revenue your project prints as you are a lead or manager you should have knowledge about the business how your project is helping customer and how much revenue it is generating basically you should have the bigger picture so you should have a thorough understanding about your project with end-to-end flow if you don't know about the revenue or business try to get that information at least you should have some rough numbers in your mind then you can easily talk about it I have also prepared a video how to explain your project in interview you can also refer to that I'll provide the same link which you are seeing here in the video description okay so refer to that video to understand how you can explain your project okay we'll move to the next question which type of automation framework you are using and what is your contribution in that so here you should tell about your automation framework any UI or AP automation should be fine you should overall talk about that automation framework which you have worked so the very first thing you should explain why framework is important how you identified the tool and technology used in that framework which you have developed what is your contribution in the framework development what is the ROI ROI means return on investment what value added to the project by this framework how your team is managing and maintaining the framework so you should talk about all these points also you can give a detailed brief about the framework I have also prepared a video how to explain your automation framework in interview you can also refer to that I'll provide the same video link in the description you can refer to that and you can explain your automation framework okay we'll move to the next question what kind of cicd process you follow and how it helps this is very important question as everyone expects you should have a solid knowledge about continuous integration continuous delivery and continuous deployment lead or QA manager you should have a detailed knowledge how cicd process helps in speed of overall software development the Ci or CD pipeline is the most important part of any software development project the main purpose of cicd pipeline is to automate the testing and deployment deploying of software you should talk about how your unit test cases or integration test cases or regression test cases gets executed part of the cicd process also you can talk about how do you execute your performance and load test if you have implemented parallel testing that also you can talk how you have implemented parallel testing in cicd Pipelines also you can talk about nightly test execution in Jenkins till how it reduces manual efforts when the same test gets executed repeatedly how you get immediate feedback when your test cases are getting executed multiple times how you are getting immediate result and immediate feedback and how you are fixing it and how you are doing the speed up of your overall project how test can be more accurate and cover more test cases so you can talk about all these things okay so that will be part of your cicd process then we'll move to the next question what is the difference between monolithic and micro Services architecture so nowadays most of the companies move to microservices so it is obvious you will get questions around microservices also you will get questions on apis as well but this is very fundamental question why companies are moving towards microservices what are the advantage and disadvantage basically they want to know if you have a clear understanding when monolithic helps and when microservices helps so in case of Monolithic architecture your entire application is packaged and deployed together while in case of microservices an application is broken into a collection of small independent services that communicates with each other over a network mostly over HTTP each service is responsible for a specific business capability and can be developed deployed and scaled independently this makes it easier to make changes to the application without affecting other parts of the system so the advantage of Monolithic application is it is relatively easier and simple to develop in comparison of comparison to microservices architecture it is easier to deploy as only a single jar or War file is deployed whereas the major disadvantages with the time if project becomes too large then it is very difficult to manage we need to redeploy the whole application even for a small change for newly joined people it is very difficult to understand the logic of a large monolithic application now coming to the microservices the advantage are it is easy to manage as it is relatively smaller if there is any change required then we need to redeploy only that micro Services all other micro Services can remain same easy for newly joined developers as they need to understand only a particular microservices which they will work on each microservice can be used different Technology based on the business requirement again it is an advantage then what are the disadvantage it is much more complex than monolithic applications so microservices are complex than monolithic applications skill developers are required to work with microservice architecture so you need skilled Developers independent deployment of microservices is complicated microservices are costly in terms of network usage that is the overall advantage and disadvantage of Monolithic and microservices architecture you can give example of your own project as well while explaining this but if you can able to explain what is the difference between monolithic and microservices that is more than enough okay we will move to the next question what are the key challenges of software testing so there are multiple challenges you can talk about everyone will have their own version of challenges so definitely you can talk about your own challenges so here I am just going to discuss some common challenges which most of the software testers faces right so let's see so testing phase is usually under a time constant understanding the requirements can sometimes be a challenge if there is a frequent change in the requirements missing documents and lack of communication documentation and Communications plays a major role in testing stable application and environment setting priorities for testing lack of tools resources and trainings so all these are challenges in software testing you can talk more about it how and what kind of challenges you faced in your project okay so for example time constant you can give one example of your project how time constraint was a challenge in that particular project and how you managed it okay similar things if there is a frequent change in requirements in your project and how you managed it and why do you think it is a challenge and how it affected your deliveries right you can talk about all those things okay we'll move to the next question if there is a customer escalation and production issue found in a Friday night where most of the employees are not available how you will manage it very practical and manageable question how you will deal with this situation so this again this answer can vary person to person okay so because different people having different way of handling their things right so how you will answer to these questions right so that I am going to explain here so basically the very first thing is acknowledge the issue try to reproduce it in both production and QA environment check the severity of the issue and impact of the issue on customer find a mitigation plan to reserve the issue basically without a core fix like updating the configuration file or if you can do a database update or you can set some property so basically that customer will be unblocked so that issue can be mitigated immediately without a code fix so try to find a mitigation plan if possible revert to the old versions okay sometime we can refer to the old versions if we have deployed a new build maybe we can revert to the old version but again you have to see the surrounding if it is possible then only you can do it if nothing works and need a urgent code fix reach out to the team and plan for a code fix and Patch release okay so you tried all the different options but nothing is working right then you have to do a code fix then how you will do it you have to reach out to the team members you have to plan for it okay and then do a pathways and the very important thing after the release give come up to all your resources who worked in the weekends because it is a weekend right you have to keep motivating the employees so you have to give Comfort to the people who worked in the weekends and once everything is done once the issue is settled plan for a retrospective meeting and try to understand the issue and how it got introduced and document the learnings from this issue and take corresponding actions so similar issue will not come in future this is very very important we have to learn from our mistake so you have to take some actions so similar issue will not come in future but that you have to retrospect you have to understand the issue you have to come up with some action some plans and take some actions on that okay so similar is will not come in future so basically that should be your answer to this question okay but yes if you have your own version of answer if you want to add something to it definitely you can do it okay let's move to the next question tell me three best things which you have done to improve the process in your project so being a leader manager you will definitely get this type of questions so it is always good to be prepared for these answers because on top of your answers interviewer will ask some more cross questions if you would have not prepared well you will not basically think about some work which you have implemented in your project which had a wide impact and adopted by the team and added a lot of value so here I'll give some examples but it is always good to prepare your own versions of answer okay so you could tell something like I've prepared release guideline which made release process smooth implemented bug bash sessions to find more issues and feedback early in the development cycle streamline test environments so basically we have seen lot of issues in test environment so if you have done some fix if you have done some good work in that so process system line created a tool to fetch this data and removed dependency from different teams implemented automation framework which is used by different teams so here these are some examples definitely you will have some better work which you have done for your project but basically be prepared for it to keep the answers ready so if someone is asking you you should be able to answer that okay we'll move to the next question tell me one instance where you failed completely and how you handle that situation this question is again to evaluate your managerial skill and how you are dealing during failure so again think about some situation where you failed and put that in a positive way very very important though you have failed still while answering it you have to put it in a positive way so you can tell why you wanted to implement that solution what was the initial analysis done before you implement that how you implemented it how initially it was giving result but exactly in which case it failed and after it failed what are the different steps you took what was your learning out of this failure you should articulate all these things very clearly so here I have not given any sample answer you can create your own version from the previous question examples in the previous question we spoke about we discussed few points few things which you have implemented in your project Okay so try to take some example from that and build your answer or really if you have fell somewhere try to give that example but make sure you are telling you are putting it in a positive way okay we will move to the next question how will you select one tool if two members in your team comes with two different tools so again manageable questions all right so how you will deal with this kind of situation so the very first thing is identify features required in a tool as per your project needs evaluate commercial and non-commercial tools that meet the requirements estimate cost and benefit of the tool cost again includes license and training have a team meeting and ask for the team members to present their POC make the final decision by looking at all above angles and consolation with all the team members make sure the other person is convinced why he is her tool is not selected if he or she is not convinced try to make him or her understand the evaluation process how you concluded in one tool this is very important you have to convince the other person okay you have to convince each and every one in your team why you are selecting one tool over other two okay so you need to make the process very very transparent okay we'll move to the next question how do you motivate your employees in top times it is very important for a leader to manage stop times employees should stay focused and motivated during tough times then only they can deliver the best result so you can say something like as a leader I believe I must be the one who is constantly driving an atmosphere of positivity and focus I make sure everyone is aware of organization vision and goals I do set clear expectation for each individual and remind them about the goals and to appreciate for the work done by them in the same time I do let them know about the responsibility we have and need to contribute it till the end I also talk to each individual take the feedback from them tell them to stay positive communicate each aspects of the project and how they are important for this project the last point is very very important right so talking to each individual taking feedback and asking them to stay positive OK and communicating each aspect of the project and how they are important for this project right so in that way you motivate each and every individual we'll move to the next question what do you think are important aspects of a team I believe effective communication is the most important part of teamwork involves consistently informing each individual and never assuming that everyone has the same information in the same time sound listening skills is very important for a good teamwork so team members should listen to each other trust and respect also play an important role in a good team people should trust and respect each other in a team so these are the very very important aspects of a team we'll move to the next question how do you go about delivering bad news or a decision to your team again very important question delivering bad news or a decision is definitely a challenging job but I'll be better prepared for it I'll try to get enough information from my leaders before communicating to my team I'll be honest and clear while stating the news I'll also talk about the reasons behind the news or decision and I would focus on the positives and I would also take some time to ask questions or feedbacks and answer them ingly so that's how I can deliver a bad news or decision to the team let's move to the next question how will you manage team conflicts so this is very much natural thing and it happens while working with Diversified team so being a leader we need to be prepared for it so when a team complex happen the immediate thing is to have a meeting and listen to each individual and identify the points of agreement and disagreement listen to them very carefully and find which areas of conflict are more important to each of you to resolve develop a plan to work on each conflict and have regular follow-ups till it results completely lastly ask the team members to cooperate and make them understand the importance of their cooperation for the success of the project this is very very important you need to make them understand the important of the importance of their cooperation for success of the project if you are able to make them understand this point most of the problems will be solved okay we'll move to the next question how do you handle a decision that you made that didn't have the effect that you are expecting to achieve very important question so there is no harm in accepting the decision that didn't work out so accept it it is important to understand why the decision didn't have the expected result is it due to lack of execution or poor strategy or just a poor decision or anything else which caused it so try to find RCA so basically I will do a root cause analysis and try to minimize the damage I will take it as a learning opportunity and will find an immediate alternative solution for the problem I will also make sure similar mistakes or decisions should not repeat in future so basically you can answer it in this way I accept it I will find the RCA I will find an alternative solution and I will take actions so same thing will not repeat in future okay we'll move to the next question how do you go about deciding with your leader about a decision that you know is not the right one this is very important in our workplace we all need to raise our points when we disagree on something but for everything there is a right way so while deciding with your leader about a decision always start on a positive note always start on a positive note very very important explain your or teams concerns very clearly with data and example remember this thing data helps a lot if you have setup of data which can prove what you are telling that will help like anything okay so if you have data well and good if not you can give some examples so propose an alternative solution so when you are disagreeing on something you should have an alternative solution okay again the next thing the very important thing is we can appropriate time and place for this discussion maybe you can schedule some time in advance to discuss about your concerns the last Point build a strong working relationship with your leaders so in any situation like this you can have a different opinion and you can talk about it very clearly okay let's move to the next question you are at a point with an employee that it is best to have them leave the organization how do you go about the conversation so be prepared for it the very first thing is be prepared for it and stick to the facts here you have to stick to the facts okay and you have to be prepared before having the conversation so find a proper time and place to communicate and clearly State what was the expectations from him or her and what is the track record so far as for the performance goals are not met with companies policy we are letting him or or go from the organization you just inform that also communicate to complete all other formalities as per the company policy let's move to the next question an employee wants a promotion however he or she is not qualified for the new position how do you have the conversation with the employee most of the managers or leaders face this kind of situation and face this kind of interview questions so to answer this I will have a one-to-one discussion and will listen to the employee why he or she thinks to get a promotion I will explain them what the expectation or qualifications are required in that promoted role and where he or she is lagging I will convince the employee that as of now he or she is not qualified for this new position and must develop some skills and abilities I will also create an action plan which will help them work on the skills they would need for the new position I would regularly check on how they are progressing to ensure they are on the right track so that's how I'll do my conversation okay we'll move to the next question what are the great skills your manager having which you respect a lot very important and a tricky question okay so they want to know how much respect you have for your manager and how you are putting it okay so to answer this my manager has a great listening skills he listens completely to each individual and respect everyone's point of view he encourages and supports his team he provides positive feedback which helps employees understand what they did well in the same time he also identifies the opportunities for improvement he is very honest and transparent he communicates well to the team and resolves the queries he is goal oriented and helps team to achieve the goal he is trustworthy and respect confidentiality this is very very important trustworthy okay again you will have your own setup of answer you can talk about it okay let's move to the next question how as a new manager you will get respect from team members very important so I believe before we can gain respect we must treat our team with dignity and gratitude we need to listen to the team very carefully and understand everyone's point of view we need to support and encourage team we need to lead with actions not only words for example if you want your employees to work hard you also need to show them that you are also a hard worker this is very important be accountable for your words and actions in every situation encourage and appreciating for all the good work also provide feedback for employee Improvement so in that way definitely you can gain respect from your team members but again you can add your own answers you can add more points to it okay these are more manageable questions there is no right or wrong answers definitely every individual will have different kind of answers so guys please comment me if you think differently okay so that's all for today I hope this video is helpful for you if you are watching this video till now please press the like button and share it with your friends thank you bye
