using filters on your lead list filtering your lead list allows you to see a specific segment of your data based on whatever criteria you select to filter we add filters to our lead list by selecting them from the drop down menu on the leave list here and you'll see in this list we have all of our standard system Fields as well as your custom fields that you can choose to filter by I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to select state but if I want to filter by a state or specific States I'm going to recommend that you choose country as well because that will allow you to specify the United States of America first and then you will only see the states in that country if you don't select country first you will get a list of all of the states in the entire world and then I'm going to select lead to owner as well now when I click off of there nothing happens until I click the gray button that says add filter and then those filters appear on my window for me I don't need to use them if I don't want to but like I said state is going to give you a list of all of the states in the world until I select United States scrolling there we go United States I click off of there and now my state list is much shorter so I can see that here and when I click into that it will then adjust my lead list based on the criteria that I've chosen to filter it by uh if I'd set up some filters maybe I only want to see certain things and then I can save it as a default search or so the default search would allow it to be what opens up on my lead list every time I open the lead list or if I'd created a specific search for a particular project I could save this as a report and that would appear on my dashboard for me as a saved report that I could access again in the future without having to reconfigure these filters and that's how you apply filters to your lead list if you have any questions please reach out to help desk at franchiseelf.com thanks for watching
