probably have to send a lot more messages for b2c yeah and those reply rates might be a lot lower so what is considered like a successful b2c outbound campaign we look at like the reply so if we get you know if we send 100 text messages um and we we would like to get one response from that like one positive reply for that that's for real estate for solar it could be about a thousand two thousand three thousand it depends on the market um but the way that we structure it now and we test a lot of different scripts is the very first message we say is like hey is this John and they respond positive to it it'll automatically send a message which is like the author message so kind of going into like smart this is Kayla and this is why I'm reaching out to you you know I mean so like when they reply once they're twice as likely to respond again and that honestly increased our uh response rate from like 20 to like 50 or 60 that's a golden nugget right there send them like a screening text hey is this your name if they answer positively I don't whenever I get text messages like that I either capital letters stop or reporting this number or I just don't respond at all so obviously I wouldn't get that second text message from you but the people who do say yeah this is Jay what's up yeah that's that's you going for the kill for I mean me personally if someone says hey is this Blake I'm like who is this you know I mean like I'm very curious like who are you and why you have my numbers the text blue or is the text green green yeah they're gonna play for me too but like I'm trying to get it blue but like it's green for now yeah but that would be a superpower right that would that would don't text message iMessage style yeah that would double conversions for sure I think so for sure as well so what tool are you guys using to send that kind of volume and what does it cost we used to go high level um and we actually recently ran into a lot of issues with twilio which is like the text message provider right um they had a bunch of regulations coming out and like now they're like filtering messages that seem salesy and again the goal is to not seem salesy is to be like it's my name is Kayla and I'm reaching out because of this you know like I'm I got your number online just because you know I wanted to reach out to you um that really has helped it cost about eight cents of a eight cents of a penny to send one text message and to respond or to receive a text message too so if you send one message and you get a message back it's all it's a little bit almost two pennies pretty much yeah twilio's I think as cheap as it gets right that's where most of like the big companies Outsource a lot of their email and texting to it and you can get that price on too if you have larger like contracts with them yeah but yeah that's standard cost so I know go high level makes it a little hard to do that with email you can't send a million emails in one blast because of their email integration and who they work with but text I mean are you able to do like a mass text or do you have to do drip mode like you do with email you can do mass text we do manual believe it or not and the manual one gets um around that regulation too of like saying like hey this is soliciting like we're having a VA manually send these text messages out and they can send you know five or six per second so like they just keep like clicking you know what I mean so like it worked it works pretty easily um but yeah we can still do the the bulk drip but that's what we found out is if you do like a bulk text message blast that's when twilly would be like okay well you sent 2 000 text messages in two seconds from this one phone number it looks a little like sketchy right but if you do the manual they can't like block the text messages so that's how we got around like the filtering uh we had like 20 to 30 percent messages being filtered um so the manual text messages definitely helped that interesting that's another hack thank you for for sharing that you just have to do the clickies exactly yeah and you can set up manual campaigns and go high level you guys usually go high level we do okay yeah you can send the manual text um which is pretty easy yeah we've actually never used their campaign function really because you can't send mass emails as far as I'm aware at least not with their integration and not with our Gmail integration so we still use activecampaign to send any mass email blast to our list for cold email we don't really use go high level at all we use a cold email specific tool but we do use it as kind of a CRM all of our sequences are within Goa high level we're moving all of our landing page and our forms and to go high level it's a great tool that's why I love to go high level because you can do everything inside of there yeah don't need zapier anymore yeah exactly yeah and I love the uh the referral program they have too like I just every time like oh you want to you sign up I hear you use my link you know yep yeah so that's nice I just got my first referral from go high level we've been on the platform maybe two or three months okay and we're level I'm like we just like switched crms there's no way I'm switching crms but I wish we would have switched earlier man it's it's made us a ton of money already very happy that we did well so go
