law firm to work with they're Googling things they're searching things and they are probably have a question or they've had something happen in their lives or they're trying to prepare for the future and they just maybe have a question or two they need some help with so instead of asking them to do a really big barrier which is schedule a consultation call that can feel very challenging this is a much easier way to nurture a potential lead and gives you the opportunity to get them into your database without them having to schedule a free consultation that can be a big barrier for many people having to get on a call with someone but maybe they just have a couple questions and by you offering this them this opportunity this makes it so much easier for your potential client and it's showing them that you have amazing customer of service so if you don't have a team member that can manually respond to text messages that come in you can set up digital chat Bots that have answers to certain prompts and it's really easy to set up with lots of different systems like go high level lawmatics and lots of other s so definitely make sure that you have this on your agenda on your site and it is not expensive to input and it is a great way to nurture and connect with potential leads many people are on their phones now and maybe not checking email as much as they used to so it's so important to have a text message chatbot on your site that is responding to questions and nurturing the relationships with potential clients all right another way that you can nurture potential leads that come in is having a lead magnet on your site and then instilling a follow-up email sequence and follow-up text message sequence after they opt in so a lot of opportunities I see for law firms is they don't have a way for people to get a free resource or something really helpful to them from their their the law firm site that they're at that's a big opportunity missed so you should be looking for a resource whether it's a free training or a checklist a guide that you can give away for free on your website you can do it as a simple pop-up you can also put it somewhere on your site and this allows a potential client to again have a low barrier of Entry to learning more about you and they can sign up for the resource and then a great way to nurture them is to send them a series of emails connecting with them and building that know like and trust but again because it's 2023 so many people are on their phones right now so having a system that allows you to follow up with them via text message that is so helpful and it's such a great way for a law firm to connect and meet people where they are today so think about a resource or something that your firm could give away for free because remember people are searching for answers when they're looking for you on Google on their what wherever they're looking if it's not on Googles they're looking for answers and by having a resource that you then follow up with them on it gives them an opportunity to learn more about you and then it makes you look like you have authority in your space and it also allows you to build that know like and Trust factor with a potential client okay I want to take a minute and stop right here to talk to you and ask you a question do you already have a chat bot on your website or is this something that you don't have let me know in the comments if you already have a chat bot on your website and how is that going for you you can just drop the question answer in the chat there would love to hear from you all right the final way that is a really simple way for you to nurture a potential client is to instill text message follow-ups or an email sequence follow-up when someone is added to your database so this is works really great if you have an intake form so many people when I look at their website sites have a request a consultation form or an intake form already on their site but it is a missed opportunity when you're not instilling a follow-up email sequence once somebody fills out that form or a text message follow-up because many people fill out that form and then they don't hear anything from you because many of the times they're waiting on a human to respond when you have a system that allows you to instill a simple follow-up sequence via email and a simple text message sequence you're meeting people immediately you're getting back to them and again you're showing that you can build a no life and trust with them this also allows you to not lose track of the leads that you're getting in speed is so important here people are actively looking for help if you're a will and Trust lawyer or you're an estate planning lawyer or probate these people are sometimes looking for help and very difficult times of their lives for example and having to wait is not something that's good for them they want to find somebody they're looking for a firm that they can trust that also has really great customer service when you have a sequence in place that's going to get to them quickly not only via email but by a text message you are meeting them in a really important place and showing that you have it all together and that's so important so if you this is the easiest one by far to implement of the three that I've shared today so make sure that you have a simple follow-up email sequence and text message sequence after you somebody fills out your intake form on your site if you do nothing else this is the most important because we want to make sure that
