I uh am the business impact director with n Octane and what that means is I work internally with our client teams to drive strategy internally and uh really bring that throughout the program and also work with clients in that fashion and then uh work on some of our business development things as well I've actually been with the agency seven years now and and uh when it comes to lead nurturing really have focused um large and small companies utilizing a tool and not utilizing a tool to help really um meet specific client goals generally around customer acquisition retention and growth uh you can expect to walk away with a really good definition that's clear of what lead nurturing is there's it's a buzzword right now and there's a lot of misconception about what it really means um uh you can also walk away understanding where it can be used and when it should be used it's not something that's used just once it's really meant to manage the entire customer life cycle and we'll also obviously talk about some of the tactics that you can pull in to help with your nurture program goals um so who do you think this webinar would best fit to who are we speaking to here is it marketers other roles maybe that would benefit from hearing this uh definitely marketers um first and foremost uh given the misconception given the importance of really managing the customer life cycle at this point uh it's a great one for marketers to be on um specifically because we'll be taking it from the Strategic to the Tactical level and then in addition to that salespeople as well we always find it really useful to have um sales involved in in in lead nurturing programs um they often learn a lot about how we undertake things and they provide a lot of good Insight so it' be great if if we could have some sales people join so so you know what marketing is talking about when they when they come your way yes the uh buying is definitely a huge factor I can speak to that from a personal standpoint as marker as well today we really wanted to take some time to talk about the strategy behind lead nurturing and not focus on the tool actually um people often think you know lead nurturing is is a really big buzzword in the marketing Community right now but often times It's associated with a marketing automation tool um but that's not really what lead nurturing is just because you have a marketing automation tool doesn't mean you're nurturing and you can also have a great strategy and a great tool but without the right execution you're also not lead nurturing um so today we're going to spend some time defining it and really expand that definition and give everyone a good understanding of it and uh some of the processes that we go through as an agency to help our clients uh undertake their lead nurturing programs prior to that though wanted to just talk about why lead nurturing so here are a couple quotes from some uh people in Industry so number one multiply your company's Revenue by five that's the sum of what lead nurturing could produce considering that long-term leads the ones often ignored by salespeople represent as much as 80% of your sales second the future of marketing lies in engaging your customers and potential customers to be truly interested in your messages and perceive them as useful not simply as marketing
