What is a lead prospect client funnel?
A lead funnel is a representation of the process a prospect moves through from “lead” to “customer”. The funnel is made up of three stages (awareness, consideration and conversion), each with its own predefined set of steps.
-
What is the lead to customer funnel?
There are five main stages of the lead generation funnel: awareness, interest, appraisal/desire, action/confirmation, and conversion. Each stage maps to a part of the lead generation funnel—top-of-funnel (TOFU), mid-funnel (MOFU), or bottom-funnel (BOFU), as you can see in the diagram below.
-
Where is lead gen in the marketing funnel?
Your lead generation funnel is essentially the top of your sales funnel and encompasses the “awareness” and “interest” stages. It's a collection of assets (ads, content, videos, etc.) that are designed to introduce new people to your brand and convince them to hand over their email addresses.
-
What is the difference between a lead and a funnel?
While lead generation concerns finding potential customers, a sales funnel guides interested individuals to become paying customers. The primary goal of sales funnels is to take someone who is interested in what you are offering and guide them step-by-step through the buying process.
-
What is the typical lead funnel?
Understanding a lead funnel is essential as it depicts the customer's journey from initial awareness to final purchase. This funnel is typically divided into three main sections: the top, middle, and bottom. Each section represents a distinct phase in the sales pipeline that requires specific strategies and content.
-
What is the customer funnel concept?
A marketing funnel is the purchase cycle consumers go through from awareness to loyalty. The marketing funnel concept has been around for over 100 years and its purpose is to easily categorise major milestones along the shopping journey, from awareness to consideration, to decision, then loyalty.

if you're a local business I've got three great lead generation strategies or online funnels that you can use to bring way more customers in your door each and every day and we're starting right now if you want to transform your website into a customer or lead generation machine I'll show you all my best tips tactics and secrets to get there fast let's dive in hey there West McDowell your web strategist for the deep end and if you're not subscribed to the channel consider subscribing just click on the subscribe button and the little bell icon next to it so you never miss another video you need to succeed online so if you own a local business or even a brick-and-mortar business I want to show you three highly converting online funnels you can use to get more leads on a consistent basis and drive more sales so first of all let's get a little bit of clarity on what exactly a funnel is so you can generally think of this like you know a pyramid like this so you've got people on the top of the funnel the most people are going in the top then a few more people kind of get down to the middle of the funnel and with those people are a little more interested and then the bottom of the funnel is where they finally become a customer so that's what we're talking about here today and the goal of a funnel is basically to move that potential customer from just being introduced to your company all the way through becoming a paying customer okay so the first one is the freebie giveaway or discount funnel so if you want to increase your customer base the best way of doing that is just by getting people through the door so you know if you have a brick-and-mortar location a physical location I'm probably talking about a literal door you know getting people into the building but maybe you have more of a service business maybe you work from home if you're a graphic designer or maybe you travel out to people if you're a plumber or electrician so in that case I really just mean getting people into your business by trying out what you can do for them so the first best thing to do here is think of what you could possibly offer someone for free could be a free personal training session or a free strategy session or basically any kind of service that you could offer for free for a first-time customer or if you have a physical location maybe it's more of a product instead of a service maybe it's a free dessert or a free dog dish a free jump rope and yes it can absolutely be a discount if you don't like the idea of free but I like free for one very specific reason and I actually learned this lesson from Jon Taffer you know the bar rescue guy he's really smart he knows all the ins and outs of running a successful bar or restaurant and he basically said when you give someone a discount they come to expect that discount over and over and over again but people will only expect to get something for free once so whatever it is you're offering for free I would definitely promote that on your website if you're on Yelp you can offer it as an offer on Yelp and I would also probably tell you to if you're talking about funnels here I would definitely recommend promoting it with locally targeted either Facebook Instagram or YouTube ads and whether or not you want to capture emails as part of this process is up to you but generally getting people through that door either figuratively or literally is mission accomplished here so I would rather see you get more people through the door than to eat into those numbers by requesting an email address which is going to result in fewer people actually taking you up on your offer okay the next option is the education funnel so maybe you offer something that is really straightforward and everyone understands you know haircuts people get it you make keys understood but what if you offer something a little more unique or something that's new to the market or something that people may not really understand why they need it maybe you offer some new kind of spa service that people haven't really heard of yet or an art supply store that sells all kinds of things that people might need to be shown how to use them to create something really cool and there are many ways you can teach these things you know PDFs checklists audio trainings but my favorite by far is video and don't get scared off you know it doesn't have to be Hollywood level produced it can be very on the fly you know just using your smart phone that's fine and in that video or checklist or guide or whatever you want to do you're basically gonna want to let them know what it is how you can use it what the benefits are basically going into all that and then follow it up with what they have to do to get their hands on it and then you just put that video up on your website probably you want to do it on YouTube as well and then you can run it as a facebook video ad or an Instagram video ad and then just target it to people in your local area for you know one or two dollars a day possibly five dollars a day if you live in a bigger area all right next we have the upsell funnel so one way to keep your business growing is by adding new customers consistently another is to increase the frequency and amount spent for your existing customers and since acquiring a new customer can cost five times as much as keeping an existing one this is a really smart strategy you're gonna want to pay attention to and here's another stat that I think you might be interested in I want to make sure I get this right so basically the success rate of selling to an existing customer is about 60 to 70 percent while a new customer is five to twenty percent and that comes from outbound engine comm so at its core this strategy is really simple you just need to make your current customers know all the options that are available to them you can email them with new products and services you can bundle products or services together as a package deal with some kind of a discount or you can let them know what other things you sell that would be a really great complement for our things they've already bought the idea basically is to let them know what the next logical step is so they've already expressed an interest they've already chosen you they've bought from you so just let them know in a really human way how you can help them get even better results or get even more of what they already enjoy so the best thing to do here the best method is just as simply email your customer list so you should be getting customer emails when they come in the door so make sure that you stay top of mind with your customers by sending them periodic emails and letting them know what you have that might be of interest to them so a pro tip here is if you can possibly segment your list meaning not everyone just goes on the same list but there's kind of mini lists based on what people have bought that way you can put even more relevant upsells in front of them all right now I want to hear from you and I want to know what kind of offer can you make to your either potential or existing customers to get them in the door for the first time or keep them coming back for more I want to know all about it so leave your comments in the comments below and I'll read through all of them and answer any questions I possibly can and if you're not subscribed to channel you got to go ahead and click on the circle icon right here to subscribe and I've got so many more videos to show you all about web success so go ahead and click on one of these right here and we can keep learning together alright I'm West McDowell for the deep end and I'll see you in one of those videos
