i-it's jovana from BAMF elites calm and I'm the founder of bumper leads and I help coaches consultants and e-commerce businesses bump up their sales inquiries and profit and today I really want to talk to you about a simple funnel that you can create for your business and this simple funnel is pretty much all about capturing a percentage of your online traffic that's visiting your website or your landing page so in this instance as you can see on this particular slide we have something that we call here as new lead funnel a new lead funnel is somebody that lands on your website but they're not ready to buy from you straightaway so you will often see that you sometimes get phone calls you sometimes get inquiries from people but if you look at your Google Analytics it may actually only show about 6% of your total overall traffic of people who are actually ready to talk to you so there's gonna be a vast majority of people who are not ready to talk to you and this is why this funnel is very important it's because we can capture those leads somehow in the funnel and one way to capture them is you will you would have here this often buy a lot of gurus talking about a lead magnet and a lead magnet is really a sales hook something online that will capture your ideal customer and bring them into your database so if I bring you I'm not sure whether you can see my screen but this is the screen essentially you will have a percentage of people who are actually going to be coming from Google Facebook whether that is organic or whether that is actually paid traffic somehow people will come in contact with you the next thing you have to be able to offer to them is something of value and that is a lead magnet usually on an e-commerce website you'll see people offering 10% off on any new purchase or sometimes it may be an e-book if you're a coach or a consultant you might be offering a worksheet and there's all this variety of things you could do there is also the next step there are a lot of people actually forget which is the thank-you page when somebody want you know comes on your comes to your form they want to actually fill in the form they land somewhere they redirect it to a URL that is a thank-you page in our speak in the marketing world so there is like a missed marketing opportunity that a lot of people forget so think about your customer and when they're visiting the website or the landing page they get to your lead magnet where else do you need them to go what text what action do you want them to take so your thank-you page should really be used to amplify your authority in your field the next stage is the actual engagement or nurture sequence and this nurture sequence is all about nurturing such as delivering the lead magnet so if this was the discount that's 10% discount delivery on the email a lot of people have them on the landing page or the thank-you page but I would probably caution you to not do that because at the end of the day we want to be able to educate these customers to expect emails from us so it's best if we actually deliver that lead magnet on the first email so then you have a series of emails that are being delivered with maybe something relevant something that really talks to the ideal customer you don't want to spam them with a lot of information and there is usually something very quick maybe we want a two-day delivery and then eventually those leads will end up into your maybe a newsletter list or something like that now the next important thing is that you want to be able to segment those leads and if you are using a tool like MailChimp or Aweber or we use activecampaign here and we love active campaign because so easy to use you can use something called tags and you want to be able to start doing that right away because you want to try and collect as much information as you can from that lead that's coming contact from you so I hope that makes sense I wanted to do a quick video just to show you what you can do and what's possible to do in just maybe in five minutes if you have spare five minutes in your business you are able to plan something like this on a piece of napkin but maybe a napkin or piece of paper before you start building anything inside any tool that you actually pick so I hope that's helpful and if you love this information please don't forget to subscribe to our You Tube channel and if you want to meet with one of our awesome automation experts I'm happy to meet with you as well feel free to go down and type in bumper leads come forward slash grow which is G ro W and I've put that information in the show notes and hopefully will speak to you soon
