How to create outlook signature

foreign [Music] if you like this video make sure to subscribe to our Channel and hit the notification Bell icon to get the latest updates so today's topic is the conversion process into saps forever I was supposed to go out today oh so you want to since we schedule this call or it's okay to continue it's okay we cannot skip the training parts so for this topic is conversion process into the sap S4 Hana sap S4 and I would say okay okay so now see over here first of all what do you understand by the word that's conversion they're basically I would say two projects over here when it comes to conversion there are two different projects okay first in conversion you have something called new implementation project second another in conversion you have for typical conversion project Okay so in conversion you have two types of projects first will be new implementation okay second will be conversion in new implementation what happens when the customer okay is implementing sap for the first time or the customer doesn't want to use their current sap system and they want to start from scratch that's a new implementation project conversion means what conversion is like customer is using sap from the past 10 years and now the customer wants to migrate or convert into SMB s4hana convert the existing or the older version of sap that he is using that the client is using basically they want to convert convert it into saps for her and that's a conversion process that's a conversion project okay now what needs to be checked with client before conversion into s4hana that means the requirements or I would say in simple word what needs to be checked the client before okay so that's why that means that the customer before the S4 Hana conversion before the s4hana conversion what needs to be checked with the client is a customer Okay so first thing that needs to be checked is clients should have okay sap Erp 6.0 version with an ehp of 0 to 7. PHP stands for enhanced package okay PHP it's an enhance package means for example it may contain some extra Advanced plugins for example that's about ehp enhance package okay mix requirement is customers let's say for example who have sap who are using SMD but the version is something below the version that they are using is something below sap Erp 6.0 ehp 0 to 7. now if I come back to the customers who are using who already have sap Erp 6.0 and an ehp somewhere between 0 to 7. then in that case for such customers okay we can use a one step conversion process that means from from Erp 6.0 let's say for example if the customer is having HP 3 and a next package of three okay so for such customers we can directly convert from Erp 6.02 sap s4hub but if the customers if the customer is using something below sap Erp 6.0 ehp-027 let's say Erp version 5.0 4.0 something like that primitive versions of sap so then for example there will be a two-step conversion over here process for such a customer why let's say for example this customer is using sap Erp 5.0 okay or let's say for example um 4.6 version of sap this customer is using sap version of 4.6 then that 4.6 will be converted first to 6.0 and then from 6.0 2 S4 Hana now that you understand the difference between a one step and a two-step process simple this is the realistic example I'm not giving any bookish examples okay okay so I have one question here if customer uh wants to implement okay they want to go into S4 Hammer okay and their package or whatever they are using currently say for example 4.6 so uh the which one is the cheapest for them new implementation will be the cheapest or the conversation the conversion is the cheapest in terms of the cost being cheapest for something okay so we it depends on the client whether the client wants to begin from the scratch as a new rotation or they directly want to convert their uh current sap system into sap s4hana that completely depends on their business requirement and first of all that completely depends on their budget okay but as per your uh uh yeah a suggestion which one is the most cost positive so see cost effective there's nothing like a cost effective over here okay cost effective I would say that okay and then say for example if the customer wants to use an on-premise version instead of a cloud origin okay Cloud version in case of cloud version the customer doesn't have to you know invest in huge Harvest like networking systems or hard drives or something like that big big um servers okay so that's not cost effective that's very cheaper but let's say for example the customer wants to go for on-premise versions then the customer has to you know invest in new hardware new computer systems new servers new data storage systems so that's that's cost effective and now that depends on the business of the client now for example say for any business reports is something which is you know data is a backbone of every industry data is collected on Excel sheets spreadsheets on Ripple in the form of reports okay so for sometimes you know if the data is so critical of the client then even if it's a small client also the client goes for on-premise version instead of cloud version so when the conversation is happening so that time the processes will be more into s4hana but the current whatever the data is there in the older version that will be not shipped to into s4hana correct that is later sessions in the later topics of this session okay yeah all right so next over here I would say is the timelines for conversion lab explained you what is a conversion process okay what are the different types of conversion now what are the timelines for conversions there is no specific timeline for the conversion process as this completely depends on the different processes that the customer is using the data the customer has and which approach the customer prefers example um when we go for a project we suppose we propose different scenarios to the to the customer in some scenarios customer will be migrated to sap S4 Hana in one year in some scenarios it may take two years in some scenarios it may take three years for example see sap supports migration from ECC systems that's uh 6.0 systems 6.0 systems okay to S4 Hammer even if let's say for example customer is not using Hana database customer can directly move to sap S4 header in which the conversion whichever database that our customer has will also be migrated to sap s4hana okay in case of step two process two-step process over here see this two-step process it takes a longer time but because it has to be converted to sap uh s4hana 6.0 sorry uh PRP 6.0 easy that is that is the ECC version and then from ACC 6.0 to the s4hana versions so there's this specific timeline for conversion process okay now let's understand the conversion process how it is performed why why technology always remember that the conversion process will be always done by the sap technical team not by us we are non-technical that means we are functional Consultants okay now first of all let me just explain you a real quick difference between sap older versions for example the R3 systems OMD S4 Hana systems Okay so okay this is nothing but a traditional GUI system for example contains a traditional GUI logging GUI means nothing but a graphical user interface that means there will be an sap logon pad that means logon icon on the screen the user will just double click the icon and you'll get a login screen that contains a username and a password a screen that contains a username and password or something that lets you log in to a particular platform a software by just typing your username and password as well as GUI graphical user interface understood the meaning of GUI no bookish definitions again okay okay now in case of sap s4hana there is no traditional GUI but there is an app called sap Fury app it is just an application I would say to log in which you can use online also as I've told you yeah which you can download from the Play Store and uh you can you can just log into sap by your Android phones tabs iPhones Etc but then you need the sap licenses of course and that's very expensive okay over here Erp that's enterprise resource planning is a core component okay this see this is all technical definition don't go in depth in this I won't personally go in depth in this because uh this is also important for us but this is for you to understand how the system works in the back end so that you get the knowledge right from ABCD okay this will help you for interview questions also okay here Hana database is the core opponent in case of sap s4hana now then you have something called over here in R3 systems our free systems can work either or on Hana database or any other database like Oracle also but sap s4hana can only work on Hana database that is because it is designed to be used on Hana database only the S4 version okay getting the point yes sir okay now in order to convert the existing existing systems into the sap s4hana the technical team will use some tools foreign let's take a look let's understand what are those tools that the technical team uses first tool that they use is known as something called maintenance planner okay second thing that they use is known as the custom code checks then they do some pre-checks also okay custom code checks and then they'll also do some pre-checks now let's understand these tools one by one first maintenance flannel it's a tool basically that will scan the system and the standard processes and whether the standard processes are supported or not supported or not supported by sap okay after scanning the system and after checking what standard processes now over here I'm just saying that after scanning the current system of the client I am not specifically saying sap I'm saying that after let's say for example checking the current system of the slide that the customer of the customer that the customer is using now the customer can use sap system also or any other Erp system also like Oracle or the customer might be using a plane MS Office also okay customer can use any Erp system like tally also not compulsory sap so after checking the current system after scanning the current system okay and all the standard processes the customer is using in that particular system whether whether it's an Erp or a non Erp system that the customer is using okay it will let the technical team understand that which processes are supported by sap and which processes are not supported by saps perhaps of the client after that it will create a list of all the supported and unsupported processes this list is known as simplification list okay it's nothing but it contains a list of all the features that sap will support and sap will not support and the features that sap will not support that list is really simplification list it simplifies the process that means it gives a clear process a picture of the client to the customer able to understand simplification lists also known as simplification database you're able to understand may you yes sir thank you then you have something called next step is custom code checks with just the customer is able to understand by doing the customer customer code checks customer is able to understand how many counts he is using and how many he will be able to use an s s for Hana goals you can say is nothing but the functions okay in simple words let's say for for example if a client if a customer is using 100 codes that means hundred functions then this tool will let the client understand that out of 100 functions that means 100 codes let's say 80 codes or 80 functions you'll be able to use and the rest of the 20 functions on also known as 20 codes he will not be able to use as they are not supported by sap it will also show that when these codes are created and where and whether they are really used for the customer or not after this is done with the technical team a report will be generated and that will be shared with the client next tool last but not the least is projects pre-checks help to understand whether a one step or a two-step process is required okay for the customer to migrate into sap S4 hella whether the financial accounts are required to be reconciled or whether they need reconciliation for example I'm just giving an example again I'm not giving any bookish definitions these are real-time examples I'm giving okay once all these checks are passed then a tool is used to convert the customers existing let's say for example the sap system into sap s4hana and the tool is known as s U and M software update manager software update Manager foreign yes sir okay all of these tools are not available in your system these tools which I've mentioned these tools or even the sum the software update manager which is this it's not available in your system okay if you are make a note of it that these tools are not available in your system I'll tell you why in the later section of this session today if you're not using let's say for example if you're not on a Hana database do you need to carry out a separate project to First upgrade to saps sap Hana database and upgrade to sap S4 Hana Suite answer much answer may you so sorry could you please come again if you're not on a Hana database do you need to carry out a separate project to First upgrade to sap Hana database and then number it to s4hana Suite means currently we are using say for example not uh sap software correct and then we want to go to s41 so we cannot directly go on to the Esperanza right right absolutely right okay the answer is no because the Su and the software update manager provides an option to convert into sap Hana and S4 header in one single step okay and that option that option again is known as d m or database foreign option okay now are these tools available these tools all of these SQL DMO okay maintenance planner custom code checks free checks are these tools available in ECC 6.0 or S4 Hana the answer is no first of all these tools are used for the technical team okay all of these tools these tools these tools they are used by the technical team for technical work they always use the client that is triple zero okay a client is nothing but a system environment I have explained you that contains basically three servers development server also is development environment a development client then quality testing client also known as quality environment or quality server then PRD that's production server or low res production environment or production applied which is the real-time server okay if you go back to the previous video you'll see that I've explained you previous videos okay so for technical work they always use client called triple zero and these tools are available separately only with the technical team as their external tools provided by sap so this is called as a Sandbox also so same thing is called as a Sandbox also correct now in development server you have a Sandbox server yeah in sandbox you have like see in development server you have a Sandbox and a configuration server yeah sandbox is basically for experimenting and configuration configuration customization see in sandbox also you do customization only but you do the testing first you do all the uh this thing sandbox after configuring the sandbox server same you have to reconfigure in the Hindi configuration server so that the TR number the transportation request number will be uh you have to just send it to the base system that's the admin team and then the basis team basically their job is to monitor the transport request okay and pass it on to the Quality server uh in the quality environment the quality server or the quality client it's running the same client environment servers are in the same there will be another team of sap Consultants might be senior sap Consultants or the managers they will do the testing and after they are satisfied okay then the TR number will be passed on to the production cell that's the final real-time server okay basically see there's a big Hall and a big screen okay over there the testing is done now since the external tools basically these are the external tools which are provided by sap and these tools sap provide provides you to the technical team so the client has to pay the licensing fees for these tools also okay now what are the different uh okay wait this should be too early for you [Music] okay I'll just give you a scenario let's say if I want to convert from ECC 6.4 to sap s4hana um it is showing that conversion is possible only for on-premise and not for cloud version even if I purchase Cloud can I perform the conversion think and tell me sorry sir could you please come again let's say if I want to convert from ECC to to S4 hello ECC 6.0 version to sap S4 Hana version okay why is it showing that conversion is possible for on-premise and not for cloud version even if I purchase let's say for example cloud can I perform the conversion uh I think so no um okay [Music] maybe because uh ac6 but oh don't have that facility of software update manager and the data migration option okay but I have purchased cloud [Music] thank you so then there might be possibilities there maybe in Cloud sorry the possibilities there may be in Cloud I'll explain getting confused giving yes contradict your own sentences that's a bad image let's let's hope you're not confident that's why you that's where you get clean board in the interview I'll give an example conversion is what you are just upgrading from let's say for example uh ehp 6.16 versions to seven the HP 627 version this is also a conversion right upgrade our existing system to Cloud we cannot convert that existing system to Cloud so what is the reason behind that emotion is what again a system upgrade in simple words am I right yes correct okay and let's say your current system is on premise version on premise version if I'm already using a system for example ECC 6.0 and I'm upgrading it to sap s4hana that means I'm using my own system and I'm just upgrading it so let's say I'm using a server in which sap ECC is installed so when I say conversion uh break my system maybe a hardware upgradation is also required and functional upgradation is also required by sap Hardware upgradation will be done by the customer functional upgradation will be done by sap right right now for for an example for for let's say for example for um on premise conversion both Hardware upgrading for example more RAM and functional upgrade from sap is required but if I am moving to cloud from on-premise it will not be a conversion but it will be a new implementation why that's because I have from the on-premise version to the cloud version [Music] so that that project or that convergence considered as a new implementation yes it will not consider as a convergent absolutely right so so yes sir uh so in that case uh everything will be done by scratch correct yes they will consider as a conversion no okay data will be data will be backed off course data the current data of the customer will be backed up but then it will be like doing from the scratch itself because the platform is changing right from on-premise uh to Cloud okay means uh the normal thing is that if customer is using a Erp uh 6.0 or 7 something uh yeah yeah so all these on premise now correct um yes on premise to on-premise will happen but on premise to Cloud it will consider as a new implement it will be considered as new implementation okay okay products are very much Clear sir thank you sir you're most welcome now let's understand the different phases or the process also known as the process of conversion to saps Forever all this while we just learned about the tools used for conversion into sap S4 error now we'll understand what are the different phases first is so all these things what we are just understanding here it's generally we can say that all the events basis or above teams uh correct ownership we can say yes yes we are as a functional consultant we don't play any role yet right I told you in the beginning it said that this is just for your understanding you should know the entire process process so interior may ask questions correct yes yes okay clear sir thank you thank you so much okay so now previously we just understood the different tools that are used for or let's say for example in the conversion process into sap s4hana now we'll understand what are the different phases or let's say for example the process of conversion into sap s4hana okay so what are those different phases first is preparation second is I would say installation then there is something called Delta configuration foreign data migration and then you have posts migration these are the five stages or the five phases okay in the conversion of or in the conversion in saps for Hana process so what is preparation the technical team will mean will use the maintenance planner okay custom code checks have been also known as customer custom code and analyzer um from the logistics point of view converting the vendors and the customers into one centralized function that is business partner so that function should be active basically they check this that from the various point of views let's say the customer wants to have sap implemented in the logistics Department so the tech team will use their tools like maintenance planner custom code checks also known as custom code analyzer okay and pre-checks now if the customer wants to implement sap into the logistics Department then from the logistics point of view whether the vendors and customers will be able to be converted into one centralized function that business business partner they will check that and for that that functionality has to be active they will check that first then from let's say for example in let's say the client wants to implement sap into the accounts department so from the accounts from the finance point of view okay period enclosures or account reconciliation these functionalities should be active they will check that that is this happens in the preparation stage there are many things like that I'm just giving you examples installation next status installation installation of course will be done the software will be installed using software update Manager software update manager Tech Team for example the technical team for example the basis team basis has a technician basis had a technical team I would say or the basis have a technical consultant so the software okay then next stage is Delta changes or Delta configuration Delta configuration that happens I showed to you once I get the access to the software okay after the software is installed automatically there will be a migration cockpit created into the sap system that I'll show to you once I get access to the software now this complete basic now just for now just understand that this complete cockpit contains three different folders okay first is preparation and migration of customizing this is related to Delta migration then you have something called Data migration the data which is which was migrated from the older SAP systems into the new SAP systems then you have something called post migration that's activities after migration once the technical team finishes the installation we will be hello yes sir yes what's the technical team finishes the installation the migration or the conversion processing to sap S4 Hana is done over here then we get the software into our hands then we get the software into our apps then what we'll do is that we will just go ahead and do some uh data transfers by using the software that is known as by using the P code that is sort of ltmc and ltmob so so data migration is part of uh functional consultant or basis consistency data migration once the data migration once the software is installed there will be something called Data migration cockpit creator okay after that straight away the software comes into our head then we'll the functionals here begins from collecting the data from the customer let's say for example the material data and uploading it into the sap s4hana versions okay okay we'll give the template to them and they will fill up and give it back to us very good you've got a recipe I think so yes it is you work in data migration yes okay so which two will be using on S4 Hana tell me uh s4hana I don't know but uh for ACC I mean R3 we are using lsmw so maybe Hannah maybe we are going to your body uh no no no no we will be using ltmc ltmc okay yes transformation migration cockpit okay okay so tomorrow I'll be trying to get the software maximum from nine for you okay so for today uh we have time no let's start the topic tomorrow only okay uh because uh now there will be only one Theory class okay or maximum two Theory classes then after that will be extensional practicals only okay thank you for attending the session I hope you all enjoyed it don't forget to like And subscribe to our Channel also feel free to ask your questions in the comment section below and we will reply to them at the earliest thank you
