all right welcome back to the channel and in today's video i'm going to tell you what funnel to use for your service business this is a question i get all the time but if you're new to the channel hey my name is dg thanks for checking out the video i help business owners grow online using sales funnels so if you don't know now you know but let's go ahead and get right into this thing because i know that this is a question that's on a lot of people's mind and that is hey what what funnel should i be using there's so many of them right it's a great question you should actually be using all of them that's right you should find a way to implement different funnels inside of your business so it is a bit of a trick question but i'm not going to leave you guys there because i know that that really doesn't help you out as far as that so let's go high level and talk about um the two types of funnels that you're typically going to be using inside of your service business and the first one is called a a product or a service funnel right so this is where you're actually going to sell the thing online where your client can make a purchase right there on the website they don't need to speak to anyone this works really well for flat fee offers so for example if you know that you charge a a fixed fee or price based on square footage or size or quantity then you're able to go ahead and make that sale right there in the funnel online they don't have to talk to they don't have to talk to somebody they can just get their purchase done and so the flow to that is you would have a sales page just kind of talking about what the offer is all that good stuff in order page where they actually make the purchase and then you can see there they purchased the main product and then they're going to go to upsell one and if they don't buy up so one they would go to downsell one and then go back to upsell number two and if they don't buy upsell number two then they go to down so number two and then to the order confirmation page now i would definitely recommend having at least one upsell but preferably two because that's the whole advantage of a sales funnel so unlike a traditional website where they would just buy the thing and then go to their confirmation page get a receipt in it and it's done the funnel allows you to be able to strategically place additional goods and services in front of them and then even offer them other alternatives if they were to say no to the initial thing so you definitely want to make sure that you at least have one upsell but preferably two and then the down cells are really optional those are things that you can kind of play around with and sort of figure that out but again this is for if you have a flat fee type of service offer okay now let's say that you have a quote offer where you you have to get on site or see you know whatever's going on or have some type of questionnaire that you need to answer or maybe it's just really high ticket and you want to sell them on the phone so in that case you're going to use what is called a lead funnel so a lead funnel the idea is that we're just collecting information so as you can see there on the opt-in page all we want to do is just grab some information and then we're going to take them over to a sales page this could also be a thank you page or a bridge page it really is is up to you um for this demonstration it says sales page but again you can use a couple of different kind of formats there but the general idea is that once we collect their information we're just going to tell them what happens next and then they're going to click through to a calendar where they can go ahead and book a call with you or where you can reach out to them so the calendar step is really optional i typically like the idea of having a calendar especially if you deal with people that are that are typically very busy they may not have an opportunity to to answer their phone it may help as far as the scheduling but either way you still want to be proactive as far as reaching out with that person so that's the idea of a lead funnel and you're really going to need to have a strong offer on the front end because keep in mind that they're going to be giving their information in exchange for whatever that offer is so whether that's going to be a free quote whether that's a discount of some sort whether it's a strategy session i mean whatever whatever that's going to going to be you know you guys got to test out your offers and figure out what makes the most sense for you there what are your customers interested in but that is the general premise so just to kind of quickly recap if you're actually going to sell something online in the funnel the the sales transaction is going to take place in the funnel you have a flat fee type of service or fixed fee type of service then with that you want to use a product launch funnel or a service launch funnel okay if you need to quote the person if you need to diagnose them in any type of way if you need to see the thing before you can tell them the price to figure out the work then in that case you want to do a lead funnel there's not going to be a monetary exchange there's going to be an exchange of contact information in which you will then follow up with them on the phone to close the deal or get them on cider or set up a time for you to get on site and there you go that's pretty much it so again thanks for checking out this video if you enjoyed it it is super necessary that you like comment and subscribe plus turn on the notifications that way you can get updates every time i release new content related to sales funnels and how it can help you in your business and don't forget if you want to start messing around with funnels and implementing them in your business and giving them a shot there is a link in the description below where you can grab some free funnel templates the service that i use for that is click funnels i just think that it's the easiest one to use so if you already have an account then just upload them in there if you don't have an account you are going to get a 14 day free trial so you can start um you know using them and making some money right away and getting some new customers and stuff like that into your business so thanks again and until the next time peace
