this short video will guide royal credit union business online banking administrators through setting up a business user in business online banking it will also explain some of the business user management features a business user is another business online banking user who is authorized to access your business accounts to add a business user log into business online banking open the additional services menu and choose the manage users option select add a user and enter the user's name and contact information the phone number will be used to receive a security code at first login so it must be a direct number next set the user's access level for each of your business accounts you can set permissions for viewing balances viewing transaction history or making transfers on individual business accounts like the my accounts screen in business online banking you can switch between different business units using a drop down menu you can also set access to bill pay the business mobile app remote deposit capture and online statement access once you choose save the business user will receive two automated emails with their temporary password and system generated username the business user will complete the same first-time login steps that administrators do to access business online banking their temporary password expires after a set number of days if the business user is not able to login during this time you will need to reset their password to set up additional business users repeat the same process you can use the select user to clone drop down menu on the add a user screen to copy another user's account permissions the permissions can be adjusted after copying making it easy to customize settings the manage user screen includes additional account service options for business users to temporarily suspend access change the grant access slider setting change the slider again to restore access the options menu provides more account management features you can easily show the business users account access and permissions for your records you can also change the business user's account access level or delete the user most importantly you can reset a business user's password or generate a temporary security code for their account login from this menu now you know how to manage business users in royal credit union's business online banking system these same features are also available in the royal business mobile app remember that we're here to help if you have any questions
