How to create outlook signature

- HubSpot lists are an essential tool for segmenting your contacts. And with active lists you can have HubSpot keep that segmentation up to date for you. (upbeat music) - [Male Announcer] Welcome to HubSpot Hacks, where we help you get more out of HubSpot. (upbeat music) - Most of us are used to managing lists of contacts. They help us segment out database, personalize our content, and zero in on one part of our target audience. But nobody wants to manage those list manually. With HubSpot active list HubSpot does all of that work for you. So let's dive in. Here we're on our contacts list screen. You can get here by going to contacts and lists. And right now we're going to create a new list. Click create list button and right away you have this option at the top, to have an active list or a static list. So it's active list by default, so we're gonna leave that alone. We're gonna go ahead and name our list, test 2. And now we get to add our filters. So the way the active lists work is at any time, when a contact matches the parameters of your filter, they get added to this list. And if they no longer match the parameters of that filter, they get removed from the list. So it keeps your list up to date at all times, regardless of how your contacts change. So we're going to create a list by contact properties today. So let's say we want to have a list by source. So we can say original source. And let's say we want to create a list of all of the contacts who came to us through organic search. So I'm gonna do that, and hit apply filters. So it's gonna pre-fill this with your contacts as you set up these filters. Let's say I don't just want contacts who came by organic source. I only want the contacts who came to us recently through organic search. So I'm gonna do create a date. And I'm gonna do after, let's say after January 1st, 2019. So now, all the contacts who meet this filter will come to us through organic search and they were created after January 1st, 2019. So this basically is a list of all of the contacts that have come in through organic search this year. And as new contacts come in, they'll be added to this list. I could also do an or list. Let's say I want anybody whose come in through organic search this year or pick a different source let's say, or they came in through paid search anytime. So now I've got recent organic contacts, and anybody that's come in through paid search ever. So if they meet these filters, or this one, they'll be added to the list. Once you have all of your filters set up, you can hit save, and it'll give you this message here where this list is being processed. If you go back to your lists it'll say zero for a while. So you can see you've got zero here. But once that list has been processed, the number of contacts that are in it will pop up here. And then you can use that list for sending emails to, creating custom views in your CRM. So really helpful to have these lists. One interesting use case for how you can use active lists, is actually to create a list of all of the contacts that came in through a certain campaign.
