I'm going to be running through the short form content onboarding process how to actually take on clients um once you've signed a client you know the onboarding form um you know what kind of process you need to give them Etc so uh let's jump into it right so let's say you've signed a short form content client you know you've gone on to the sales call which is the difficult part obviously you know you've had the appointment he said yes cool he's paid you the invoice now he's on the client how the do I onboard him okay so the onboarding process simply two Google Drive links one will be unalited and one will be the edited folder I know a lot of people say uh they don't know which kind of software to use um just stick with Google Drive edited unedited um works the best easy effective they can just download Banks done right branding preferences so this is in your form you know a lot of people skip over this but for a client to retain you they you they want you to know the vision of their brand right they want you to fully be aligned with the content they produce right so you know whether this is branding color where they're I know on Instagram that's quite popular having a specific branding color um where they want the b-roll style whether you know you know what's their preferred style asks like branding preferences right this is going to help with retaining your client for the next month as well because they're going to be like okay yeah no he won the extra mile you know he like asked about branding preferences preferences Etc um so this is definitely what you need to add into your onboarding form okay and then time zone right again people skip this right but when does schedule slash you know when client needs content sent over by because you might be in England you might be in America you might be in you know a third world country Etc and your time zones don't align with your client your client's going to wake up you know you're going to be asleep and he's not going to have any content okay you need to know which time though is it time zone he's in so you can plan for like okay he needs this content by X day he needs his content now um you know how can I deliver it to him now right so that's a few questions that you need to ask um or you need to get in your onboarding form um like I said you need to know when to actually schedule you know you know you don't want to miss um content with your client right the the form itself can be in I would always suggest a gold high level form so having uh the go high level CRM system but if you don't um if you can't afford the monthly payment for the CRM system just use Google form uh just make sure it's customized to your agency you know have it nice but if you um if you can do the go high level and have it automated I would heavily suggest doing that okay uh communication software with your client all right so once they've you know done the onboarding form Etc you need to get them into your communication software I'd always again recommend slack I think slack is the top dog and I even think in the client's eyes if you were to go into the client psychology he's going to be most happy with him in slack right because Slack's like it's like the top dog it's like the Nike if you will right of communication softwares for um online business right so even if you can't get the full version just get the free version of slack and that's going to work that's just going to work just as well right so once they've actually filled up the onboarding form you've got the two Google Drive links you understand their branding preferences you understand which time zone they're in um you know whether this is on Google form or the go high level form get them into your communication software as soon as possible and send a message how you know you're in um really working to really looking forward to working with you Etc right the last step that not many people actually talk about but it's hugely important I don't know why people don't talk about it is having a road map slash expectation sheet that you send over in the email with the slack invite with the onboarding form Etc okay you know this road map will just be you know thank them again for signing on show them who you are the founders of your company um show clear roadmap for the next 30 days and the expectations right no one actually builds out a proper roadmap expectation sheet for their client and the onboarding they don't even have an onboarding form they just send the two Google drivelines no guys remember every step of onboarding your clients signing your client he they're looking out for how professional you are in every metric okay so if you have the most professional communication software you know a really good roadmap they'll appreciate even if they don't give a right they'll just read it they don't care okay just having the roadmap having the expectation sheet they're gonna appreciate that and be like okay this is traits of a professional agency you know it's gonna when it comes to signing on again for the second month they're gonna be like oh but you know he you know their company seems really prestigious and even if you put a roadmap together right but you know this is important okay so the road map will just include you know thank them again for signing on you signed on for our short form content offer um really happy to have you on um show clear robot for the next 30 days the next 30 days we're gonna edit in this style uh we're going to distribute at this time um it's gonna be algorithm checked it's going to be you know all this just add it right even if it's not I'd suggest you obviously get good at the algorithm but even if at the moment if you're just not right um and then expectations we expect this many views by this day is going to start picking around around here um this is what you can expect Etc right so there's no false kind of Tendencies when it comes to you know the end result of your service okay so it needs to be all kind of um slick and moving well okay because I know a lot of people a bit not that they're confused about the onboarding form you know you're probably like okay yeah I understood all this but it's just a re to reaffirm um what you may already believe right it's about you know getting that onboarding form having the two Google Drive links asking about their branding preferences you know what time zone they're in getting them in the communication software you know building out your roadmap expectation sheets so you know the clients actually fills within your agency it feels like you know they're on you're onto something um better and he made a good choice people when they spend money like to be a reassured of how good their choice was okay so like I said this could be Google forms or they'll go high level form but make sure you've built on this onboarding process I'm just trying to give as much value as I can I know that you know you guys probably already know this but I just want to kind of reaffirm it to you and maybe giving you a little insight as well so that's the short form of content on boarding process um join the Discord server and join agency Network the new kind of community I've built I'm hoping to give value like this over there and um next one
