[Music] elimination this is Chad bowties coming to you with a drive to move your number today and today we're gonna pick up from where we left off in the last video and talking about sales and breakdown those three pieces of contact connect and clothes and start with contact in an effort to try to move your number in sales one piece of time the contact part is the initiation of the process and initiating any process tends to be the most difficult we're at a time right now where people don't like to be sold constantly because they're not always in a buying mood but we have to be able to at least ask the question to broach the subject on every opportunity but not do so in a pushy way we want the customer to be able to come back later when they are ready to buy and see us as the resource to come and have that conversation for a potential sale a couple days ago was at the mall and I was walking through one of the the major department stores and I had a lady come up to me and basically I was waiting for this hard sell can I help you what can I do for you what are you looking for winning reality I really didn't know what I was looking for I just was kind of killing some time but she came up to me and said hey my name is Janice if you need anything I'll be here to answer any questions that you have I thought that was a great opening because the reality is if I was in the selling mood I'll ask questions right away if I'm not in the selling mood I feel great that she didn't rush for me into something and make me feel bad or awkward because I didn't immediately have buying answers when I got ready to leave she made eye contact with me again and said hey when you're in when you're in the market to buy come ask me questions you know where I'm at and I remember her name and I remember the area and I know that if I go back into that area I'm gonna say Janice I remember you and here's what I'm looking for because she didn't pressure me she didn't she gave me space but she also was available and that's the tendencies that you have to have to get good contact you need to present yourself in a non-threatening way let the customer know that you are available and you are ready and you are willing but it's their choice and you give that person room to make that decision it works the same on the phone it works the same in an email program of selling where you just reach it out and say hey here's my name here's what I can provide and here's what I can do for you when you're ready when you're ready you let me know that doesn't mean we don't follow up that doesn't mean we don't check in again because again and are at the most inner workings of individuals they don't want to ask for help they don't want to ask the questions to seem needy but we can bring to them and say you don't have to ask me anything today but when you're ready you let me know then you check back and maybe you touch base and say hey so how you looking at this do you have any questions cuz I can help if you don't it's ok you know where I'm at so the key is what the contact component is making sure that you take the time to be open be available and have good conversation be receptive to the questions that they ask be intuitive to the questions that maybe they're not asking and do all these things in a way that's not pushy but allows the customer to make decisions on their own it's always best and you're gonna find as being part of our process is to help the customer feel that anything that happens was their decision they choose to do this it's something that they wanted to do and we're just here to help facilitate the process and that help of your contact and that's the first step in the sales process again we certainly appreciate you watching our videos please look in the descriptions below for our links to our Twitter to Facebook if you have a product or service that you're interested in improving to a higher degree look us up at Mynt industries comm would love to sit down I have a conversation ways to help your business improve thank you for watching again don't forget to subscribe share comment talk about scenarios it's work for you talk about some things that haven't worked for you and maybe we can have a good discussion with the people that watch our videos to help you move your number today and that's the key that's always team [Music]
