it's time to get online and get orders from people that don't actually know you you got to start getting orders from people that that that just like your brand like you like what you stand for and like your product instead of it just being like your family members or your friends because obviously there are going to be the ones that support you first but now it's time to break outside of that bubble it's time to get more people to support you even if they don't know you yeah all right so first when you're getting started make sure your products are on the website you need a website all right so i want to show if we can we're going to make sure we edit this video to put our website and show you all how clean our site is the pictures the photography you need a site that takes your customer from the beginning to the end on our live class yesterday and we were talking about friction i like that all right so you need to focus on the less friction possible meaning like if it takes 20 pages that your customer got to click on to get your product to their cart and check out nine times out of ten they gonna get off your site so try to make your site very very simple to where they could just click one page like like like what we do on our instagram we like to put our best sellers collection in our bio so instead of clicking on our website and you're on the home page we let you click right where all of the products are listed so that's less friction so you could put your product in the cart go to the checkout and then go from there it don't take long for you to buy a product from us right so you really want to have the least amount of pages and the least amount of clicks for your customer so they don't just get bored or get distracted and get off your site right make sure you have clean cut funds make sure i like to keep the site just black i mean just white background not black black is sometimes hard to read hard hard to see your photos so a white clean site with photography your mock-ups try to keep it very very simple and that's ways that you can actually boost your conversion rate on your website all right so let's not let's not get into social media all right so once you got your site because your site is important if you don't have your setup you could be doing all these things on social media you could be doing doing promotion you could be doing ads you could be doing whatever but there's nowhere where people can purchase your product when you sleep or when you don't have shirts in the back of your car you gotta be able to make money around the clock so this is that video that's teaching you how to make money while you sleep all right so your social media you remember the book contagious all right you gotta have social proof to get people that don't actually know you to go on your site and still purchase so with things that we used to do when we was only getting like five orders a day let's just say when we was getting five orders a day we'll save our order to the end of the week so we could have like 20 you know 25 packages and now we sit with 25 packages and we taking a picture and we putting it on the site and with that showing our followers is that other people are purchasing and buying from us so they like okay actually people is really ordering this product people is really getting their products shipped out and now they're like okay let me let me go try to give you all a chance and and see if it's something that i could buy so what we used to do when we was first getting started was a lot of things we were highlighted so if we was going out in the community and we was doing something by giving away t-shirts and stuff like that we'll make a post where we're showing people that we're giving away shirts that we out in the community doing things you just need to build up your social media so people can know that you're real like there's a lot of pages on instagram people don't want to buy from bots if you just posting mockups on your page if you just posting just go buy this shirt they're not going to be attracted to that and they're not going to want to support that if they don't know that it's somebody actually real behind that platform that's producing those products so what that's going to bring me into is content creation yep all right on the front end you need to create content that is more about the value of your brand and what you want to give to your customers instead of you telling them nine dollar shares go buy it you can't just be trying to sell it on price you got to sell it on a message in a why behind it you got to give them a reason to support your brand it's not just because the shirt is 5.99 or the shirt is 9.99 that they're going to want to buy that may be an incentive that maybe that may boost the conversion rate but really when you create content you want to focus on how are you giving the view of value right so if you go check out our instagram right now you literally could go scrolling on instagram and you could see every last single photo and you look at the caption there's no caption in there that we like 25 out of teas on the site for the next hour we're not doing that what we're doing is giving as much value as we can we're telling our story we we uh showing our newest hottest designs getting people hyped up we really getting them to engage when you create content you really want your followers and your supporters to engage with your content you want them to engage with your content so then when they go to your site or when they get in your email or your text list which i know marlin about about the talk about this next when they get into that database you will be able to start making sales on the back end instead of trying to make sales on the front end so talk about that mom yeah so uh going into the back end but first because one let's make sure that we like and subscribe to the channel run what's up get outside because uh get us to 30k because i'm about to give y'all a play i'm about to give y'all a play right now that's gonna guarantee you to get that 100 uh that 100 orders to your website all right so for us how we got a lot of orders first starting off was having high margin items low cost low cost and what i mean by that is a wristband only cost us three to five cents a key chain only cost us 10 and we will put that on our website and um give a free initial offer but they had to cover the shipping and with them covering the shipping uh we were able to pay for it to get shipped and we still had about two to three dollars worth of margin left that then covered the actual free item that we sent them and we maybe made a little money on it but at the end of the day our goal wasn't to get money it was to push out sales to get people to try our product to get people to see how fast we deliver it and then ultimately it was to get those people in our database because it's way cheaper to remarket to people in your database than it is to go out and get new customers hey i really want i really want to touch on what you said too about like like you just wanted them to get that experience i feel like what like just like with amazon what the day you got that first two day delivery you was like damn is really coming in two days so you was ready to continue to order keep order keep ordering because you knew it was guaranteed to come to you in two days right but with some sites that's just getting started and like small brands like us like we not fast we're not delivering the best quality we not but with us we like that's how we gonna continue to scale up and get thousands of thousands of orders because what we want to do is we want to focus on the experience from when to leave our warehouse to when they get to that customer and then that's what makes your database so valuable because all of those people have tested out your product they see that there's a real site that they ordering from and now when you continuously drop in new and new items it's not nothing for them to buy again yeah you become a trusted site yep you become a trusted site all right now we can
