in this video i'm going to be taking you through how to build an application page funnel that is great for high ticket offers and those things so let's dive into the screen now and i'm going to show you this exact funnel that i've used to help generate millions of dollars in sales for a particular company that i was working with at the time and this particular funnel uh is can be built in a number of different ways in terms of the quality of leads that you want coming through and i'm going to step you through that in just a moment when we dive into page number one but at a high level overview this is what happens so people come and hit the landing page from wherever you're driving traffic traffic from and then they opt in through that page once they've opted in then you go and you get them to complete an application so the landing page you might collect the their name and email maybe your phone number then on the application page you want to start collecting information to help you know that they're serious about doing work with you and so you can get them buying into the actual process as well these applications can be done in type form or anything like that there will be a percentage of people who drop off so for anyone who drops off then you want to follow them up with an email sequence uh also ideally an sms sequence or a phone call if you do collect their their phone number once people do go through and complete the application then they get the opportunity to book into your calendar so you want to sync up your calendar to have specific spots open for these types of calls but again there's going to be more people who drop off here so again you want to be following up following them up with email sms and phone call and then ideally the people go right through to the end and there's a thank you page which helps you show your brand a little bit more and to get them more involved in the community so if we dive into that right now this is basically what it looks like and this is the structure that we did for this particular company that we're building this funnel for and we'll bring in in probably somewhere between 100 200 leads per per month for them and we're filling up the calendars of about five or six sales people per month so it's a really great offer to actually do so a strategy session like this valued at 800 this is one of the ways that you can position this page the other way you can position the application page is more product specific so you've got more of a offer specific page like this one where people are really going to get something of super high value or you can go more product specific for people who are further down the funnel who are more product aware of what you sell and what you do and how you can help them and they'll also be much more highly qualified which means you should have higher conversion rates on the back end as well so for this example we're going to take a much broader approach thinking that you know you the more conversations you can have the better it probably is if you're just getting started and you may not have the rest of your marketing figured out for the more specific product ones yet but basically you know above the fold you just want to be making sure the biggest key takeaway of what they're going to be getting is above the fold so that it's very clear as soon as people log into this particular page and also you know try and like your time is limited so talking about how many spots are available each week and giving some real scarcity on how many are available it will always help as well so we want to litter these pages with a bunch of testimonials which you can do there explain to them exactly what they'll get when they book in their session uh plus you know ins what we did we would have like three core components of what this offer is and we will talk about those three things as here's what they get plus if they sign up this month then they'll also get um these extra bonuses on top of what they're already getting um and yeah just coming down like i said you want to show more proof that you'll actually know what you're talking about more testimonials um and all of that type of stuff so at the bottom then it's more of like who is this actually for you want to turn away people as much as you want to bring them towards you so we put them in the bullet points there make sure that they're serious about applying and then they click that button they'll fill out the form so like i said you can collect name email phone number we also collected the amount of revenue that they're doing in their business because that helps position us to send them to the right sales team and things like that when we first launched this particular offer off the back of a webinar so that's the that's another place that you can put this so you can do a webinar up front and then on the back end of that webinar um you would actually have an offer like this and i did a webinar funnel last week right where i was talking about this is the the next piece of that puzzle and when we actually did that webinar we generated like a hundred uh hundred and something count hundred and something bookings into the calendar for the sales team which was usually what we did over an entire month um however when we launched this particular offer to the for the first time it just blew up so it's a really great offer and then once they complete um signing in then uh they come to step two so step two is completing a questionnaire so um you just you know we put a little bit of an image up the top here tell us about your business a little bit of a an explanation of what they need to do and then you'll just insert your application form here so you could insert soda type form which is what we used also allows you to have to push the user data through so you can like pre-populate the username sorry the email address and their name if you do want to do some like custom coding and stuff um but yeah then we we implemented though the type form into there but you could also use google form and there's probably a ton of other ones so in the application page you want to figure out where they are you want to figure out their biggest pain points you want to figure out all of the information that you need to go into a sales call in order to convert them into being a customer once they complete that then they come to the next step which is booking into the actual calendar themselves when they're going if they're going to booking themselves and you know that they're highly qualified they're ready to have a conversation and um it's a really great great person to get on and jump on a call with so what we did we would embed a calendly form down here the good thing with calendly is you can have team calendars so you can you can have you know certain members of your team to get more of the phone calls you can do a round robin's type of style there's a lot of really great customizations that you can do within calendly that then connects you and your team to a calendar and people can book in whenever there are times available that you've set out and that you've scoped out and then once they do that they come through to the final thank you page so on the thank you page what i like to do is to recap everything that they're going to get so we would do that in these bullet points over here and then it's also a really good time to then build more intimacy about your brand because they're already bought into who you are so they don't really need more product specific types of things at this point but they want to know who who you are they want to know what your brand's about they want to know um what others feel about your brand and as well so if you can have a video in there that maybe highlights certain workshops that you've done or chose a bit of your personality or behind your team or the way that or what you stand for on the world then that's a really great video that you could put there and also you can push them through further into your community like a facebook group or something like that so that's basically the the gist of the funnel now there are quite a lot of back end type of things that you need to fix up in this particular funnel because like i said there's going to be a drop off at each point so when they hit the landing page there's only going to be a certain amount of people that drop off that that actually sign up so there's a big drop off at that point which means you need probably retargeting ads and so forth once they get to the next stage then there's going to be a bigger drop-off again so that you you say you need to have sort of like maybe two or three emails that follow them up say hey you know notice that you um you got to this page but you didn't fill out the application um you know is there anything i can do to help you out blah blah so it does require a little bit of technical know-how in the back end and if you in and connecting your email automation service to that if you do need help with that maybe it's best to just hire someone to help plan that out for you but it can absolutely be done we use when we're doing this we're using pardot which is like a connecting email service for salesforce and part is very limited in what you can and can't do but if you're using
