[Music] hello everyone here's a quick demo of Hermes which is a document management tool here's the homies dashboard with a variety of options you can create a document you can see recently viewed documents and latest updates let's start by creating a document draft so you can choose from a variety of templates here we are creating a RFC document draft IFC stands for request for comments and if you'd like to learn more about how we use rfcs please visit our writing practices and culture page linked below now let's enter title for your draft enter summary and select a product or area Burmese we'll now create a document draft using an existing template in this case an RFC template a document draft is created and we can continue to the dock we can now explore the metadata of the document on the sidebar or using the document header to explore all your document graphs you can go to the my drafts tab here you'll see a list of all your document drafts in this case we'll select my first document again and we are back in our document let's request a review for this document you can search for approvers just by typing the email addresses we'll select an email address and requested review Hermes emails the approvers and lets them know that there is a review that's been requested at this point the document status is in review which also means it's been published next let's look at the my docs tab this gives you the list of all your documents their types the statuses the product area and when they were created you can also go to the all docs view that shows you all the documents that are published you can also filter documents by status for example we selected obsolete it shows you the list of all obsolete documents you can also sort documents by the newest or oldest let's look at searching documents in Hermes you can search for documents using the search bar Her Image offers full text search powered by algolia this allows you to search that not only the document titles or summaries but also the content of the document let's look at more search options here you may choose to view all homies test documents which is a product or area you get a list of documents and some filter options you may also choose to view all results for your search query let's look at archiving a document using Hermes let's go to my docs and select a document to Archive in the sidebar you can select the archive button you can select the yes archive option this will change the document status to obsolete these were some of the features that Hermes has to offer for more information please visit the Hermes GitHub repository thank you [Music] [Music]
