will download here it is and here you will go v tiger 7 download vtiger7 and download vtiger open source these are three options you forgot if you're already using previous versions so you can do that but i'll be mainly downloading this one this is the source it will start the download from sourceforge and the second file that i'll be downloading will be the customer portal in case you want to have that i'll be downloading that so what are the steps involved here we need to have our web hosting you can have free web hosting using aa panel oracle cloud infrastructure is providing a free cloud infrastructure where you can have vms and storage available for free i have provided all the details of oracle cloud infrastructure this will be hassle free you can have your cloud infrastructure ready if you're already having a website you can create a subdomain for your website and that subdomain can be pointed to your web server i have created a subdomain called vtiger.syncprix.com as you can see here this is the subdomain that i have created and right now nothing is hosted here so i'll be creating now a website inside my web host so i'll be defining here we tiger.syncrx.com and it will be v tiger crm and i'll apply the ssl also and i'll apply the https we should have the php version 7.4 but i have seen it sometimes it did not work with 7.4 let me create this first so subdomain is already created let it create the website we'll wait for this process to complete it has successfully completed the process now if i refresh this page it will show me nginx default page which means that my website is now ready so we'll go to websites here and we'll see here vtiger.syncfx it is using 7.4 in some of the cases v tiger 7.4 did not work well with php 7.4 that's why i'm using php 7.3 to run v tiger 7.4 now we'll be uploading the v tiger 7.4 which we downloaded from the sourceforge website just click on upload there's v tiger and upload just unzip here and here you can see v tiger crm is here i'll be just going back to website and i'll be changing the site directory and choose the site directory to v tiger crm this will be my site directory and click on save to refresh the page okay here is the installation wizard which will run now so click on and it will show you the welcome and license agreement click on i agree okay here are the prerequisites which are required for the v tiger modules are already available and these three errors needs to be checked here so recommended php setting is display error should be off it is turned on log errors should be off it is on and short open tag should be off it is on so we'll be going to php setting and we will look for these and we'll change this settings here so my php setting is here we'll go to configuration and look for the display errors which should be off and then a short open tags so short open tag is on i'll turn it off now we will refresh this again and then we will see log underscore error is equal to so log errors is on so i'll be turning it to off so we'll save it reload the configuration and let us refresh this again now you can see all the errors have disappeared here and v tiger installation wizard is ready we'll click next now one important thing to mention here is that we need to create a database here so we can either create with the universal user id and password but i'll be just going back to here and create the database i'll be creating a database called vtiger eb and it's user will be reticle user and i'll save this to notepad here so db is v tigerdb user is v tiger user and here is password and just submit this now the database is created so we'll just enter these credentials here so localhost host will be hostname or you can have the ip address whatever ip address is there so username is we tiger user let's copy this password here and the database name type in here [Music] click next and this is my admin details click next so the type of industry could be anything that you want so i'll be installing it for for example retail and warehouse will retail and wholesale and now it has started the installation will wait for the wizard to continue okay these are all the modules which are available contact management is definitely the module that any crm system should have so contact management is by default available if you want to have complete sales automation so you can have that as well marketing automation or bulk email and send individual targeted email you can have that as well support project management invoicing so we'll start with the contact management first and we can add these modules one by one later as well so we'll continue with the contact management and next and here is my base currency i can change it the base currency to money rails goes and all
