How to create outlook signature
2023 and you are on the lookout for a new personal CRM I've been reviewing personal crms for the past two years and I will do so again this year specifically this year I'm going to focus on paying personal crms no free stuff only paid and there are two big reasons for this first I don't personally believe that any personal CRM can survive without charging their customers the only way to do so would mean that they're somehow selling data or raising tons of money or something else that is not a good sign for any sustainable business the second reason is that comparisons between different apps and their different pricing plans are very complex some app might have a nicer free plan some app might have a nicer paid plan and how do you compare those so for this year we're going to specifically look at their most expensive pro premium paid whatever plan first I'll start with nat.app which is the app I am developing with a friend since many years that app is built specifically for Gmail users so if you use Outlook or you want something that really integrates with WhatsApp or LinkedIn or iMessage Then That app is simply not for you but if you're someone who uses Gmail and Google Calendar a lot and that's where most of your interactions are Then That app is the perfect fit for you the app does one simple thing once you connect your data it will suggest contacts you should add to your NetApp contact book those are the people you care about and want to stay in touch with now that will suggest those based on how often you talk to these contacts if you had meetings recently and so on and once you've added them to NetApp they will be displayed either as not in touch losing touch or in touch then our customers can super easily either snooze a contact if actually they don't need to reach back out or send an email straight from the App log some notes if relevant or log an interaction if something happened but it was outside of Gmail let's say you talked on WhatsApp or let's say you actually met for a coffee and it was not in your calendar stuff like this in 2022 we added one new feature which is the follow-up feature you know all those emails you send out and you really need a response but once it's sent out you forget about them which represents pretty much all of your emails well NetApp now collects those and lets you know if you've sent an email that has not been responded to obviously NetApp only does this for the contacts you care about then you can just click click click and follow up with those contacts using a pre-written template netapp's most expensive paid plan is current Lee at 39 a month and includes all the Integrations all the features check it out if you're curious next we have Dex Dex has gone crazy in 2022 they shipped so many features it's unbelievable and afterwards I realized this is because they are doing a crowdfunding so from December to January 2023 they reached out to all their users customers Network and offered to sell parts of their company during this crowdfunding we also learned a lot about the company metrics such as how many paying customers they have around a thousand five hundred how much money they're making around 200 000 a year and what their plans are for the future feature wise Dex is officially the personal CRM Powerhouse they have the most features of all the apps presented here today you can import your data from LinkedIn Facebook Gmail Google Calendar and many more I must for sure be missing but that's where the easy part ends Dex still relies on their customers manually labeling their contacts to figure out what to do for example they have a kanban board where you can drag and drop your contacts into different keeping touch frequencies Dex also released a map and a network view so that you can see where on the world your contacts are based and which contacts are related to which other contacts obviously these features require you to label the data before so the app needs to know where your contacts are living and who they're related to in order to fill that data so I would look at decks in the following way if you are really willing to spend a few days and set up the system download their mobile apps make sure your LinkedIn Facebook Gmail Google Contacts and Google Calendar integrated and then just spending a weekend and maybe a little bit more going through all your contacts labeling them properly setting up frequencies for when you want to reach back out and so forth then Dex is a really good option to explore because once you've done all of that it's a really cool app I mean I would really dream of having this net Network view of my my contacts and seeing who knows whom and so on but I'm not willing to spend the days it will require to label all of that data pricing wise tax charges 20 a month for their Premium plan now let's talk about clay if you typed personal CRM in Twitter clay has shown up it is the personal CRM people talk about most and while I still don't totally get why I'll try to build a case Dex has really focused on being the perfect app for the San Francisco startup type guy who is very well networked has raised a lot of money has a lot of friends in the press and so on their features include stuff like letting you know when a friend of yours is appearing in the Press letting you know when a Twitter bio changes for a contact of yours and other nice to have things such as data enrichment importing your contact CV from LinkedIn and so on but unfortunately for most of us this doesn't really correspond to who we are and the kind of leads we're living we aren't on these super sexy VIP people and yet we still want an app to help us stay in touch with our average Network and Clay unfortunately is really bad at this uh the first thing is that they just import all of your contacts and then just ask you to review all of them so that's a thousand people you suddenly have to go through luckily there is a button to just review all of them automatically and while they do have a button now where you can just tell clay you know what figure out for me when I need to reach back out you still have to go through all the contacts and tell clay tell me automatically when I need to reach back out pricing wise clay has made my life very hard because unless you want their Pro Plan which really has no additional features their free plan now offers everything so even though I want to review paid plans only Clay is free which might sound like a good thing but I don't think it is the only reason to move from Pro to a free plan only is that you're trying to grow that you're trying to get more active users and all the people who are not willing to pay before well now they can sign up so you might get more customers that way but you still make new money which is the way a business survives and so what this means is that Clay is looking to grow their user base in order to very likely raise more money later on and if they're unable to raise more then it's not looking good for clay finally we have q q is an iPhone only app that has a very basic set of features but for some of you it's going to be exactly what you need since 2022 clay also connects with your calendar data so on top of just integrating with your contact book you can now import contacts that you had meetings with and once you've set up the Cadence at which you want to be reminded about a certain contact Q will check in your calendar if you had a meeting with that person recently and if you did then it will automatically consider that you reconnected with that person pricing wise Q is at 8.5 dollars a month so it's the cheapest paid personal CRM that I'm presenting today and from my perspective it seems like the best solution if you want to keep track of 20 30 maybe 50 people in an easy way and manually setting up reminders is not a problem for you so all in all at the personal CRM space it's going strong we have these cool apps that work well that focus on different niches we have NetApp for the really Gmail users we have decks for the crazy people who really want to put a lot of data and really have everything about their contacts in one app we have Clay for the San Francisco VIP guys and girls and we have q for the iPhone user who wants something manual and easy to set up check them out and let me know which one is your favorite thanks for watching and have a good one bye
