hi Christopher Maytag from a healthy oh hi Kristin this is Lauren from Real Simple magazine how are you today I'm actually really busy right now can I help you something I was wondering if you received my email I sent a couple days ago yeah I did but no friends I usually just delete things like that we're pretty happy with our current advertising I completely understand is it possible to set up a meeting with you to maybe go over a few things just through your word opportunity you could have working with real simple magazine I'm not really looking into doing any more advertising right now I think real simple would be a great investment for Maytag if you have any time I would love to show you how your company could benefit from this my schedule is pretty flexible is there any time it would work for you this week all right I guess I'll see what you that I have about 15 minutes between meetings tomorrow around noon but like I said we're not really looking into doing anything right now okay well look forward to meeting you see you I know tomorrow all right sounds good man hi I'm Lauren from real simple Addison nice to meet you the Christmas decorations look great is that a cinnamon apple candle it's my favorite it's my hair at the top of the year too and I just wanted to ask did you get the email I sent over with all the information for you to look at through it honestly with the holidays and everything I can't even think about fixing my budget right now or changing it or I understand you're busy but I just wanted to ask you what's your current view on the advertising you're doing now and who you're advertising month most part now I'm pretty happy with everything better home garden and yoga magazine to reach a demographic of women ages 35 to 50 but I haven't noticed some some clutter but I mean it's working so far so I all right those magazines do have a similar target with our real simple and your demographic but clutter that's a pretty big concern if you want to take a look at this real simple magazine there's a no washer/dryers advertise here so the clutter will not be a problem this means you notice the pages are bigger than a lot of other magazines I've seen I mean this seems like something or a demographic we look at but I'm seeing some hesitation is there something specific or I don't know I just I don't really have enough information to back this up or why I should use it or how it could benefit Maytag washers and dryers I'm glad you asked as I said our target markets work really well together and I'm not sure if you want to talk numbers right now but our magazine does have an eight point eight million readership and it's constantly growing as you pointed out our magazine is two haploid sighs so it's larger than the ad that you'll be placing currently and the theme does change every month so you can place your ad where it fits your product best all right another thing I'm concerned with is that our target market is working women and they're both providers and nurtures for the families so I'm even off using the transit down to every magazine we have the exact same market one may think that these women don't have time to read was too sick show that the average time spent reading this magazine is 46 minutes okay well I don't know how the person compares to what we have now everything that we have so far should be efficient and I don't really have the time to fidget with my budget or figured our UNAM since you do seem to be happy with the ads you're currently running what's the size you're using well like I said I don't even know if I wanted to make an investment with you but currently we're using full-page ads so it would be something along those lines where do you guys stand with pricing all right the pricing is um pretty comparable to them what you're running now a little bit higher and but the one thing is that the clutter factor would be completely absolutely and a full-page ad in real simple is one hundred and sixty four thousand eight hundred dollars budget right now I understand I don't know what you're currently have going but with this I could also give you an online ad this would work awesome with your current market um well actually I have been looking at the going online on I was doing some research today and found that our target market 64 percent of it is tech savvy and goes online one or more times per day but I don't know if it's exactly what I'm looking for if I'm going to be increasing my spending like that I kind of want more bang for my buck bang for your buck is exactly what you'll be getting with this for one hundred and sixty four thousand eight hundred dollars you will get a full size tabloid ad amazing color in photography and AD online which is something you've been wanting to dabble in and I can guarantee your ad will be in an issue that is relevant to your product for example last May it was clean all right I think you're onto something our contract is almost anyways and with the new year it might be good might be nice to have a fresh start bottom I remember to get going to my meeting well they wanted something typed up and sent over by the end of the afternoon and since you're trying something new how does a one-year contract sound all right sounds great write something up for me and I'll be taking care of by the end of the day all right thank you for your business so I'll be in touch thank you hi Christopher Maytag hi Kristin its Lauren how are you oh pretty good Saturday yeah I wasn't expecting to catch you on a Saturday but I just wanted to let you know our magazine has a couple extra tickets to the Mannheim Steamroller concert for next weekend and I wanted to offer them to you if you like them I know it's your favorite time of the year yeah that would be great all right well I can stop by sometime today since you're here if that will work for you what time are you going to be there - I'm going to try to get out of here by 11:00 all right I'll stop by sometime before okay sounds good hi oh god here's the ticket my husband will love these yeah while I was here I wanted to ask you how do you like to turn out of the ads and everything so far so good I like photography and etcher I love the tabloid size and like you said I haven't seen any ads for washer/dryer so yeah and I also really like the online advertising we've been getting a lot of traffic from that so being next time we can look into doing more of that yeah definitely that's definitely an option we can set something up after the holidays so furthering your next year's budget and fit something in there yeah that would be great you'll enjoy the concert thank you
