What is a pipeline in software?
In software engineering, a pipeline consists of a chain of processing elements (processes, threads, coroutines, functions, etc.), arranged so that the output of each element is the input of the next. The concept is analogous to a physical pipeline. um so just as a quick introduction to us um hopefully some some of you know us already and we know you um so with daed and low um we help suppliers uh grow the business through public sector tendering uh strategy and consultancy support um so part of this um a big part of this over the years has been um offering suppliers a way to easily find relevant opportunities in the public sector um um and build bid pipelines as well so this is where our attended pipeline comes in um so my name is Adam I'm prur Solutions manager um I'm going to be running the webinar um I've also got Dave and Chris as well Dave is um our managing director um who's going to be um uh working with me to answer some of your questions later as well um so the good news is the majority of the webinar will be a live demonstration I'm not going to not going to drone on forever um and we'll we'll use some practical examples on how to get the best out of the solution um we'll run through how to use the system to do live searches of course um searches for live tenders um but we're also going to go through the new feature we've added which we're calling tender pipeline premium um which allows you to create a bid pipeline uh in seconds so um so just briefly um before we go into the demonstration very quickly um at a high level what is what is tender pipeline so basically tender pipeline is a free Tool uh which collects public sector supply chain data um in terms of the context for our business we don't tend to use this as a source of income generation really uh it's purely self-funded and it helps us keep an eye on the opportunity landscape for our clients um we especially use it to track um public sector Frameworks um due to the importance of these types of opportunities for our clients a lot of our clients have looking for those um for those Frameworks which are which onboard multiple suppliers um and a good way into the public sector um it's an easy to use tool really um allowing you to search for live tenders um develop a bid Pipeline and also understand who's winning contracts and Frameworks in your sector which is something we're going to go into um the additional feature tender pipeline premium is the first paid feature we've introduced um this allows you to download data related to live contracts and awarded contracts in your sector um so that links uh a bit more closely to bid pipeline planning and buer engagement which is uh something we're going to go through very shortly um so just to briefly touch upon um the benefits of using tender pipeline for suppliers um and suppliers as well particularly obviously there's a there's the live search element um and the importance of of not missing the bult with key opportunities um especially with the ability to set up tender alerts uh tender pipelines giving you visibility of those opportunities as they arise um but almost um more importantly really uh we believe that success in the public sector is is more than just putting in the most advantageous tender um so we also believe that relationship building and buyer engagement is key as well um to make sure you're an established name in the sector before you go into those tender exercises um and we'll explain how tender pipeline can support with that um another really clear benefit is also with the importance of Frameworks now in the public sector um it does allow you to just understand what Frameworks are out there and which can be corporated in t bid pipeline um and just briefly um just to Briefly summarize as well there's there's a there's a use of tender pipeline for for buyers and Contracting authorities as well uh so we do find that buyers can use tender P point to support their own tender process so um they can use our awarded tenders tab to search for contract Awards um so they can identify whether there are suitable contractors out there um in the sector um they can see what the skill level is and what the expertise level is uh in their sector um and that's hopefully then allowing them to to do an informed Market engagement exercise and support their options appraisal as well um so um very close to going into the uh demonstration but just to briefly touch upon bid pipelines so you might be thinking why do I actually need a bid pipeline why can't I just look for um opportunities as they arise and then and then bid um for real opportunities well basically a bid pipeline what is a bid pipeline so you could just call it it an organized approach essentially to identifying uh listing and tracking um and then also strategically planning for future tender opportunities in the public sector um we're going to be focused on both contracts and Frameworks today um so essentially the benefit of this is we're avoiding a reactive approach to bidding um we're enabling the business planning that needs to go into it first uh and we're understanding the opportunity landscape um and we've got time if we're doing the bid Pipeline and the planning to undertake focused relationship building uh and sales and marketing hopefully as well before we bid um so this is why we think B pipeline development is is crucial um and with that said I'm going to go straight into the tender pipeline demonstration so you you just give me uh few seconds and we'll load up 10 peline for us it's going to take a second while um so obviously the first step with tender pipeline is um we need to log in using our login details um if you don't already have login details um you just need to go to our website to create an account a free account on tender pipeline um so what I'm going to do now is I'm going to do a live uh demonstration of tender pipeline itself um go through some of the key features and how to optimize it really to get the best use out of it um so obviously we'll cover the free aspects of tender Pipeline and then a bit later on we'll get to the downloads feature and how that links into creating a bid pipeline um so this this page here might might look familiar to you um what I'm going to do first is I'm just going to show you how to do a very basic live search um so this is this is a fairly Straight live search for for live tenders um I mean here so this is a fairly straightforward process on tender pipeline um but the key with this is to make sure you find opportunities that are relevant for you uh you need to get the search right in the first instance and um whilst I wouldn't say it's complex it does need a bit of tinkering and refining um to make sure you understand what you're getting based on the search terms that you're using so what I'm going to do first is do a very basic search um and then use that as an example of why we might want to refine that search to get um a better result um so I'm going to use some sort of hypothetical examples throughout the demonstration to um to Showcase some of the features so let's say for example I'm a cleaning company um in the UK based in the UK let's say I maybe I clean offices maybe I clean schools um and maybe at this point I don't know exactly what I'm looking for um but I know that I'm looking for cleaning contracts in the UK so all I'm going to do here is search cleaning contracts and uh UK just to make sure we don't get any opportunities outside in UK so um what does that give me first of all well it gives me um a host of live opportunities uh with live deadlines uh we can see that there's a mix of um single award contracts uh if we scroll down a little bit we can see a framework here uh with the NHS supply chain um and towards the bottom and I know there's some on the next page as well we're also getting some marketing some Market pre-market engagement opportunities uh which come before the tend apprach process um so let's say we've done this um and this opportunity here catches our eye it looks potentially relevant to us all we need to do is Click into this opportunity and we get more insight and detail into the opportunity so we can meet we can see that the buyer is the forestry commission um we can also see which is good for us because maybe we're anme um it says this contract may be suful for smmes um and then if we scroll down we get a an information sheet for the opportunity so we get um a description of the contract also um contract value uh breakdown of the Lots in some cases um the contract period and then if we scroll to um the bottom of the opportunity we will get uh importantly a link to the source um so this will all this will always be a finder tender finder um a public contract Scotland but what we can then do is um follow the source to um the the location of the actual tender opportunity and a link to the portal and the tender documentation uh if we're interested in this opportunity um so um that's all that's all well and good but if we go back to our basic search um let's have a bit of a double take actually of what we've actually got here um so we looked at that one that might be of interest to us but then we also noticed that we've got opportunities like this um so this says it's a contract for uh responsive repairs maintenance and avoid service for housing in the city of London um so if we're coming to this as a as cleaning company and we're fairly new to Tender pipeline uh we might be thinking why on Earth has this been flagged in our search um so the key thing to be aware of is um obviously because we've used the key word cleaning contracts which is fine um but because this um because this contract mentions cleaning in the contract description uh this has been flagged as part of our search but obviously all we need to do is do a big of do a bit of digging to see that this isn't uh necessarily relevant to us it's clearly linked to a different industry cpv Cod uh for repair and maintenance services um so this is where we need to start refining our search essentially so all I'm going to do is go back to um my simple search and then I'm going to open advanced options um so it may look scary at first but it's it's a simple process so what do I need to do I need to start using the industry cpv codes um to get something that resembles what I'm looking for so um it does help it does help to know the cpv code link to your industry but I don't necessarily need to know that I can start typing um and tender pipeline will give me um cpv C cleaning services here which is what I want so by clicking to this um I can now see um that those nonrelevant opportunities that I flagged earlier uh have now disappeared obviously there was the repair and maintenance one um there were some others as well but that didn't look relevant to me um and I'm now just getting uh cleaning Services contracts that are that are hopefully more relevant to me um so let's say I'm satisfied with that it's given me um opportunities I might want to bid for um do I want to come back to this page every day and keep doing the search well not necessarily um what I can do here is um use the tender alert function tender pipeline to create tender alert um what shall I call it let's just call it contracts um and then all I need to do is save my alert which gets saved there and what I will then get is a daily update from tender pipeline to confirm any new opportunities any new tender opportunities in the public sector um that are linked to my search and linked to the cpv code now um so that's one way of defining your search but let's say uh we've got a bit of confidence now and we think we might be able to refine our search further so um let's say we've got a window cleaning branch of our company or maybe we actually primarily deliver window cleaning as uh as a business that's our key service um I'll come back to how we might be able to use um keywords but um for now again all we need to do is type um window cleaning services uh select the cbv code and now I can see that I'm getting um specifically window cleaning services there's one here uh some here with live deadlines there's a um there's a framework or two and there's some single award contracts for those types of contracts so what I would then do is create a second tender alert um to give me a separate alert for window cing opportunities um if I'm happy that that's um flagging relevant opportunities to me um another option is um what I could potentially do is let's say um we' flagged this as potentially relevant to us so let's go into this opportunity here so this is a a live contract for cleaning services uh with the deadline of the 19th of July I one of the things I can do to gain more knowledge and gain more confidence with refining the searches I can just look at I can find an opportunity that's relevant to me and look at what cpv codes it's linked up to um so let's say I now notice that oh there's actually a cpv code for uh accommodation cing Services um and basically what I do is uh clean an accommodation um or maybe it's just maybe it's cleaning buildings in general um what I could then do is just follow the cpv code through to live tenders again just search UK um and I'm getting accommodation between Ser service results which I can then put into a separate alert um and again get another alert uh related to a very refined um and specific search for my business hopefully um we can also play around with keyword so let's just go back to our um cleaning services um let's say we take out cleaning from the um keyword let's say we primarily clean offices um so let's just search for office cleaning and see see so we can clearly see that using keywords as well does um does have a good effect we're getting these live opportunities linked to office cleaning services now as well um I have the option to download that content to have that in a nice easy Excel file to to work through but I'm going to come back to the download function um obviously in the context of award attenders a bit later um so that's the live search element for live tenders um what I'm going to just briefly show you is another another quite cool aspect of tender pipeline so um let's go back to this example that we found earlier for example um so let's say again I'm looking at this and I'm weighing up where whether I want to go for this um and I need to do something like a bid no bid process to weigh up um whether I'm likely to be successful with this opportunity uh whether I should put my resources and time and effort into bidding for this what I can do is a bit of buyer Insight using T pipeline um so all I need to do is Click into the buyer for this opportunity is Bridgewater Housing Association so if I click into this what I need to do is switch from live tenders to awarded tenders um and then this is great this is giv me insight into the buyer um it's given me a list in day order of the uh contracts they've awarded um the contracts and Frameworks they've awarded and it's given me details of who the who won those contracts so what can I judge based on that well I might be able to do a bit of digging into whether they're a buyer who tends to award contracts toes for example uh or whether the they're a buyer that tends to award contracts to to larger um suppliers or whether they tend to have a favored supplier um in particular sector for example um and again I can use alerts if I want to and I can use down downloads um if I want to um but that is a cool aspect of tender pipeline it's giving you some quick and easy buyer insight there um so the the only other aspect of the of the live search to touch upon really is uh DPS agreements so these are Dynamic purchasing systems so some of you may know what these are um I think that the name for these might change a little a bit with the the new procurement acts but essentially these are like Frameworks that approve supply lists in the public sector but they tend to be um a bit more flexible than Frameworks they can um often be open for applic throughout the uh throughout the contract period um or they reopen certain amount of times for applications um these don't necessarily well they don't guarantee you work but um it can just be a way to get your foot in the door with public sector um so obviously the process is is the same really but I'll add um I'll add something new into this example so um I know for example that Dynamic purchasing systems are popular in the healthcare sector so let's say um I'm a cur provider um I'm in the UK I've got the DPS in there I might not use keywords for now um what I am going to do is plug in the right cpv code for Health and Social Work Services um but let's say I don't have much much time here and I know that I want to specifically work with the NHS and I want to get on a a DPS with the NHS um what I'm going to do is then plug in uh NHS here and I'm just going to enter quickly here and then I've immediately got some really good um DPS opportunities with the NHS NHS trusts here so we' got a clinical coding DPS um Mental Health Services DPS um thankfully it's given me the um it's given me the deadlines in red here um now as you're navigating tender pipeline you might not always find that the the deadline shows in this column um it does depend on whether the source data that we've pulled in has that um within the source but all it needs is a bit of digging to to to get to the deadline once you click into the opportunity um and again let's say say I'm happy with that and I want to be alerted for future opportunities I'm just going to create um another another tender for that save um so um that's the that's the DPS uh agreement aspect of it um and with that we kind of covered the um the live tender search element um so obviously that's that's great to be fair um we're getting live tender opportunities or we're getting the pre-engagement notices um it's all good information uh we might decide to bid based on our bid no bid process but crucially with these live opportunities um we we've probably not prepared 100% for these opportunities um it might just be coming onto our radar now with a few weeks to go for example um it probably also means that we've not done the um relationship building and engagement with the with the buyers necessarily um it might not be something we've actually strategically uh planned for necessarily so in terms is actually developing a bid pipeline then um a pipeline that links to the benefits I was discussing earlier about buyer engagement and giving you time to strategically prepare this is where we need to go to the award attenders tab um within within turn pipeline um I'm going to get rid of these Search terms for now so I can start fresh with an example um but what can we do here so the first thing is we're going to look at how to do a bit of competitor analysis again still using the fre aspect of 10 pipeline um but then we're going to do some downloading of data um to give us a bit Pipeline and then we'll go through what we get as part of that um so the first thing I'm going to show is how to do a bit of competitor analysis just going to take some water um so I'm going to pick um typically busy industry as an example Grounds Maintenance let's say I'm a grounds maintenance company um in the UK um and I what I want is some insight into maybe I've put in bids before and I've not been successful um or maybe I'm just not aware of what's out there um so what I want to do is get a bit of insight into um actually I'm not going to use the keyword for now but let's just plug in UK um I want to get a bit of insight into who's winning contracts uh and Frameworks in the sector uh and I want insight into who's rewarding those contracts as well um so I'm going to plug in uh Grounds Maintenance as a cpv code um what I will do is actually I will use a uh keyword to to just focus the search make sure you're spelling your keywords right um so what does this what does this give us well but just to confirm before I go into that I'm not limit I'm not going to limit this by winner name for now because I want a broad view of uh who my competitors are potentially um and I'm not going to necessarily I may have a region in mind where I want to deliver um grounds maintenance services but um I might find that some of the authorities or bu buers who are awarding Frameworks in my region and not necessarily based in my region so I'm just going to keep it UK for now um what does that search given me well um again it gives me some really good insight into what's going on um in the sector here so again I've got a list uh in day order of the awarded contracts in the grounds maintenance sector uh in the industry sorry and um I've got details of who's who's winning these contracts here um so I can see there's a there's a mix of opportunities um there a framework here um some single award contracts at DPS as well um and I'm getting with the winner name I know who is winning those contracts and with a bit of digging after that I might be able to um do some digging into why they're winning those contracts and maybe why I'm not winning contracts um do a bit of a SWAT analysis against my competitors um what I can also do here um is let's say I'm looking through these this list and I notice a specific competitor who I know as a competitor let's just pick one um as an example um so I've got a winner name here for a specific company um if I click into this it will take me to the tender opportunity but I just need to click again um into the winner and obviously none of this at the moment is is important because I just need to look at this winner name here so what am I now getting I'm getting a more Focus list which purely shows me uh the contracts and Frameworks this potential competitor has won so let's say I'm scrolling through this and I come across this amenity Green Green Space framework um I may be thinking there's loads of contractors on this framework um why am I not on this framework um when is it next coming up what do I need to do to make sure I'm ready to build um when it next comes around um what I what I also may start um being able to do is um I can do a bit of digging into if I click into some of these opportunities I can look at when the Frameworks were awarded um and obviously for some of these I don't have the render date in this column but um I can extrapolate based on the length of some of these Frameworks um to judge when the framework is coming to an end um and I know um I may be able to work out um when I need to be when I need to be ready and what I need to do in the meantime um now the thing to notice is uh if we go down to the bottom here there's there's obviously quite a few entries here I don't want to necessarily be scrolling through all of this um so what I would recommend doing is obviously using the download feature now um to download this data but um I am going to go into tender pipeline premium now and building a big pipeline but uh what I am going to do is I'm just going to base it on a more broad search uh rather than going into a specific company so let's um stick with Grounds Maintenance so I'm going to use the key word um again I don't want opportunities that are outside the UK I'm going to use the cbv code and I don't want to limit it to specific windows at the moment I want a broad view um of what's going on in the sector for my bid pipeline um so um this is where tender pipeline premium comes in and the ability to download this data um so just as a brief overview all the aspects of tender Pi line we've been through so far a free uh this is the first chargeable function we've introduced and we TR to keep this um as affordable as affordable as affordable as possible sorry so um there's a couple of different options with this um option one uh gives you 24hour access um and that's 75 pounds plus vat um there is an option to uh which is 195 plus V8 uh that gives you 12 months of access and basically you can do as many searches and downloads uh as you want in that time um so what I'm going to do is really simple I just click download um and what does that give us well this gives us an Excel sheet now so I'm going to bring up um the bid pipeline element of the uh webinar uh what I'm going to do is I'm going to bring up one I've tided up slightly earlier but um this will give you a a view of what you will be getting with this with the download so um hopefully we can all can all see that on our screens so I've used a download feature um and instantly that's given me um data which can be fed into my trm for example uh it can be used as a lead generation sheet um and is essentially your is essentially your bid pipeline so let's have a look at what we've got here so the first thing that really interests me here is this column here column a um so what I can do here is um let's say I am looking for Frameworks um and for now I just want to look at what Frameworks are out there so I can plan for these in the future um all I need to do is select um yes here and I immediately filed down to the opportunities uh that specifically are Frameworks rather than rather than single award contracts um I am interested I'm very interested in comms BC and D I'm going to come back to those in a second once I've just scrolled along and sort of summarized what we get here so obviously we get details of um who the buyer is um who's released that framework who's awarded the framework um we get the buyer details um obviously the region um this pry much based in um and again we've got some competitor analysis here so um we're seeing who's been um onboarded onto these Frameworks uh some of these will be uh some of these are clearly single uh award supper Frameworks but obviously there's a few here um which are multiple multiple suppliers being onboarded onto those Frameworks um I've got the value um the the value that's going through the framework um and obviously it'd be good to just Linger on this the cpv code column for a second obviously what I'm getting here is um the gr's maintenance service cpv code um but interestingly there are some Frameworks um a little further down which are linked to different cpv codes for example so there's one here that's also linked to Landscaping work so what I can do with this is I can go through this and perhaps notice that some Frameworks I'm interested in are actually linked to different cpv codes what I can then do is go back to my live search um to tailor my live search further using those different cpv codes um and then finally these three columns I'm I'm obviously very interested in so I've got the framework title here I've got a description of the framework which is going to allow me to understand whether it's relevant to me but most importantly perhaps I've got the source URL um which I can follow to get to um the portal eventually and to do more digging into into the framework um so how does this constitute our bed pipeline well um what we can see with these columns here um I'm primarily interested in columns uh b c and d so um what we get with this data is an idea of the publish dat of the framework and in some cases you will also get when the Frameworks um going to end so that will depend on whether it's in the source data but what I can actually do um is I can just filter for now to show me the Frameworks uh that have an end dat um so what I'm doing here is here is I'm flagging Frameworks where I actually have the the end date of the framework here um and against that I have who the buyers are so essentially what this is is this is my um this is my Prospect list for future Frameworks this is giv me data on who I need to start doing relationship building with um and it's given me um an idea of when that tender is going to uh potentially come up for reapplication to the framework so um now we might be looking at the dates and thinking okay I'm going to do this one is rendering in 2028 for example so I'm going to do my preparation maybe three to six months before um but we would always recommend just um starting as soon as possible really so um what what does that that entail as part of a bid pipeline well um in terms of uh relationship building um strategy uh it might be coming up with a a tailored sales marketing strategy to um to attract these buyers um it may be direct approaches to these buyers um and just relationship building in general and um everything that goes into um your normal sales and marketing process focused on these Frameworks and these buyers um and then obviously having an idea of the time frame um it's one thing that's doing is just make sure it's making sure that some of these Frameworks aren't going to be a surprise to you when they come up for uh when they turn into a live opportunity that that enables you to bid um it's also allowing you to sort of plan your resources in advance uh do the pre-bid work maybe even get access to the tender mentation from the um from the previous round of the framework uh and essentially do the preparation you need to do before before the go live dat essentially um so collectively um that data um represents your bid pipeline um that's T the pipeline premium please do use it please have a go at creating your own bid pipeline um we are improving it all the time to um hopefully get more of this more more of these end dates uh in in this column as well um but yeah please let us know if you got any feedback from using it um let us know if you need if you need any further guidance as well uh just as a quick note as well we do have a further um webinar soon on the um the new procurement act um which will go into some of the differences um in the procurement process in the public sector uh when the procurement act comes into Force um I believe that's on the 17th of July um and just to say finally obviously that all all data and all these um all this Insight we're getting here will be as useful if not more useful when the um when the app comes into comes into Force so um with that I'm going to let you guys have a go um and hopefully ask us some some questions if you've got any so I'm going to open it up to to Q&A now right brilliant thank thanks Adam um yeah just uh to cover what you you said then as well the webinar that we've got um in in July um we'll I'll attach the the booking link uh to that into the email that you'll all get um as a recap on today's session as well so um again that'll be a really it's free a session again but it' be a really um informative I think session for for someone who's uh looking at uh either looking at starting out in competitive tendering uh or just looking to get ahead of the potential changes um would be really beneficial and again totally free um same processes as this one um if we can just open up the questions now I have dropped a few uh links in the chat as well to uh we've got like our uh our blog section where we cover a lot of the terminology that Adam's been running through um plus some really good Insight onto um how you can become more sort of bid aware and um build your pipeline become sort of familiar with the systems we've got hundreds of blogs uh on that link so do have a look around there do use the search function um and there's contact us sections all the way through that so um if anything comes up that you you need a hand on or you'd like uh our input on uh just let us know uh so the first question then uh would be from I think Natasha asked a couple um she says do you offer a trial or a demo uh for the premium service uh she's noticed that there's a a charge for 24-hour access as we we also offer 12 month subscription um I'm aware that there's a trial uh there's a demonstration sorry um with the with the 12 month session um Dave and Adam probably be able to expand on that yeah I suppose just just quickly iose the all the data is in there totally for free and has been that we've invested in and uh developed for three years or more it is there just within the platform um the download function um is the chargeable uh element um and there isn't a um I suppose free version of that yeah yeah that makes sense yeah so really if you if you want to download and and use that data for you know business intelligence purposes whether it's um doing any uh strategic analysis of it any competitor analysis that's where the um the the premium service comes in the ACT data sorry CHR I think the the 24-hour access was just to try and reduce the um price for those people who might be for example outside of the UK but they're looking at entering the UK market and want to understand some of the uh Trends or an organization that might be looking to set up a new division but needs to understand how this new sector um actually operates in the key competitors they don't need uh regular access they just need this kind of oneoff snapshot and and and that's what the 24hour access was was built really well yeah perfect um cool okay so uh the Natasha's also asked um suspect you can't give too much info on this but um where is the data held on this platform where's it pulled from um she's trying to gauge um how possible it is to miss an opportunity um and and whether it's you know it covers all portals even if they're like Niche portals I guess yeah so so the main totally open with this and again this is just the product isn't there really for an income generation the hosting alone isn't covered by the download fees um the the um the main sources for public sector tenders across the UK are finder tender and contracts finder um we are waiting for um after the 28th of October with the procurement act for a centralized version for um um the UK um but putting uh Scotland outside of that we will continue to use public contract Scotland um we pull in information from selta Wales contracts finder finder tender um well um but but the the um I think in total so you know it will include opportunities through blue light um I think we've got nine or 10 different sites um the vast major and that's why you'll notice some duplicates but the vast major majority of every public sector contract goes through b a tender all contracts binder and quite soon it will be going through one and the Source isn't the the value for us and we've just had to look at it in terms of a supplier perspective or a bit of perspective in terms of being able to access that data that is in a um a format um certainly for anyone who's tried to use find a tender which will be the new single platform with a few bells and whistles um it it is very different um it's really difficult to to produce the data that you need for it as a as a kind of busy try to when work yeah it's the the the user interface is is quite it's pretty obstructive as sort of the tender pipeline really puts like a a a nice easy to use functionality like on top of that um so yeah it's is it's really good um Jenna has has asked a similar thing actually may well have covered it in that previous question but um with will if if they currently use a number of different um sort portals or or locations where these opportunities are posted will they uh will the data be duplicated um when it's coming from different sources yeah yeah you may have seen that as well um so um quite often you'll see an an opportunity advertised in contracts finder which is is typically for lower value contracts and find a tender for high value um as a result will pull in two opportunities great perfect um uh Matias has asked uh do you help us to apply for um for bidding and for that kind of thing yeah we do um we're a full service consultancy so I'll message you directly uh after the session Matias and we'll get you in touch with someone that can help uh help you with that um so I think that's it in terms of questions from from the chat anyone does have uh any more that they just thought of or or um triggered you to think of just drop them in the chat now um give it a minute or so but um unless anyone's got anything else we'll uh we'll wrap up Chris if you don't mind just I suppose a couple of uh takeaways so I know on the last um screen on the demo um Adam put the filter on based on um the ones with deadlines and and that is then an easy tool and what I know a lot of clients are using it for is is is even without that taking that filter off but it's by using the location filter or by using um it based on real kind of U Niche uh codes around what's exactly right for yourselves it's almost like um like a nurture list it's there as a tool for you to then say right well how do I start speaking to these people know matter when it's going to come out again um as you would if you bought data if if you um and you simply monitor the engagement right so um if you're starting to email these people and attend events and and and if you are getting interest and you are getting engagement of course you would follow it up in the in in the same way um there's a lot of off-contract spend build it's a great way to build up experience of you anme um I I'd highly encourage um using the whole uh um data set but of course from a from a purely a formal tender uh perspective quick way of doing that is is is um with the filter on the deadline like Adam highlighted um excellent the the the the I suppose a few quick takeaways so the procurement act um is is is going to be interpreted um as a result of the election I'm sure but but but it is still um um going to make some substant IAL changes but from a bidder's perspective and and from what we're hearing from framework providers and also uh Contracting authorities from the public sector is they're concerned around the the the running their own procurement you know it's a risk working to new RS framework use will increase um if there's Frameworks in your sector or or or that are coming up well worth considering um because they will also be based on the old uh or the existing rules rul current rules um the other key element is new Frameworks and new Dynamic poting systems um there's an increased if if you if you're on these Frameworks now and you use direct to W so where there isn't a mini competition or a call off off the back of this approved list off the back of the framework um the transparency requirements of these direct Awards is going to increase and so what that means is it might be more difficult for you to use that as your sales tool and something really important to consider um not overnight because any Frameworks that you're on now that can still happen within the same rules but a real area um to have a um a bit of a think about and and there is going to be um you know kpis now have to be uh reported actually published and reported so your systems for actually ensuring that you're delivering on the commitments within the contract is really important um and and This falls into to social value as well there's um I think the term is public benefit um there not referenc specifically to social value within the ACT but but this public benefit and and this focus on and move from most economically advant advantageous tender M meet to Matt most advantageous tender and the reporting requirements we really think social value is going to keep on um um increasing in important so certainly an area and I know on our site we've got loads of blogs around um social value and creating responses but that information set how you monitor what you're doing on a contract really important but we have to discuss and advise on that perfect that's great and and there'll be um there'll be links to um if you go into our blog section and just search for the procurement act or social value or anything like that any anything that we've mentioned um there's loads and loads of information on there um I'll include the link in the summary email that goes out after this session as well um there'll also be an edited version of uh of this this recording um so that'll be up uh I would IM menine tomorrow morning so um if you got any questions off the off the back of the session either for for Dave Adam or myself um we'll send across the the full pack of slides the recording and um our fact sheet so um thanks to you all for attending and have a good day yeah thank you cheers
