task is assigned to someone he gets notified and after his part is done he can update the status of the project as the app is also available on IOS and Android so we all get notification on all of our click up is fairly new player in the game it was founded in 2017 and has quickly gained attraction in these years a couple of exciting things behind this app resulted in its popularity first of all the UI of the app is so good it's simple effective and like you can see all the tasks things on the home page like you can see the today's tasks calendar time blocking mentions Etc you can also set goals break them down into measurable targets and track real-time progress UI is so minimal get powerful to get things done we get tons of views to represent information in a much more efficient way like list Board calendar table kanban view some views are limited to 100 uses like Gantt and timeline and you need to upgrade to premium version to use more than that but the included views would be enough for anyone doing any kind of work the app is also great for collaborative work you can create documents and you can invite your members to collaborate it also has a personal view so if you are task is completed click up also offers cloud storage even in its free plan though it's only 100 MB compared to 500 MB on the monday.com beside that click up is an awesome project management app and in the description Asana next up on our list is Asana another awesome project management app that is completely free it's almost a decade since Asana was launched and it is being one of the loved apps by sales people but it also works great for managing your tasks and projects you will see that it's quite feature heavy and you get most of the things for free that other programs offer in their paid plan like unlimited tasks projects messages unlimited file storage that's something collaboration with up to 15 teammates list board and calendar view IOS and Android app and much more looking at the overall app it's quite intuitive and personally it's the app that suits best for my kind of work on the home page you will see an overview here you will see date time projects priorities tasks and much more and you can also customize this to some extent you have your navigation bar on the left from here we can check our inbox tasks reporting portfolio and goals now these three things are for the paid plan so below that we have teams here we can see our team members and invite them if we like to we can add up to 15 users to the free plan below that we have our projects so I've created one for my YouTube videos so with the help of this I can see what videos I have in mind but I'm working on and what's done great thing is that you can create as many projects as you like other apps might give you a limited number of projects but here on Asana it's unlimited so you can create any number of projects you like you can also start the project and it will appear here in the favorites so once you are in the project you will be able to see couple of views with the free plan we have three options list board and calendar which is enough if you are just starting out let's go back to the list view so here we can create these tasks like so we can also assign a team member who is responsible for the task that is me then we can add the due date priority Etc The Columns you are looking at right now are all the columns that you can use rest are reserved for the Premium plan when we click on that it will appear here from the side and we can do a bunch of things like add description sub tasks and mark it as complete and give it a like you can do that for the video as well you can attach the files and much more also you can ask a question or add an update other than views we can all success overview files and messages last but not least we get Asana Integrations as well and you will be amazed to see how many extensions they have like slack Gmail Google Drive GitHub and many more
