[Music] you never really know where you want to be at the end someone at university that's what you're studying but you never know where that's gonna end up I originally started working as a contractor so I came through an agency and my original role at Lyon was within IT I was a contractor for seven or eight months and was then put through a process to become an employee my role now is partnering like with with hospitality which sits within marketing helping with the creation and renovation of venues so little creatures and James Squire things like that during the process of applying for my new role I made it relatively clear that hospitality was going to be a challenge for me never working with in hospitality myself or doing anything like that so it was quite a steep learning curve for me I was fortunate that I was able to leverage the skill set of project management which is what I do and that's what I was looking for in my growth I guess in my career everybody within the team of hospitality when I came into it knew that that was an area that I I needed to learn and being a very supportive team you know I can ask what I think is gonna be a pretty silly question but they're always happy to answer those questions and help me move forward with that gave me a great opportunity to learn all those things that the things that I guess the everyday person when they go into a venue don't necessarily consider once you acknowledge something can you and you're transparent around areas you want to grow or you've you've told your leader in terms of this this is really the challenge I'm looking for everyone's willing to support you in getting to that next step of your career [Music]
