hey this is Sam VA funnels calm want to do a quick training video on why a funnel is so critical and how funnels are different than your website because a lot of mortgage professionals we talk to will say hey man I've got a great website what what's the deal with the funnel why do I need a funnel and I'm gonna explain to you why a funnel is different and why it's so critical if you want to increase your pipeline and increase your production and do more VA loans okay mortgage professional websites have two primary purposes and they're great they're absolutely great but there are two purposes that do not get you paid number one branding and number two browsing think the two B's that's why a mortgage professional website exists brand who you are brand your firm brand your bank brand-new products browse browse who you are browse your product offering and I know somewhere on that page somewhere is a loan application link or whatever listen mortgage professionals when we consult with them and talk with them they all want to 2 X 3 X 4 X their income their production which 90% of their production currently comes from sphere of influence which is awesome it's the way it should be it should be the bedrock the problem is most mortgage professionals need to get outside their sphere of influence get inbound deals directly to them to actually grow their pipeline and grow their production so if it's a sphere of influence friend family previous customer previous customer referral and of course real estate agents sure send them to your website to the application because you know they're gonna fill it out there more market right or a link via email is what a lot of loan officers do cold market somebody that doesn't know what you do you do not want them going to your website proofs in the pudding right when we ask mortgage professionals hey how many cold market leads is your website kicking off on a daily or weekly basis cold market people who don't know what you do don't know who you are average mortgage professional will go zero man not almost nobody okay cool if your website's already not converting cold market leads don'ts in traffic there from cold market sources like Facebook and other places where you are trying to grow your pipeline and grow your busy let's talk Facebook specifically in getting more va leads if you get clicks or whatever from Facebook you don't want to send them to your webpage I want to make a very big distinction and new category in your marketing mind and that is stop thinking about destination and start thinking about conversation all right most mortgage professionals when they think about cold market it's where do we send them where did they go the destination and so naturally makes sense said under the website right because that's where you're branded and that's where they can learn more about you the problem is websites aren't designed for conversions they're not designed for conversations they're designed for branding browsing the two B's which are great but they don't get you paid when it comes to cold market what does get you paid our conversations funnels are designed for conversations websites are designed as destinations what a funnel does is it allows you to convert contact information funnels only have one purpose remember how your website has five tabs at the top and 10 dropdowns and at the end of the day probably 20 30 sometimes 40 options it's not going to convert leads it's too much it's not there to get that contact information a funnel has only one option and only one conversion give up your contact information phone number email physical address some type of contact peace which is what gets you paid conversations that lead to applications or business whatever your normal process is a funnel is critical when it comes to Facebook lead generation to get more VA leads because it's focused on converting leads it's focused on creating conversations which is the one thing that does get you paid so that's why a funnel is so critical because it has a sole focus a sole intent and we get questions a lot about funnels oh man I got to build a whole new website no no when it comes to building a funnel
