[Music] hi in this video I'm going to talk a little bit about some tips that you can use in your interview to gain that uh pharmaceutical sales position that you're looking for one of the most important thing that everybody would agree uh before going to a job interview is obviously to project confidence right and and but it's if it's something new for us and any a position that we've been trying to really get you know it's really hard to develop that that confidence from one day to the other I know that because I went through that process and the best way for you to develop that confidence to get the job is actually through developing developing the competence that you need and there are two ways that you can develop that competence one is to do what I did at the beginning and it's basically with practice paying the price with expensive mistakes like I did I remember the first time I got my first uh phone screening I pick up the phone and I I was talking to the recruiter and my answers were so bad that the recruiter hung up hung up the call I mean didn't even finish the call and you know let me hang it there because it was horrible I mean and unfortunately you know that's that's probably not the best way but you know it's effective you know learn from your own mistakes you know build I I I kept going I didn't stop on that you know I kept interviewing and you know with time I started to find out I started to notice that the questions were all kind of the same you know with certain variations here and there but the questions behavioral questions and all of that that the recruiters and the hiring managers were doing in the process they're very similar it took me a while to figure out that and you know like I said a lot of mistakes opportunities that I miss so the other way you know is other than practice is actually to be prepared for that interview and that made a huge difference for me when I started to notice that I was getting the same question I started to prepare the answers for those qu questions to be concise and Powerful responses and the game changed for me because you know now I didn't have to come up with the answer at the spot in the spot or trying to improvise the answer you can do it but you know it's not IDE idea when I started to develop those answers and prepare myself for those questions I realized that even when they would come up with a question that was a little bit different I could adapt what I already have prepared to cause a great uh impression in the interview and that's why you know in in the training videos that that I prepare I included you know um my collection you know of the most commonly uh asked questions during the interview process in pharmaceutical celles so you can have that in actually dedicate some time to get those answers for yourself you know like customized based on your experience so when those questions come you are prepared and you don't have to go through what I went through so um I I really hope this uh this can help you and um if you have any questions just drop me a line uh and visit my website CU I'm going to be adding some more resources to help you uh to get that uh pharmaceutical sales job good luck
