you some advantages and some practical applications on what we can do with AI and automation thanks Gilbert for joining so where are we going to get started that's right we're gonna get started we have the first the benefits of actually implementing Ai and Automation in in your industry so we're covering logistic companies manufacturing and of course supply chain as you might know the supply chain seems like the umbrella of the services recovers everything from the get-go from when you start the product until you deliver the product and so on after the product manufacturing is more of uh companies who actually create the product from the raw materials and then you have logistic companies you have all kind sort of logistics companies could be warehousing could be trucking companies they call it 3pl 4pl you name it they are more dedicated to the transportation which it's a great it's a great indry too because there's It's a combination of human humans and then technology I mean it's complicated so it's a really great opportunity for AI to step in and in reduce some complexities help with some compliance efficiency is what you'll get into yes correct as you see on the monitor uh Logistics supply chain that goes from the port to the roads where you see any trucks next and next to you driving delivering the the the the goods to any warehouse or any stores and that takes us that all the organizations that we work we they have data but it's siloed it's part of it is just it's it's not that it's inaccessible it's just it's not connected in the system so one advantage here then there's human Workforce so part of this too is consolidating the tech not only the data but the tech devices that go into that how the data all right so here's a brief uh history and evolution of Automation and AI in supply chain manufacturing and Logistics everything started with the Industrial Revolution and the mechanized Looms and the assembly lines then we come to the computer era that was uh a little before the 90s where computer desktop came in and companies started throwing the drawing tables and file cabinets and then the the Erp system came along on the 90s that's when manufacturing and logistics company started using and and digitalizing uh mostly everything then the internet came alone and with this the cloud-based Solutions we have have uh our cloud orchestration system that works from the cloud and and I know that most of most companies are using the cloud as as a base to run the several software and now we're on the AI uh era and you can relate I don't know if you can see the the the same or a difference between uh similarities or the difference between the computer era and where we are right now on on AI even from the consumer point of view too if you remember back from like 30 years ago when it became popular when they were getting the computers I remember it was a family investment it's like oh we're getting our first computer like the first cell phone it was a big deal but it was kind of the first time where this technology was available for consumers and the same thing is happening this this graph that we have here we see the hardware then we see the data systems then we see the cloud but now we've got AI That's consumer friendly it's available and it's easy to use which is has not been the case since the last five years and then can you imagine how many people rejected the computer at first yeah I'm not doing that I'm using Post-its and I'm using my my planner yeah that that probably happened until all the way until the 90s and then some people just got to jump into the computers so the same thing is happening with AI and automation if you're managing a Logistic Company supply chain or Manufacturing Company you must add the right Automation and AI platform to your systems um that's a good that's a brief story we we actually have some good studies here too to share I think we have another graphic though don't we we do but before we jump into that graphic let's see so we just discussed basically Ai and Automation in a nutshell the history behind it and how the systems are integrating in order to prevent fines for for from ports and federal authorities is another important point that we need to discuss because that's one of the most important points of implementing Ai and automation you want to you know how many logistic companies and supply chain companies are actually getting sued or getting fines from ports from federal authorities if you're a Manufacturing Company you you have to be and if you're creating for example Healthcare products or devices you have to be heppa compliant so most people when they look at automation they think how much can how much more Revenue can they generate for their business because if they improve eff efficiency but in this industry there's a lot of fines going on just due to non-compliance and it comes down to getting the right paperwork in order so there's an opportunity here for these large companies that are doing this supply chain manufacturing to reduce the fines because the documents handling properly yeah let's look at some of the fines that these companies are actually in danger or actually not not be compliance with okay uh I have one here that is customs and declaration duties mistakes on custom paperwork can result on significant fines on this era so and it happens all the time it happens you have a human just typing in all the information or or forwarding information with Automation and AI you can just automate the entire process no errors eliminating human errors 100% And there's certain regulations environmental regulations so if you're traveling to different ports there's other things that happen in those areas that you can be in compliance with and with the documentation that you need it can be automated so you have what you need to to be in compliance with those Regional areas yeah and in order to keep being in compliance you have to have the right inventory reporting and that's another segment where the incorrect inventory reports will give will get you another fine so there's there's tons of compliance right so the the frea the freight the shipping and fre that's always you know did you bring in the right things did you not bring in the right things are you allowed to bring it in the certain area so again the compliance is a huge theme because there's a there's you know shipping good Goods to another region it is an issue well there's there's so many vectors to it and it depends on the product too I mean if we're talking about a product that people eat versus a retail product that like clothes that people wear the regulations for that are going to be completely different so it's a way to kind of stay in order with those regulations true each of these finds that we found actually goes go goes hand to hand because the quality control is another another segment so Federal authorities can impose fines for products that don't meet quity standards so it goes as you can see it goes hand to hand you have to have everything good process so you don't get fine and you don't lose your revenue and data security is always going to be a huge concern and when we talk to experts in Risk Management all of our verticals that they they tell us that those frauders out there they it's it's AI fighting AI so if you don't have ai then you know your data your data will be at risk at some point so it's it's great to have that extra EXT ra countermeasure because those guys are always a step ahead so instead of being reactive it's better be proactive correct and and that applies to labor laws too um so you have to automate the eping I know a lot of people with warehouses and trucks you have to be able to track all of those hours extra hours sometimes most of the times are extra hours so you have to be able to adapt and automate all of that process so you don't miss one hour some people just forget to maybe punch in punch out and then with when you automate all of this process you're saving yourself money and then retaining documents is a big area too there's government regulations that require certain documents to be in place so they can set up automations as well to make sure that they're current that they're current or that when when and where they need to be updated and the actual Texas or something so the first step is to request that service online and usually is online nowadays everyone has a website so that's the first step then that's and then again we're talking about uh this process without a business process without open Bots and this is currently the majority of the market is here right now uh especially Logistics because we're getting the quote um a human actually gets that quote in the office in the logistics company then the prospects receive the estimate for the approval after the human looks at the quotee they send the estimate they approve the estimate and then they have to to make the payment so the estimate process the payment after that process the payment is made and then the order goes to the dispatcher and then the service start as you can see we have one two 3 four five six seven services which is fine that's the way we've been working uh and now this is with open Bots as you can see the difference just at a glance you can see that is a three to four steps uh you can automate the entire process we'll start with the the request of the service then a bot analyze the order and send it back for an estimate and notifies accounting so we're talking about that these three steps a bot actually takes those steps and can do it do it in one shot and an important point there too so that when we say bot two that could be a group of automations to do that that can work together exactly because you can have ai document processing taking that uh extract the right data and then have another BT sending that information to back to the to the all the process that we were discussing yeah I mean it's a great picture to show I mean the goal here too is to have the service start as soon as possible ex right to cut cut out not to cut out people but to give them the information that they need that they could put it in the right channel customer serve is 100% yeah because you remember we are on the digital era so I'm on the website if you don't reply back to me really I can just open a new window and request another quote and go somewhere else yeah exactly so we're one click away now which makes Automation and AI an affordable and a m go tool oh so we have that's the those are the automations for Logistics now we have the automations for supply chain onboarding is always going to be a huge factor of this onboarding a new vendor there's going to be documentation involved and then managing the documents that you need need that's going to be it's going to be better equipped for a computer and AI to do that because they they understand ones and zeros and you get accurate results because at our best you know humans are you when they have their coffee and they're feeling great they're 90% accurate and it's just kind of funny when people pick holes through the data accuracy oh is it 95 98 well data handles numbers very or AI handles numbers very accurately much more than we can and it's just going to be more available on the internet and we wanted to see what we extracted so there's some things here you know description of goods is always going to be something that someone's going to need to know so what what's the relevance here in your in your in your background from Logistics well number one we were talking about efficiency and accuracy as you can see is over 95% accurate if you go to the right sideb bar you will see that all the those fields are coming from a non-structure document that means that uh it is a fact it is a scan so this is not a PDF where you can easily take the text this is actually a scan image sometimes logistics companies they just get a fact or or a scan image from with a signature our tool actually recognize all of this image as text which is great for data the document too it does this not only extracts information but every document upload it creates this flowchart and it you can you can move stuff around and you know it's like if I was going to create this myself it' take me time and most people are doing this in Excel or canva or something and here for a supply chain management you will have the Logistic Company that is moving the goods you will have the the the manufacturing companies who was was a company who actually created the product in there and the different 3pl compan trucking companies or entities maybe we have Trucking that are individuals people that are actually Freelancers so you can have all of this structure per account and per document and you can import uh hundreds of documents at the same time and you can
