so the cool thing is i came in not really knowing i was getting my date myself into but day one i got a promotion and he's like congratulations you got it people should choose poa because we're stable company we've been around since 1976. we've grown every single year that we've been in business who else can say that we're expanding into new states every year we're in 10 different states now over 30 office locations so you know going through something like a pandemic something i hadn't thought about in a really long time is working for a recession-proof company what i love most is just the ability to run your own business within a company you know they give you a lot of autonomy to do what you want and you're in control of your own success it really gave me the opportunity to you know number one provide for myself and my family put me in position to buy a house by 25 and just a lot of goals that i've always kind of had as a as a young man gave me the opportunity to accomplish them a lot faster than i think i probably would have done elsewhere there's a lot of places that have very kind of shiny promising offers right off the bat but all my other buddies have bounced around from two to three different jobs and they're kind of making about what they were right out of college where i came here i worked hard i stuck it out i kept my head down just worked my butt off and now i'm just over two years in and my first year i made six figures i've stuck it out now i'm making even more and it's like you get to level your life up a little bit a lot of it right out of college i know i had to pay off my debt but i also wanted a good job that will not only be a short career i was hoping for a long-term career and it seemed like with the growing business like poa has it was a great fit for me you don't have to have sales experience coming in we really just look for the right attitude for sales are you competitive are you goal oriented do you want to have control over your career and control over your income those are really the things that we look for and we'll give you everything else that you need to be successful we're very traditional in that we wear suit and tie every day we come to work we're very driven to help new people and then on the opposite side we hire young people so the environment's always lively and fun and we're all friends no day is exactly the same i like that it's not a monotonous job you definitely are challenged with new things and you have to come up with new ways to solve those problems at some point you don't want to have to work anymore and poa allows you to get ahead and again kind of just level up where you're at so you can move ahead further faster so that when you're 45 or 50 you're not counting how many years until your retirement you're retired you're done so economically i was able to pay off my student loans within two years i bought my house three years into the job flipped that one built my first house two years after that sold that house to another employee and then built another house to where i'm at right now so the wealth i'm building is awesome and then the give back you know there's two things i did last year that i just felt really good so i bought my mom got a divorce and didn't really have a place to go was kind of a very abrupt ending i was able to buy her house and get her out of a bad situation my brother has two kids he couldn't afford a down payment to a house and he was living in a small apartment and i just hated seeing it so i was able to buy a house put the down payment for him on that all of this economic stuff the money is here but it's what you could do with the money is it's unbelievable if you want to control your future essentially i would say poa is a place to do it where else can you go with no experience and build such a rewarding career if you're looking for stability growth you want to work hard and be rewarded for that hard work we overpay and over-reward the overachiever pacific office is the place for you you
