[Music] there's all this Buzz around this platform called chat GPT okay this was the fastest platform ever to get to a million users it only took five days and here's the deal is it going to replace your insurance business is it going to replace you as a salesperson well right now it's not here's the deal whenever you plug anything in there and you probably saw it in the first part of this video it's kind of just meh right you throw something in there when it happens to deal with marketing it's kind of just like that Hook's not really that good or you know that copyright really isn't that good I was really excited about this platform whenever it came out because I was thinking hey this is going to help me create hooks it's going to help me create ads creative whatever it might be and I I started throwing stuff in there and maybe it's me maybe I'm just not asking the right questions but the hooks the copyright it was just kind of again just kind of met it was okay maybe like a person who's never done marketing for it maybe they did the stuff and so I think the platform has a long way to go do I think it's going to replace insurance agencies no insurance agents no at least not for the time being I think this if you give this platform 5 10 15 years we better watch out there's actually a video of a Google AI assistant taking a full customer service call and it sounds like a real human being okay it is insane and if you think about how AI works you could have a sales AI robot listen to millions of phone calls listen to tonality Listen to especially in our business compliance it would be a perfectly compliant call perfect sales process perfect sales flow cross-selling upselling down selling and you got to think about it from the carries perspective a hundred percent compliance is it there today it is absolutely not but it could be in the future and I think we need to plan for that whether you're an agent or an agency could you use it for customer service could you use it for sales could you use it for other things I think it's not there yet but especially as like a marketing assistant it could just spring on new ideas so I know there's a lot of Buzz going on around it there's a lot of you know Microsoft bought it and now Google's freaking out and all these big things and there there's a reason to be scared I think a little bit it's still years in the future we just have to adapt and overcome as any good business owner would so another thing and this is going to be kind of a rant for me is let's talk about automation so AI is you know a learning robot basically automation is say hey it's the automated text that goes to your client it's the automated email it's the ringless voicemail it's all these things there's so much buzz in this industry about Automation and here's the deal I have agent that work with me I have agents that don't work with me that they want to automate everything they want the text and then they want the next text and they want that automated email and they want that ringless voicemail and they never want to call their dang leads so here's the deal I have agents where that lead goes to a spreadsheet they call them and there's closing four or five 600 new clients or I should say applications a year then I have other agents that literally want 17 automated texts and 32 voicemails and 18 emails and they only want to take inbound calls that come off of that and I guess that's okay if you can make that profitable but at the end of the day automation is killing their businesses it's so simple this business is so simple we can just make it so complicated or maybe we just have some really lazy agents and if you're if you're that way I'm calling you out if it's the way you want to do it it's the way you want to do it we get in this business for freedom and flexibility it is what it is but I have agents where it just goes into that spreadsheet there's no automated text there's no workflow there's no CRM they call the person they set an appointment and they go sell some dang Insurance how simple is that I think so many agents want to make it so complex like where's the text where's the email where's the workflow where's all these things it doesn't have to be that way I mean I'll look on these Facebook groups and I'll see like these strings and I do it too I do it for my team but we don't rely on it I think so many ages are that is the key they are relying on automation to scale their business when the only thing in my opinion automation helps don't get me wrong but the only thing that scales is this pick up the phone call the lead call the prospect call the referral call whoever it is and actually do the work automation is not a replacement for work work is work automation just helps the work so I think a lot of people have it backwards they're thinking hey automation is going to take away from the work no it just helps the phone calls it helps contact rates it helps all these things it's never going to be the end-all be-all it's never going to be the thing that just magically sells your policies for you and if it does if you want it to get there guess what who has more money you are insurance carriers insurance carriers so do you think if you figured it out they're the smartest people in the world do you think if you figured it out they would also figure it out and figure out how to bring that cost of acquisition down to a profitable measure just think if you want it to be that good the insurance companies are going to figure this out I don't want it to be that good I want to have to pick up the phone and call the lead I want to have to if I'm a field Burger I want to have to go to their house sit down with them have a conversation with them because if it ever gets so easy that it's just automated did you know automated texts or emails or maybe an AI bot that texts them back if it ever gets that easy you don't have a job anymore think about that think how big of a deal that is okay but at the end of the day I see so much stuff about Automation and don't get me wrong we do a ton of it but it's not the main thing that we do it's a secondary thing that we do so all in all call your mother leads [Music]
