hello everyone how's it going welcome to the fe marketing automation platform we are very excited to introduce you to this the system is designed to help you grow your business automate your communications all with a direct integration into the crm component of the fe platform so i'm just going to give you a very quick run through and a quick guide to get started so upon creating your account you will see a quick startup list in front of you you can certainly a great way to start is to import your contacts so if you have contacts in a csv file or from another system such as mailchimp and you're going to bring them over you can go ahead and import them in and there's also a data feed directly from the crm as well so if i scroll through the left-hand panel here we have our contacts here you go this is me [Music] and this is a great way to just have a contact list in a view you can have your mobile numbers uh you can have see tags you can filter by lists etc and then moving on uh campaigns so campaigns is essentially your um your standard email campaign tool so you can create an email campaign and send it out to your list another important thing to take note of however is templates so typically before you create a campaign you'd want to head into templates and prepare a template prepare uh take a template duplicate it and then prepare your content in that and get that ready to send and once you create the campaign you can grab the template that you want to use we have quite a few fantastic email templates pre-configured for you so we have rba news templates we have a happy birthday template just for happy birthday automations and then quite a few just personal communications that are very relevant to uh the mortgage broker industry so intro to lender appointment confirmation so have a look and you can explore these templates the automation builder moving on to the next section this is really the most powerful aspect to this platform it's really designed to be a cutting edge tool and compete against any anything else that might be out there that would deliver marketing automation communications creating an automation the automation builder is a fantastic feature and really the best way to get going is just pop in and start a automation from scratch and you can see how the workflows pan out and how they work but just keep it deactivated for now so you can activate it when you're ready but with the deactivated automation you can go in and have a look uh okay so and this is just a quick snapshot of it so a few sending options here moving on we've got lists so lists are your marketing list so essentially a contact would be subscribed to this list so a good way to look at lists is let's say you have a thousand contacts in your database you might have 800 in your newsletter list and then another 100 in your first home buyers list and they could be in both lists as well so that you might have someone in the newsletter list and they're also in your first home buyers list and it's just a bit of segmentation to know how you can send out different content to different lists however you'll also work with tags as well so you don't necessarily want to have a list for every segment you want to have a hand just a few lists and then use tags to segment the contacts even further okay forms so forms are a great tool you can embed a form directly into a landing page or into your website create a form and then you can convert leads directly into the system and that's pretty much it some reporting tools to see your email open rates and some other analytics in the system and we've got plenty of pre-configured automations in here for you as well i recommend you turn on the engagement tagging automations those are really helpful and then just have a look at the other ones so that's about it for now and keep an eye on the academy page for more content tools to help you get started all right bye for now
