time they made a purchase from you when was the last time you emailed your customers since their last purchase and what are you doing to help them purchase more frequently in greater quantities remember we're creatures of habit and very often we need a reminder to tell us that your business and you exist and you have these amazing products or services that will benefit visitors greatly once you've been through the list now you need to identify the sales and promotional opportunities say for example have you considered running a free delivery weekend what about book purchase discounts can you upsell or cross-sell so why communicating these to your customers there are definitely sales within your existing customer database you just need to look for them the second strategy is the conversion strategy and here you're looking to convert your existing social media followers now these are your warm audience so it's going to be easier to convert them you don't have to start at Ground Zero so how often are you engaging with them are you posting every day twice a day are you asking for feedback are you educating entertaining and inspiring them these are three things that I recommend you focus on whenever you're creating your social media content are you actually inviting them to your place of sale whether that's your website and to store Amazon store or your high street are you welcoming them into your premises remember people need a reason to make a purchase decision or take action and it's your job to do that so don't just make it about your product make it about your audience as well sell the benefits or the experience that you're offering okay so the third strategy is the customer growth strategy so what are you doing to reach new customers are you growing your audience on social media what are you doing actively every day in order to do that you probably have a captive audience somewhere you just need to go out and look for them now they're welcome to you so well but you need to be applying social media strategies like hash tag following your competitors followers and yes having conversations with people daily are you doing enough in social media are you actively growing your audience every day your sales are in your fan base and they're larger it is the more brand ambassadors you have cheering you on and shouting to the world how amazing your
