what's up guys welcome back into the millennial profit my name is Adam and I'm a full-time reseller if you're new here I show you all different kinds of ways to make money so if you like money hit that subscribe button I thought I would make today's video on the top three ways to pump sales during the summer slump as my sales have been doing pretty well and I'm even going to show my numbers with you guys and actually the last one here that I have I've increased my sales by 38% on one account and 23% on one account just the last 30 days by doing this one thing but you're going to have to wait cuz that's number three starting off with number one though I've said this a million times daily listing showing that eBay activity every single day is going to help pump more sales I know a lot of people might think this is a myth and they're going to say oh there's no way that you have to list daily on eBay and then they'll magically put your stuff to the top but from someone that's been doing this the past couple years I can tell you from experience it helps and ever since I've been listing daily my sales have been solid you guys see in my sold videos and there's even been a couple people in my group bread and butter who right when they started listing daily they definitely saw an increase in sales now you'll also have to understand if you don't have that many listings you are going to struggle to make sales especially in the summer slump if you're under 500 listings you're going to see inconsistent sales in the summer no matter what you do I know there's a lot of people with like a 100 listings that are expecting to sell everything right away that's just not how it is number two goes along the same lines of listing daily but it's pulling down those stale listings and selling similar I've mentioned this a bunch of times in my videos if my listing's been up four to 6 months and it's really not getting a ton of activity I'm not seeing any Watchers on it I'm usually going to pull that down I'm going to re-evaluate the market to see what it's actually going for sometimes it's even going for more because it's been up for so long then I'm going to go to that same listing I'm going to click sell similar and I'm going to list it back up you don't want to click relist because that's just going to put up the same exact listing that you just took down that already wasn't successful so you want to trigger a new listing by clicking sell similar and then you want to change one word in the title or like flip two around that way it recognizes it as a completely brand new listing I know it sounds completely crazy but I've been doing that as well daily so on each of my accounts I pull down five to 10 listings every single day and sell similar on them that way this is about 1% of my store both of my stores are around like 12 1300 listings right now so if I'm able to do 10 a day it should reset my store every about 100 days and if you aren't able to list or you don't have enough inventory to list this will actually work as your daily listing as well since when you sell similar it it triggers a new listing and lastly the thing that has increased my sales immensely shipping your orders as they come in so many of you know I only ship three days a week I have two business handling days on so I ship Monday Wednesday Friday but every time when I go to ship my eBay orders as I'm shipping the orders i' noticed an influx of sales come in no matter what the time of year is even in the summer I'd see one or two come in in quarter four I see 5 to 10 come in and I'm like is this just like a coincidence or why are people buying stuff at 9:00 a.m. on a Wednesday when I'm shipping so I decid to put it to the test and this last month I've been printing my labels as the orders come in so I'm still just shipping Monday Wednesday Friday so twice a day I'll print my shipping labels usually around like the middle of the day and then right before I go to bed and I have definitely seen an increase in sales I'll pop up my two charts here on the last 90 days and you can see in the last 30 days one of them is up 38% and the other one is up I think it's 23% yeah it's also important to note the first 14 days of this 19 days I was on a 14-day Cruise so it's not even showing so we're chilling around like 45k which is pretty solid but probably would be closer to like 50k that also has no effect on this little experiment because it's only comparing this 30 days with the prior 30 days so if you want to think listing daily selling similar or shipping orders as they come in are a conspiracy to the eBay algorithm you do you but I'm going to keep doing what's working for me and these things have increased my sales like crazy and I can't wait to take these practices into quarter 4 where sales are going to absolutely boom editing this video right now and I forgot to mention I'm starting a new series this quarter 4 so last quarter 4 I talked about how I wanted to do $100,000 just on eBay and I got to $98,000 and wasn't able able to do it so this year I'm starting a new series road to 100K and we're going to see if we can do $100,000 just on eBay in quarter 4 meant to mention in this video but I didn't so here's that and here's back to the outro so to wrap it up like I already mentioned sales are going to be down in sumers slump for everyone especially those that don't have that many listings it's the summertime people are taking vacations they're just not shopping as much but we're not that far from quarter 4 where you can literally sell anything I honestly love the summertime I don't have to work as much but it's the time when everyone's running all of these clearance sales and liquidation events and it's the time to stack that inventory up for quarter four is all these companies are dumping off everything super cheap I'll buy it up hold it for a few months toss it off for a profit here in quarter 4 you got to change your mindset always be thinking ahead to that next season I think I've said this a million times I'm always stacking inventory for that next season right now they're dumping a bunch of winter stuff up I'm buying it up I'm buying up the line Crocs I'm buying up the boots I'm buying up the coats at their low going to flip them for their high in quarter four view your inventory as Investments and always be thinking ahead on that next investment that you can flip over for a profit and stack that good inventory for quarter four sales so thank you for watching I hope this was helpful to you
