I'll be showing you a step-by-step tutorial on how to set up your Seller Central Business account in the UAE there are two ways to sign up when you're setting up your Seller Central account one is to create an individual account this is when you're selling as an individual without owning a company the other option is to create a business account and this is when you legally own a company you can get started with an individual account and then later upgrade it to a business account when you open a company but this can go through quite a few stages of approval if you want to get started on Amazon the right way and if you don't want all these issues to come up later then I do suggest you to go ahead with the business account let's get to the tutorial let's go [Music] about this video be sure to give this a big thumbs up right now if you want to learn more about online businesses and all things entrepreneurship make sure to subscribe if you haven't already so now we are on Amazon's website and it's important to note that this is amazon.ae and not amazon.com so once you're on Amazon's website you scroll right to the bottom and you'll find sell on Amazon and we'll click that and so this is basically the page from where we'll sign in so here they're just saying how you can reach a lot of people and this is a hassle-free delivery system and then how you'll make money there's also a video you can go ahead and check that out if you want and this is the sign up button so we'll go ahead and click the sign up button and that will bring us to this page so here I do suggest you to get a fresh email and then sign up and not an email that you're using for your Amazon shopping account or something like that or at least an email that is active and you check it regularly because you'll be receiving a lot of important emails from Amazon and you don't want to is them if something is showing automatically signed in then that could be one of your Amazon accounts maybe the one that you use for shopping or something so make sure that it's not that so right at the bottom there's this white button which is create your Amazon account and we'll simply click that which will bring you to this page and this is pretty straightforward just like signing up with any other website or account you simply put your name email password and all of that and then once you're done filling this then click next and then that'll bring you to this page which says that they have sent you an OTP to the email that you have just provided so now you're gonna wanna go to your email and grab your OTP then we'll just put the OTP here and then click create your Amazon account all right so the first step is already done you're already inside Amazon Seller Central and here they're just saying here's what to expect so on the left side they're showing what the process will be like and that they'll need some documents from you and then basically they'll verify your submission and then once you're verified you can start selling and on the right side they're showing what they need from you they'll need a valid government issued ID or your passport and then they'll also need your recent bank account or credit card statement they'll also need a chargeable credit card and then they'll also need your mobile phone number once you're done reading all of this and you have prepared everything you can hit begin that will bring you to this page and here they're asking for your business information so here they're asking for your country so we'll go ahead and select UAE for us of course it's United Arab Emirates so we'll just do that and for the people who are not opening the business account when you're on this section if you don't have a business you can simply put your country of residence so the next one is select your business type so in my case it's going to be privately owned business and that is what it's going to be for majority of the Ecom Sellers and again if you don't have a company you can just go ahead and select none I am an individual so I'm just going to go ahead and put privately owned business now that I've selected this they want to make sure that I've selected the right options so that's why this box is popping up here it says please ensure your business type selection is correct and incorrect selection may affect the status of your account so please be sure to select the right one so in the next box they are asking for your business name the business name that you have registered with your state or with your federal government so over here please make sure that you have put the exact name that you have on your legal documents like for example don't miss out on words like LLC or if they are all in caps or something like that it's best to put exactly how it is in the legal documents and then please read whatever is written here and then you can just click the box I confirm my business location and type are correct and then you can scroll down and click agree and continue that will bring you to this page so now here they're asking for some more information so now here there are 5 Steps that you need to complete to get verified so you've already put your business name and then the next step is that you put your company registration number now a lot of people if in the UAE and if you are a new company and this is your first company can get confused so this is your business license number and not the formation number and then next here you'll put your registered business address you will be needing a business address if you have taken a flexi desk or something like that with your license you can even put that address that's fine so next they're asking if you want to receive the pin through a SMS or a call so I'm going for the SMS option and then you're gonna put your mobile number where you want to receive the pin and then also here if you want to change your SMS verification language you can do that or you can just leave it as is and then you can hit send SMS so you will immediately receive the pin in your mobile number and then the this is the one time PIN verification box you can just simply put that here and then you can click verify so now your mobile number has been verified and has been added here so there is also an option to add another number if you want but otherwise this is done and you can hit next so that will bring you to this page here they're asking for primary contact person information so this is all your information that you have to put so here they're asking for your name uh your full name middle name last name and then country of citizenship so country of citizenship will obviously not be your country of residence and then country of birth date of birth then they're asking for identity proof so that could be your passport or national or residence ID and then depending on what you've selected your country of issue so for example if you've selected residence ID then they'll be asking for your GCC national ID or your UE residence ID number and then and also the date of expiry okay so the next one is your residential address so this is going to be your actual residence address and then your number is already verified and added and if you want to put another number again the option is still there and then they're asking confirm if primary contact person is a beneficial owner of the business or is a legal representative of the business so you go ahead and select whichever one you want and here it says I've added all the beneficial owners of the business so uh I'm gonna do yes if you have any other partners you can obviously go back and add them and then do yes and here this box says I confirm of acting on own behalf or on behalf of registered business and then you click the box and hit next alright so first step is done we have completed the full section of business information and seller information so now we are in the billing section so here they're asking for payment information which is your credit card detail but the good thing is that we don't have any subscription fee in the United Arab Emirates Saudi Arabia and Egypt so it's free for these countries as of now but if you want to expand your business to other countries and for example if you want to sell on other marketplaces through your this Amazon account then you'll be charged 39.99 and if you end up adding your credit card then make sure that your address is correct you can change your address here below or update your address or use an address that's already inside save and once that's done you can click next so that will bring you to this page the billing section is also complete so here they're asking for store and product information so basically here you'll have to put your store name so if you don't have a store name yet or if you have not decided on a name yet then it would be good to just take a little break and decide on a name and then come back and put it here so the next one on here they're asking is do you have Universal product codes UPC codes for all your products so that will be no and then the next one is are you the manufacturer or the brand owner or agent or representative of the brand for any of the products you want to sell on Amazon so that's a yes for me but you can choose whichever fits you better and because I selected yes so they're asking do you own government registered trademark for the Branded products you want to sell on Amazon and I don't have it yet most sellers new sellers won't have a trademark it is not necessary to have one so we'll do no and then we'll do next if you want to know or learn more about this whole trademark with Amazon situation then I have more videos on these topics I'll leave the link for those in my description box below you can check them out so that will bring us to the identity and address verification page so this is where you will be uploading all your legal documents so the first one is business information so here you be uploading your business license or any other important document along with the business license that you think is required one pro tip I can give is that you can put all your papers together of your business license not just one of them and then put all of it in a PDF and just upload them they also have the uploading instruction you can go through this if you want but a PDF always works the best make sure that your documents are readable in full resolution and the sides are not cut off or something like that so the next section is primary contact person information so here you'll be uploading your government issued ID so if you've selected the Emirates ID then you will be uploading that so they have the section for front side and back side and then if you have selected passport so you will get the option ingly and then once you have uploaded everything correctly you can hit next and then that will bring you to this page and that's basically it so here they're saying thank you for sharing your information we have received your information and may reach out to you for further clarification video in two business days and then here are all your information and then you simply wait for them to send you an email so after waiting for two days I've received an email from them so here they're saying dear seller thanks for creating a Seller Central account we have completed verifying your identity as the next step please log into your Seller Central account and activate your account and check if any further action is required and once that's done you are fully inside of your Seller Central this is your dashboard on the top here there is a drop down option where you'll find list of all marketplaces so right now we'll be only selling in the UAE but you have all the other options as well and then you can simply check out all the other options and then list your
