what's going on James Bondies here in this video I'm going to talk to you about how to automate the contract process which also includes onboarding what does that mean that means for your business if you need to have contracts signed you can now do it even in go high level in go high level and you can go and search all in the group this is one of the biggest problems that is now at least for me solved and the reason why is because prior to this we were using a high level to sign contracts but you can't have a copy of it you can't have a PDF of it you don't have a copy sent to an email you didn't really have anything okay and so you will find that most school high level users if they have contracts for clients to sign they're using an outside company like Adobe signature or hello sign things like that we've used hello sign before and it's like a thousand dollars plus a year if not more however now with go high level in this process you can finally get rid of that last software you've been hanging on to you no longer need it if you do this process correctly I'm going to go a little slow I'm going to go a little slow because it's a little confusing okay but it can be done and you can do it I've been trying to solve this problem for a long time and somebody who I who helps me with a lot of go high level stuff asked me if I needed a snapshot for contracts and I said heck yeah I had to pay for it and it was a very big snapshot and so I've dumbed it down to only what I need what you see here I'm going to give away in my free resources because it is like massively done dumbed down except for one process that I took from him the whole you so I'll give you a snapshot to this however if you do want the full-blown snapshot which I believe I showed in this video up here could be wrong but I'll post it up there anyway wait to the end to watch it but in any event I will give the link to purchase it if that's what you want if you want the whole thing and where can you business owner you can utilize this and for those agencies out there if you utilize this in your business you can sell it to your clients if you have clients that need contracts signed I can promise you they're going to want this process it's an easy upsell it's an easy package you can put it in a package or you could just give it to them so they love you even more right we are in a business of relationships just because you find a business who wants to work with you and they're willing to pay you doesn't mean they're going to pay you forever but if you build the relationship with them they potentially will want to only work with you and work with you for the remainder of their business career everything in life is relationships I don't remember who it said somebody said it's not who you know it's whom you know meaning relationships is what decreases churn yeah there's a lot of Leverage you could pull to stop people from churning out of your business but the bottom line is is relationships it's all about relationships and if you could find a core group of five to ten businesses mid tier ticket meaning you're running various services for them you know it's a two hundred thousand dollar a year side hustle business right you build relationships with them you meet with them once a week once every two weeks maybe go out to dinner with them like literally that's what I'm like it's relationship based now it doesn't mean to say that you can't build a huge business from people all around the world because you could build relationships over a zoom you can get on a flight I'm talking down the road if you're in the beginning of this then at least hear my words land clients build relationships with them it'll make your life a lot easier all right so let me show you how this works in the first place okay so uh the example I'm going to give you is a uh coaching program my coaching programs onboarding process and I'm showing this because that's what I built it for uh and then you can literally which I'll be doing you could literally edit this process for your agency okay and so this is the form this is what creates the onboarding process okay and this is just a form now you could also create the onboarding process in the paid version snapshot of this by using go high levels internal invoicing right so they pay from a from a form here and it goes right into here's your contracts on your contract here's some of the questions that I need answered fill this out things like that okay so it could be triggered by a purchase this is triggered by a form this form right here when they fill this form out everything is populated to the contract page okay everything you filled out for them gets populated to the contract page so because we have other people right we have coaches in our business that are the ones filling this out they will come to a basically a a separate page and the client will get a trigger link okay the trigger link will have this information in it so as you can see here there's no member name phone number and so on and so forth but if you take a look at this one this is where the contact name contact phone number all populated from now you can thank me later but I'm going to teach you guys or explain to you a very confusing factor and go high level and that is internal custom fields and values what does that mean internal custom fields and values are basically things you don't change okay for example if I go into my forms all right so I'm in in this form now so you see these here full name first name these are internal custom Fields meaning these are already there all of these are internal okay oh well how are you supposed to know what that actual custom field is well I have a list of them right here okay so if you take a look full name right full name so it would be contact dot name first name first name organization right they call it organization here but the custom field actually is company name okay I don't know why they have it different but it is what it is contact right all contact means is it's the contact that came in to go high level it's the contact that came in to go high level okay and so these all these here are internal custom Fields you don't change them they are what they are okay now if you go into the custom Fields right and we let's say add a custom field in a single nut line and then we or let's call it um I don't know multi-line and hit next okay and we name the field X Y and Z right that would be a custom field and by by the way the object let's say it was contact that would be a custom field that you then would see in settings custom Fields okay this will all make sense in a second internal Uh custom values and fields are right here all right this is basically the form and then anything you create is a custom field will then be in your settings custom fields all right so I hope you got that now even if you don't get it don't worry about it because you don't have to understand all of the nuances you just have to understand enough to make it work okay and so they when this form is filled out through automations we have this in our workflows okay agreement forms submitted in the contract sent this is one of the automations so what does this mean that means that this form this entire form was submitted that's my trigger problem no internal sales team okay create an opportunity again you don't have to you don't have to ever use pipelines but this creates an opportunity and then an email goes out that says hey contact first name right custom fields contact first name thank you so much blah blah but here's the the magic the trigger link see this link right here if I clicked trigger links right I have calendars emails and then a member agreement link that is my trigger link now what populates that trigger link and then by the way we also send them a text with that trigger link they wait and then the rest you don't need okay so if I go over to marketing and I go to trigger links you're gonna see here member agreement link this is the link URL remember what a trigger link is all it is think of trigger links as like a bitly link except the bigger bitly link trigger link is used in go high level to to allow automations to take place okay meaning or not only automations uh data and tracking and stuff like that basically it's saying like if I send this person a text and I want to know if they clicked the link in my text well if I use bitly right all I'm going to see is one click I'm not going to know who clicked it but if I use a trigger link I'm going to know exactly who clicked it and then create an automation around that if I choose to but at least I'll know who clicked that link that's what a trigger link is it's a tracking link essentially the cool thing is is that within this trigger link right if I hit add link I can put a name and put the link URL and it could be .anything right this one currently has lmbcontract.com contract Dash step dash one question mark name equals oh what is all this all right so what this is they call them merge Fields okay custom Fields but this is creating a merged field and what this is is saying that name equals contact dot name contact dot name and phone number equals contact.foam contact DOT phone I'm not gonna go through all these number payments equals contact DOT number of membership payments now watch I'm not going to find that anywhere in here why because that is actually a custom field that I created so if I go over to settings I go over to custom fields and I type in I don't know number I don't know what I called it you see right here number of membership payments contact DOT number underscore you can see it right here which equates to what is in my trigger link right here contact that number underscore of membership payments right so on and so forth this the this basically this trigger Link in the merge URL with all the merged custom values or fields not custom values custom fields these are all merge fields and custom Fields okay so we're just all we're doing is we're saying hey go high level when somebody clicks that link can you please take these fields and match them to my contract right so take the customer's name and put it there take the customer's phone number and put it there take the contract price and put it there the number of payments and put their yada yada right whatever I put on this form will now be merged into the contract it will be merged into this contract okay it's by the way it could be lmv contract it could be xyz.com thing so this URL all it's doing is the trigger when somebody clicks it it's going to send them to the contract with all their information on it that's all you really need to know and if I go into sites and I go into my onboarding funnel because that's really all it is okay my CL my client contract is lmecontract.com contract step one you see this URL right here and in my trigger link I want them to send them to my contract page right so naturally remember trigger links you have to put an actual Link in there right wherever you want to send them all it's doing is tracking The Click but it's not only Now tracking The Click it's now merging the fields okay however that's done in the back end I don't know but I can tell you it works and that's all you need to know so if I come back to sites in my onboarding right I have my client contract now check this out once so you could scroll down I'm going to put the date and then I'm going to do online signature right and then I'm going to hit submit the client is going to hit submit to confirm membership enrollment once I submit that and by the way there's another automation that happens but it has nothing to do with with where they're going down the funnel and I'll touch on that in a second once I hit submit and confirm this will populate a real person okay and then once I hit submit we're going to step two and all that is is in the funnel on that page it says page submission go to the next step I'll show it so I come down here right and by the way all this is is a form okay it's just a form and so if I click the form it's saying prompt this is my form prom note membership full signature and then I redirect action go to the next step that's it I'm telling the system to just bring them to step two of my funnel which is right here they're going to watch the video they're going to click to open and do this they're going to click to open and do this they're going to click to open and do this and then they're going to click and open and then it tells them click the red button down below they click the red button down below and voila they come and they schedule their Zoom onboarding call with one of our team members very very simple right once they do that go to the next step initial onboarding is complete okay what I'm teaching here is sophisticated I understand but this is going to make you stand out Above the Rest anybody can teach go high level the the ins and outs beginner courses I've done 20 beginner courses for my students but the bottom line is that when you get past the beginning stages and you could do something like this or you even have something like this you are no longer the everyday marketer you are now digging into people's businesses creating a systemized automatic way to make people happy remember I said building relationships it's all about building relationships but making them happy it had like if somebody's not happy you're not gonna build a relationship with them they must start after payment to feel good about your business in addition everybody here probably knows who Alex from Ozzy is right I've not personally known him but I've known of him and I've shared the same room with him many of times at click funnel events when we were in the back waiting to receive Awards and I've overheard him speaking I I mean I've had conversations with him not directly but in a group of people and one of the things that always stood out for me and this is going back 2000 and when was my first award 2019 when we got our agency award for doing over a million dollars he basically was talking to a group of people I think Anthony Morrison was one of them who was a big affiliate marketer and he said you know one of the one of the things that you could do like right now to just literally change the course of your business is after a sale is made no matter what industry you're in okay you must always re-assure they have made the right decision how do you reassure it you get them properly onboarded with a system it could be automated it could be personal whatever it might be but either way they must feel reassurance after purchasing if they don't feel that they will immediately get into buyer's remorse matter of fact a lot of people will go into buyer's remorse anyway and then that includes businesses included and so we just want to make sure that we are reassuring our buyers or our customers or our clients I feel like clients is a much more professional name and so if we reassure them we will build the relationships that we need for long-term growth long-term money and just long-term just longevity in general okay so let's jump back into this and let's take a look at what we have going on that actually makes this work okay there's still some things that that need to be done or that worse that are set up that I need to show you okay so we're gonna go over to forms okay and we're gonna go into the signature page I have here initials I don't need that anymore okay so just a signature both of these are custom Fields okay you may say well James where did you get the membership signature it's very simple if you just type in signature you'll see right and you could you can add custom field they have a signature thing down here okay so that's why that's there and that's why you could like write on it okay so it's it's internal but it's still a custom field and so all we need to do is hit add custom field and choose the signature one all right for the date right all I used was today's date as a custom field and then I just changed it like if you take a look here I just changed the name of it to the placeholder name and the Field title and then the query I kept the same which was which was today's underscore date okay this is still a custom field so custom field custom field and now we have automations that are happening okay now somebody could sign this and they could still get to the next step so on and so forth because they're submitting the page right they're submitting it however come into the funnels okay and we look at this page here the contract page what is going on that's allowing the population to happen all right and so and so then if we come into automations and we go back into my automation here you can see here I I had three automations that happened in my process one of them was form submitted right right here that stayed the same we looked at that one already initials I no longer need initials membership agreement sign and login sent I need that right so let's take a look at that my trigger is the member of full signature right remember that's just the form it's the form that they're signing it's that little form that said today's date signature that's my trigger when that gets submitted right we're going to tag them agreement signed right this is all stuff we've already had we're going to welcome them with an email even though they're going through the onboarding process via email we're doing these things we're going to take the opportunity mark it as a win and then down here you don't need to worry about that okay now we jump back here and we go into here this also has a trigger for the full signature membership trigger because now I'm going to internally notify me with a copy of the contract and that they signed and then I'm going to send an email to the client and give them a copy of the contract all right and if you take a look here and I'm going to show you the templates in a second this there's a new student prom note template email template and an internal notification of new student promote copy to us right that's the internal and then here's where I actually ran into a problem I made a mistake and that now I'm adding them to the previous workflow after they signed and that's fine and I'm going to continue to do that but that means that my my signed uh and login sent trigger has to be not the same trigger you can't have two triggers and send somebody that town down two workflows at least I don't think you can and so I'm going to change that what I'm going to do is I'm going to change this to having just a trigger that doesn't exist so it'll be like I'll create like a just like a form that nobody uses and make that form this trigger and then what adds people to this workflow is the membership down here workflow as you can see I'll add it main I'll add it through automation okay and so that's how the whole processes work all right so now that we understand kind of the funnel we understand the form that creates the problem the the contract we understand the form that submits the contract and internally notifies with a copy and then with a copy and then their onboarding process you kind of are almost 80 there so if we go to marketing let's take a look at email templates this is prom note and this is the copy so this one comes to us and this one comes goes to the client okay and so if I click this just pay attention very close all we're doing is I just copy the contract information I uploaded my signature and I have basically this contract with all of the same contact dot these are my Fields right my internal field and my custom Fields okay and that's where this stuff is coming from and if I scroll down and I come in here take a look at this my image URL is going to be the contact is going to be the custom field from the form okay and that is where I'm putting payer signature right here contact dot member signature remember the custom field that I created in the membership signature form all it's doing is adding it here this is just an image URL that I that I uploaded online this is just a copy of the agreement and these are all the same custom fields that I already have in my signature and now I'll show you live like these are some of the people who came in I'm gonna have to blur out some of the information but for example yesterday this one came in and here's the information and it all got populated and brought in to my thing to my email with our signatures and everybody is happy go lucky okay now let me kind of go through a quick backtrack here right we have an onboarding funnel with a form that starts and triggers everything the form is filled out it could be by you it could be by a sales person it could be by any anything right that's what starts it the information from the form are our uh fields and custom Fields internal custom fields and external and ones that we create it is true the information is pulled from the system via a trigger link that we set over here that looks like this with merge Fields okay these are merge Fields with custom Fields I know it gets a little confusing here but if you just set it up this way it'll be fine right you can just replace these with whatever you want to call it all right if I click that it's going to bring up basically nothing right and it's going to bring up nothing is because I didn't fill a form out right if I would have filled a form out it would look like this and let me do it I'm just gonna really quick go through this okay so I just filled out some some all information okay and I hit submit okay this is my this is for my coaches see what happens is is that now my coach says okay cool Coach sales person this form has been submitted the student or client now we'll follow the initial onboarding process so what's going to happen is well I can do it right now okay now as a client I'm getting signature needed last step I click this here's my trigger link right that was all done in the automations I click the trigger link and here's my information that got populated now take a look at the URL right here's the the funnel URL question mark name equals merge field and phone equals that or name equals this and phone equals that these are all numbers and address address equals this address blah blah right email equals this payment blah blah blah and that gets all populated here now me I click the trigger link right so now I'm going to date it I'm going to sign I'm going to hit submit now it's submitting the signature form it brings me to my onboarding I click this I look at what to do boom I'm a client I'm so happy I made this decision blah blah blah and now it says oh last step red button below I click the red button below and I pick my onboarding blah blah and then I come to the last step me right if I go to my actual email where I have the automation to send copies I scroll up James bondy signed the prom note looks safe you're gonna get that yellow message with internal notifications that's just what it is the client doesn't get that message here's a copy of contract awesome and here's our signatures voila and that's it and there's nothing better than that and I finally I finally feel like like I don't have anything to worry about anymore in life if you liked this video smash it that like button the more like buttons I get okay
