How to create outlook signature

[Music] yo what's up everyone welcome back to tim's tech talk episode three today's episode we're going to talk about the deal manager preview feature in dynamics and the two main areas we're gonna focus on are how can we visualize this data and how can we make updates to our opportunities more efficiently to save us time and effort so let's jump right into it let's go zach's an account manager who's logged into his dynamics 365 environment and has launched his deal manager from the sitemap on the left hand side immediately what jumps outside is the deal tracker bubble chart in the center of the page here we can see his opportunities in a bubble chart format based on the size of the estimated deal when they're supposed to close and the opportunity score so as he looks into this bubble chart he can see when they're supposed to close the size of the estimated revenue the score and grade scc's fit as he looks through he can hover over the different bubble charts to see the different information about these opportunities so he sees that these two opportunities are coming up and he sees those two semi-automatic espresso machines so he clicks on it and it launches the opportunity information well you can see the key details you can see the rating the estimated revenue an estimated close date he can also scroll down and see who the primary contact is any notes that he's tracking about this and any tasks that need to be done so we can see here he needs to call back and answer his delivery questions he asked during this last call and then he added a task to call the customer to discuss well he then receives an email saying that you know he's really going to push this out towards october to close this deal unfortunately so he can now simply go in and edit the estimated close date directly within the deal manager and you'll watch that this bubble chart will update in real time as these fields get updated so now you can see that this is moved over to the right hand side for when it's supposed to close in addition to the bubble chart we can also see a sales funnel so we can see our estimated revenue by the different pipeline phase right well here we can see the qualify versus propose versus develop we can see how what's the total how many opportunities are making that up if we go down to the bottom of the page we can actually extend this by pulling this to the top and now we can see the top 14 opportunities by their estimated close date we can see the topics where we can edit the name or even launch this opportunity directly from within the application here in the deal manager well this is kind of hard to see and understand so what he wants to do next actually group this by the account so he's going to scroll down and group by the account page and now we can start to group our opportunities by the account that they are represented about we can expand these to show the different opportunities by this account now you can also see that that 790 000 actually should be 79 000 not 790 000 so you can go ahead and make an edit directly from within here to update this opportunity accurately there that looks a little bit more reasonable to him he can then go ahead and edit and add more columns or remove columns as he sees fit so any columns that we're tracking data about these opportunities he can now go in add these columns to the chart we're going to add a basic column and all these columns are now going to show that he could add in to the opportunity deal manager page to be able to see and or make updates to in real time so we're going to go ahead and create the created on date and then close out as we scroll to the right we can now see the time in which it was created all right well that does it for this episode of tim's tech talk where we talked about deal manager inside d365 please keep in mind this is a preview feature so functions may change as it gets closer to general availability if you have any questions don't hesitate to leave them in the comments below and like and subscribe thanks
