The BEST Decision We Made

What do you like best?

We were previously using an all-paper hiring and on-boarding method. We switched all those documents over to Sign Now, and our whole process is so much easier and smoother. We have 7 terminals in 3 states so being all-paper was cumbersome and, frankly, silly. We've removed so much of the burden from our terminal managers so they can do what they do: manage the business.

Easy to use, increases productivity

What do you like best?

I love that I can complete signatures and documents from the phone app in addition to using my desktop. As a busy administrator, this speeds up productivity . I find the interface very easy and clear, a big win for our office. We have improved engagement with our families , and increased dramatically the amount of crucial signatures needed for our program. I have not heard any complaints that the interface is difficult or confusing, instead have heard feedback that it is easy to use. Most importantly is the ability to sign on mobile phone, this has been a game changer for us.

How to create outlook signature

[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hello friends uh my name is rajan goyal um as anna has introduced me already i'm a registered migration agent at aussies perth um so i'm here to present this session um in the conclave here today so the topic is obviously management and marketing occupations and the pr pathways in the future um so we are gonna just i'm gonna share my page and and begin from the slides here so as um as i said earlier the topic of today is management and marketing occupations and the pr and the pr pathways in these occupations so just the intro here the services that aussies group offers is migration assistance um uh education enrollment and career guidance we also offer pt ielts coaching ccl coaching which is ngati uh health insurance and we offer professional enrollment as well so as far as the management and marketing occupations are concerned the popular occupations are management consultant marketing specialist hotel manager restaurant or cafe manager sales and marketing manager human resources manager advertising manager uh there are some other occupations as well such as recruit recruitment consultant uh human resources advisor etc etc so you'll get a general idea as we move through the slides of what these occupations entail and what are the chances for getting pr in australia now the first and foremost thing uh for any occupation whether it be marketing or management or any other occupation whatsoever is that you have to get a skills assessment in that occupation you do not uh for you to be able to call yourself a hotel manager uh or or uh management consultant or whatever occupation you have to have a skills assessment in that occupation although by simply studying for the occupation doesn't mean that you have got this you are you are actually that occupation for migration purposes so until and unless you've got the skills assessment for that particular occupation you do not have that occupation and every occupation has different skills assessing bodies and and everybody has different criteria for various occupations and you have to make sure that you meet that criteria in order to be able to get the skills assessment for that occupation so the first and foremost step as i said is getting a skills assessment for an occupation uh for most of the managing and marketing occupations there are two skills assessment bodies uh the first one is institute institute of managers and leaders uh so this testifies um many marketing and management occupations and then the second one is wet assess and there are many of the management and marketing operations which which actually are assessed by medicine i'll just go through the occupations which are assessed by uh institute of managers and leaders and and better separately um so i'll discuss the metastasis first the medicine criteria for whichever occupations such as management consultant marketing specialists whichever occupations are assessed by medicines uh the criteria is mostly the same for all the occupations um the applicant needs to have a minimum of bachelor or a higher qualification and and after after the qualification they need to have one year highly relevant work experience as well uh in in their nominated occupation some of the occupations which are assessed by veterans such as a restaurant manager you only need to have a diploma or a higher qualification but you you always need to have one year post qualification experience in the last five years for you to get a successful skills assessment from veda says so i think restaurant manager is possibly the only um managerial level uh occupation which which you can have uh where you can have a diploma or higher qualification rest most of the occupations uh in the in this unit group require you to have a minimum of a bachelor or higher and one year post qualification experience uh in the last five years some of the occupations such as management consultant um environment manager or other occupations you might need to submit organization charts as well so as to prove to veto says that you were actually performing the the the occupation at the at the relevant uh in the relevant hierarchy and you fit into the uh you and the position was general enough so yeah the criteria for vertices uh as i said is the education plus one year post qualification work experience and that should be in the highly relevant the job duties should be very similar to your nominated occupation and the basic criteria for occupations which are assessed by institute of managers and leaders is that you should have a bachelor's or master's degree which should be comparable to an equivalent australian qualification framework qualification and obviously you need to have employment experience as well so institute of managers and leaders has a little bit strict criteria where you have to have at least a minimum of three years of experience and out of those three years you have to have worked for at least two years as a manager so you could be working uh as a management consultant uh for three years but in the out of those three years for the last two years you should have at least worked in a managerial capacity to to be able to get a skills assessment a successful skills assessment from institute of managers and leaders um well where the applicant does not hold a relevant bachelor's or master's degree they still have a pathway but you have to have but the experience requirement increases you have to be working for at least five years in your nominated occupation and out of those five years at least two years should be in a managerial capacity uh so it's the both the pathways are available where you have a relevant bachelor's you just need an experience of three years where you do not have a relevant bachelor's um so you you should you must hold a bachelor's though i mean it's just about uh whether the bachelor's is relevant or not so if it's not relevant you need at least five years of uh experience where it is relevant you only need three years of experience okay moving on to the next slide just bear with me um so just to give you an overview of various occupations uh managerial and marketing occupations uh and and uh and the availability in various states uh obviously as i said earlier i cannot reiterate this point enough that you do not have an occupation until you get the skills assessment for an occupation so firstly you have to make sure that you meet the skills assessment criteria that is the experience criteria and the qualifications criteria and once you have a skills assessment then you figure out whether the occupation is on a particular state's list or not and if it is there then you will probably need to meet the additional criteria uh as as as uh as a state requires you to have so this these popular occupations that are right there on your screen like let's say management consultant uh this occupation particular occupation is on the mlt ssn list um i'll explain you about this list in a minutes time what is mlt ssl list or sds or list now this occupation as you could see on the screen here is available in for nsw regional which is the 491 visa it is there in the south australian list it is there in the wa list uh or not sorry it's not there in the wales but it's there on the act list marketing specialist in a similar manner is there on the nsw regional uh south australian occupation list uh northern territory and act hotel manager again uh nsw regional um tasmanian list it's there south australia is there nt it's their w it's their act it's not there hotel manager obviously it seems to be on most of the state's list restaurant manager um again there on the nsw regional tasmania south australia northern territory wa again a popular occupation and is there on the on most of the state's list sales and marketing manager um south australia and northern territory habit and so so does the act human resource manager nsw regional um south australia northern territory wa advertising manager south australia northern territory wa sorry not wa but act so these are the availability of these occupations in various state lists so once you get the skills assessment as i said you have to figure out which state has that particular occupation and then you have to meet additional criteria required by the state um before i come on to this slide um okay so these are the visa categories in the general skill migration category so we've got subclass 189 we've got subclass 190 we've got subclass 491 state sponsored and we've got subclass 491 family sponsored so let's begin with subclass 189 so subclass 189 is not a state state-sponsored visa it's a federal independent visa all you have to all you need for this to become eligible for this visa is that you need your occupation to be on the mlt ssl list as i was explaining earlier the mlt ssl list and the stso list so medium and long term strategic list uh your if your occupation is on this list uh you are eligible for for 189 visa but you have to meet the other additional eligibility criteria as well that is you should have a minimum score of 65 points be under 45 and you should be obviously be invited to apply apply as i said have a suitable skills assessment is a must and have at least competent english now the first point be invited to apply that's a little bit uh tricky because you although you become eligible for for this visa at 65 points normally you do not get invited for this visa for less than 85 to 90 points or so in some occupations even 95 to 100 points because of the number of people applying uh eligible under this visa category so you have to make sure you have high enough points to be able to to become eligible for to get invited under this category then we've got state-sponsored visas which is 190 and 491. under 190 and 491 you have to these are both state-sponsored visas you have to meet the criteria laid out by the state normally the points threshold is much less than that of the 189 category in these two categories but uh in in these two categories which is which are the state-sponsored categories 190 and 491 you have to meet additional criteria which is now every state has their own criteria uh nsw may have a criteria which is different from south australia south australia may have a criteria which is different from wa uh for example uh nsw regional some of the regions in nsw may require you to at least study there for two years you have to meet that criteria or they may require you to at least work in your nominated occupation for at least 12 months uh in in that particular area let's say riverina requires you to has has accountant on its list they require you to work there for one year in as an accountant only then you will become eligible uh for every state uh uh nomination so that is one of the region in new south wales similarly wa has this requirement for most of the occupations where you have to work in where you have to study in wa for at least two years before you become eligible so you have to meet that criteria in order to become eligible for wa or nsw or south australia as the case might be so you simply cannot meet uh you cannot be nominated for a for a for by a state if you have the occupation on the state list and you've got a skills assessment for it you have to meet the additional state criteria whatever that criteria may be and and as i said it is different from each state so you just have to go through that criteria and make sure you meet it uh but normally the points threshold is pretty low as compared to the 189 category you might get invited at even 60 65 points by some of the states uh by some of the other states you may you may have to score a little bit of higher score but it is generally less than what you require to have in 189 category uh under the 190 you get five points from the state and under the 491 category you get 15 points from the state obviously you have to meet the same you have to fulfill all these conditions as well which you require to like be under 45 suitable skills assessment occupation on the list um and competent english is a must and at least a total of 65 points including the state points which is five points for the 190 and 15 points for the 491 uh for the 491 family sponsored visas uh you should have an eligible this is not a state sponsored visa this is not an independent visa this is a family sponsored visa as the name suggests uh the the basic criteria for this visa is that you should have a family member who's living in regional area uh now the family member has a definition in the law uh uncles aunties uh first cousins are included in that uh definition brothers and sisters obviously are so if you have a family member who's who's a pr or a citizen and who's residing in regional australia now every every region in every part of this country is regional except for sydney melbourne and brisbane so except for metropolitan sydney metropolitan brisbane and metropolitan melbourne if your relative is residing in any other part of the country you could be eligible for for this under this category but the eligible skilled occupation list under this category is mlt ssl list so you have to have your occupation on the mlt ssl list as is the case with the subclass 189 which is an independent visa so in both these categories which is uh 189 and 491 family sponsored you should have your occupation on the mlt ssl list otherwise you are not eligible under both these categories moving on to the next slide just to go through various states criteria as i said various marketing and management occupations are available on various state lists you just have to um so that i'll just go through the each state's criteria just a brief uh overview of the criteria that each state has so for the nsw 190 all they require you to have is you should be living in nsw at the time they invite you uh for the state nomination so um if you're living there if you have the intention to live there in nsw which you can prove by bank statements lease agreement driver's license etc etc then uh and you meet obviously uh this criteria and your occupation is on the list you've got the successful skills assessment then you could be nominated by the nsw state for 190 visa but because the criteria is not hard you do not have to study in nsw you do not have to be living there for long you do not even have to be working in your nominated occupation the points threshold is a little bit higher for nsw 190. normally people only get invited at 85 to 95 points uh in in occupations which are there on the nsw 190 list for nsw 491 which is sponsored by nsw regions you have there are different criteria uh you you should at least be studying there for two years or you should be working there for at least 12 months in your nominated occupation uh to be able to obviously all the regions have their own skill list occupation lists as well so you should make sure that the occupation that you have the skills assessment for is there on the nsw regions that you're trying to apply for and after you've found out that your occupation is on the nsw regions list you have to meet this additional criteria where you should at least be living there and working there for at least one year or you should have studied there for at least two years now some of the states can even some of the regions can even invite you if you if you've been only working there for three months but that's on a case-by-case basis and and it's only applicable to some of the regions not all but this is the major criteria which is applicable to 491 nsw regions if we talk about south australia state nominations now south australia uh has various criteria for for various streams uh it has different criteria for people who've studied in uh south australia and it has a different criteria for people who actually uh who moved to south australia from interstate who studied somewhere else um so if you've completed a bachelor degree or higher qualification from south australia you should be working um in your closely related occupation or your nominated occupation uh for the last three months and then you become eligible for south australian state nomination uh obviously this work experience requirement can be waived off uh if you're applying on the talent and innovators program um there are other exemptions as well to this three-month exp experience criteria for for south australian graduates uh there are the other criteria is that um for for normally for 491 uh people should be working in the nominated unless i mean this is this is not applicable on people who actually saw the australian graduates but people who moved from interstate or whatever the case might be they should be working in some of the occupations for at least six months before they become eligible and uh and um and for in this criteria also there are waivers available for long-term residents and under the talent and innovators program our applica applicants living and working in regional south australia like outside of adelaide the south australian occupational nomination is occupation specific so different occupations have different requirements so some occupations may require you to only work there for six months uh some occupations may require you to work there for one year so for example registered nurse you may only require to work six months to become eligible for 491 and for for let's say accountants you might uh you may have to work for at least one year become before you become eligible for the south australian 491 nomination as far as the victorian state nominations are concerned uh the the victorian state nomination currently is uh influenced by pandemic so they're only inviting people who are working in the critical sector uh occupation uh really does not matter they do not have a specific occupation list at the moment um so you if you're working it for six months uh in medical health or research uh and you're supporting victorian economy then you could be uh and inside you could be invited for 190 you just have to put up a registration of interest and for 491 visa you have to be working there for at least three months uh in the critical sectors as is defined under the 491 visa on their website if you're working there for three months um um then you could be eligible uh to be invited under the phone and victorian 491 category uh so yeah as i said there's no specific occupation list uh it's just based on whether you're working in that critical sector which are defined for 190 which is different for 190 and for 491. so you just have to go on to the website and look for the definition of the critical sector for the victorian state nominations for the queensland state nomination um the the 190 criteria is that you have to have a full-time experience in your nominated occupation in queensland and you have to have a job of a letter for further 12 months of employment as well there might be additional experience required for some of the occupations and for the 491 regional uh visa for for for graduates you should have at least three months of full-time work experience in your nominated occupation in regional queensland and a further job of a letter of 12 months might be needed as well um there is another business pathway as well in queensland you might want to explore that if you have you have to invest hundred thousand dollars in a business in regional queensland and you might become eligible but that is yeah so it's not occupation specific really as far as the act state criteria is concerned uh the basic criteria is that you have to be working and living in a ct for at least six months and and for 491 you have to be working and living in a city for at least three months now act requires you to have a certain points [Music] on the act matrix so you do not have to be necessarily working in your nominated occupation but you may want to have a look at the act matrix table matrix table and see whether you would be able to get able to gain high enough points uh to get invited for the act let's say you might find that information on the act website that let's say for registered nurses uh people are getting invited at 70 points um so you you if you look at the matrix table you get points for english you even get points for your partner's english you get points for work having your occupation in the nominated in in the critical list um you you do get extra points if you're working in your nominated occupation as well but if you're able to gather uh 70 points even without working in your nominated occupation then also a ct would be able to nominate you even if you have high enough points uh which which uh which act is able to invite you at uh moving on to uh tasmanian state um nomination criteria for 190 state nomination tasmanian requires you to study there for at least two years or or be working there for at least six months uh in your nominated occupation for an employer who's actively who has been actively operating in tasmania for the last 12 months so you cannot just simply uh start working in a new organization which has just set up its shop in tasmania so you should be at least working for six months in your nominated occupation for an employer which has been operating for the last 12 months for 491 um uh you can you can meet this criteria for 491 for by even studying there for one year obviously uh there has to be a a particular level of study uh which is mentioned on the tasmanian website uh you it just cannot be any study you have to show employability as well uh and all or if you are not studying you can meet this criteria by uh working there for at least six months um for an employer which is actively operating for the last 12 months um now this six months experience for the 491 tasmanian state nomination does not have to be in your nominated occupation but but there are many occupations that are excluded from this list like you could not be working you cannot be driving a taxi or uber you cannot be working at a petrol station so there are many occupations which are specifically excluded from this list and you may have to show employability in whatever operation that you have been working in in the future as well uh for you to be able to get nominated by tasmanian state um wa state uh requires you to uh for 190 you have to be actually for most of the occupations in the 190 state nomination you have to be you have to have studied in wa for at least two years uh after you've completed your studies you'll also need a six months job of a letter uh in your nominated occupation or closely related occupation uh if you or you could you should have at least six months of post qualification work experience in your nominated or closely related occupation uh to be eligible for wa190 there is other stream as well general stream in which uh you you there but there are very few occupations in that general list most of the occupations are in the graduate list where you should have studied in wa for at least two years for the 491 the criteria is absolutely the same there's no difference except for the fact that you get 15 points for the 491 extra from the state while for 190 you only get five points so exactly the same criteria is 192 years of study in wa for the under the graduate stream and and six months of full-time work experience or or uh or six months of job of a letter in your nominated or closely related uh occupation um as i was speaking earlier when we saw that chart where mlt ssl your occupation has to be on the mlt ssl list uh for the 189 and 491 family sponsored um and and the occupation has to be on the stso list for the 190 and 491 state sponsored occupation so yeah mlt ssl list is medium and long term strategic skills list um so this list was introduced on 19th of april 2017. so you should have an occupation on this list uh if you're applying for uh 189 491 family sponsored and also for the temporary graduate visa unfortunately not many of the marketing and management occupations are available on the mlt ssl list other than a very few such as management consultant so let's say uh you've done the relevant studies for the occupation management consultant you get a provisional skills assessment from vet ss uh you can be you you then could be eligible for uh uh 485 visa but obviously if you've studied masters or bachelor's uh in australia then obviously you do not need to have an occupation or a skills assessment you could simply apply for the graduate visa and get it two years or three years depending on whether whether you've studied from regional area or metropolitan sydney melbourne or brisbane so yeah if you've done masters of bachelors in australia it doesn't matter what your occupation is you can simply get a graduate be there anyway but but if you've not done masters or bachelor's and you're relying on your diploma or then you should have your occupation on the mlt ssl list for you to be able to get the 485 graduate visa but yeah most of these occupations as you already know uh managerial marketing occupations require you to have a bachelor's of masters and if you've done masters you should be able to get a graduate visa and then you can obviously uh get work experience and once you fulfill that work experience requirement you can get a skills assessment and then you can meet the additional state criteria depending on which state you're living in or or which stage you're moving to sds or list this is applicable to state-sponsored visas which is subclass 190 and 491 you must have an occupation on the sdsu list uh this list was also introduced um on in april 2017 um so just another list for occupations which your occupation should be on along along with the state list now every occupation on this if you have an occupation on this list does not make you automatically eligible for the state nomination now every state has their own list as well so you should make sure that your operation should be on the state list as well in order to become eligible for that particular state so yeah just having this having your occupation on this list doesn't mean that you become eligible for state sponsorship um now obviously as i said earlier there are various requirements for skills assessment uh most of these occupations managerial and marketing occupations require you to have at least one year of work experience or more in your nominated occupation which should be post qualification uh so obviously working in your nominated occupation will help you get your skills assessment uh not only it will help you got your skills assessment but you can use those point uh that work experience uh to score five more points uh because you get five points for the one-year work experience but obviously uh the work has to be performed at the at the skill level and uh and obviously uh some some states might require you to have one year work experience let's say south australia requires you to study in sydney but you now want to get eligible for south australian state nomination and south australia requires you to have one year experience in your particular occupation so you can move move to that particular state and gain that one-year work experience in that state and once you've gained that work experience you not you you'll become eligible for the south australian state nomination because you've worked there for one year and you'll also become eligible for the skill skills assessment because you fulfill that one year work requirement post qualification money or work requirement as was required by the skills assessing body so you've actually sort of uh sort of uh made yourself eligible for the state nomination as well as for the skills assessment at the same time uh without wasting any uh one more year uh so yeah just make sure as soon as you graduate or even before you graduate go through the criteria of the skills assessment and and sort of uh make sure that you're aware whether you need one year work experience and once you're aware of the fact that you need one year work experience go through various states criteria as well so that you can decide your future pathway correctly and you can move either move to that particular state or remain in your state and fulfill that criteria if you would be if you could possibly um so yeah so there are lots of benefits of working in your nominated operation obviously the added benefit is that you gain experience which essentially means that you'll be able to gain employment in the future and all these occupations are very um very highly paid operations in australia most of the managing and marketing occupations once you are experienced in these occupations i'm pretty sure you'll do well in your life as well because they've got great career opportunities in general um now we are we're done with the visas which which are points based visas so for the points based visas uh the basic requirements are that you should be you should have a skills assessment once you've got a skills assessment you should meet the state criteria or the 189 criteria you should have high enough points to get nominated in the under the 189 category or 491 family sponsored category and your occupation should be on the mlt ssl list so once you meet that criteria uh you can get invited based on how many points you've got now if if you're not able to gather enough points for for some reason and you do not meet any state criteria let's say your occupation is simply not on any any states list and you cannot meet criteria for whatever reason then you could obviously look at the employer-sponsored visas as well now employer-sponsored visas require you to have a minimum of two years work experience starting um for for the 482 visa which is the temporary visa uh now this two years work experience could be from anywhere in the world it doesn't uh does not necessarily have to be in australia an australian experience and that is the case with the skills assessment as well by the way so let's say you had a relevant bachelor's back back in your home country from overseas and you had a relevant work experience back in back in your home country which was post qualification of one year then you could possibly apply for the better skills assessment for that particular occupation it doesn't have to be a an australian experience and it doesn't have to be after the qualifications you've studied in australia it could be from anywhere in the world and same is the case for the employer sponsored visas the two years experience requirement can be from anywhere in the world but it has to be normally it has to be post qualification now for some reason if you only got one year work experience and and you are in australia and your visa is going to expire then you can also you have the option of applying for a training visa as well which only requires you to have one year work experience in the last two years or you should have completed your studies in the last two years so you can gain that extra one-year work experience requirement for the 482 visa on on a training visa and then subsequently apply for the 482 visa and then possibly apply for the 494 or 186 visa depending on which occupation list your occupation is on so occupations which uh are on the stsol list uh can only apply for the 482 in the short term stream uh which essentially means that you can apply for the 482 which is a temporary visa for at least you'll get it for two years and then you can get an extension for another two years uh but you cannot apply for the permanent path residency pathway through the 482 visa so you'll either have to apply for the 491 494 visa after you've got a minimum of three years work experience 494 is a regional visa i'll just explain that in detail in a second time so yeah basically 482 visa you can get it for four years if you've got your occupation on the mlt ssl list and your you've got a minimum work experience of at least two years which should be full time as well and if your occupation is on the stso list you can only get a 402 visa for two years plus an extension of another two years if your operation is on the sdsu list and you had a minimum experience of two years which was full-time now moving on to other employer-sponsored visas we've got 186 uh direct entry or now 186 visa is a permanent employee sponsored visa it's got two streams in it direct entry or trt temporary transition screen so under the direct entry stream in 186 you should have three years of full-time work experience as as compared to only two years requirement in the 482 once you have three years of full-time work experience and you've got your occupation on the mlt ssl list just just make sure that your occupation should be on the mldss list to be eligible for this 186 permanent deploy sponsor visa so you've got your three years experience that could be from any employer whatsoever under the direct entry then and and you've got a skills assessment for your particular occupation then you can apply for the 186 direct country and become a permanent resident under the employer sponsor category now under the trd stream if you've been working on a 482 visa for at least three years and you've got your occupation on the mlt ssl list you can move on to the 186 direct entry in this case you do not require to have skills assessment you can simply move on to the trt stream after having worked for three years and under the 482 visa but your occupation has to be on the mlt assessor list nonetheless and uh it's regardless of which stream you're applying under uh now uh if your occupation is not on the mlt ssl list uh the other visa which could lead to permanent residency in australia is the 494 visa which is the regional provisional employer sponsored visa now under this visa category you should have your occupation on the ro list which is regional occupation list it's a very wide list and your employer should be based out of regional australia it should the employee should not be in sydney melbourne or brisbane as i was explaining earlier the definition of regional australia you should have at least three years of full-time work experience in the last five years the experience has to be highly skilled post qualification and you should have a skills assessment uh in your nominated occupation as well obviously the age limit for all the visas normally all the visas in australia is 45 years so you should be under 45 years obviously there are concessions available under the labor agreement stream uh or some other concessions as well but uh but very few so mostly you should be under 45 years of old for any skilled migration under the if you're applying a skilled migration category in australia so 494 is for people who who do not have their occupation on the mlt ssl list they they get this visa for five years if you continue working for an employer for at least three years under this visa uh you would become eligible for the permanent visa which is subclass 191 which will be introduced soon by the department but this is a very good visa to have you become eligible for medicare card and and and obviously you've got you'll be working for the employer full time for at least three years um before um so this was uh all about the managerial and marketing occupations um uh in australia so uh just to sum it up uh we we need to have a skills assessment first for most of the points based visas at least so skills assessment is a must so most of these occupations require you to have either one year or three years of experience if you are being assessed by institute of managers and leaders now um as i was saying earlier um the list of the list of most popular occupations which is um this list uh under this list as you could see manage these four occupations uh at the on the top marketing specialist hotel manager restaurant cafe manager these are all assessed by wet ss obviously there are other occupations as well in this category the these three occupations at the bottom sales and marketing manager human resources manager advertising manager uh they are assessed by institute of managers and leaders so obviously better says only requires you to have one year of work experience highly relevant after the highly relevant bachelor's or master's or diploma as the case might be but institute of managers and leaders uh require you to have at least sort of uh three years of work experience if you've got a relevant bachelor's uh and out of those uh three years you should be working in a managerial role for at least two years so yeah make sure you're eligible for skills assessment for one of these occupations once you're eligible for skill assessment i think uh we can work out uh how to be make ourselves eligible for either the state uh nomination or 189 or even the employer-sponsored categories um um so um i hope uh you get a you've got a general idea of how these operations work uh i've got some um other information for you as well i've just gathered some data regarding these occupations if you can just bear with me i've just gathered some data about various managerial occupations here i hope everybody can see this excel sheet so if we talk about this occupation human resource manager as you could see uh the various eois people have in place so at 65 points for 190 uh only 22 eois are at the moment and for the 491 even less than 20. for at 70 points only 42 euis are in place so as you could see not many eois are there so there's a high chance of people getting there's very less competition uh in this occupation so not many eoi is in place possibly because people cannot fulfill the skills assessment criteria or the state nomination criteria um so and if we look at this graph here which is subclass i hope people can see these gra circles here which says one of the circles says subclass 190 eoi distribution uh so you could see that 42 of the eois are from victoria um 37 percent are from nsw uh there's nobody in tasmania who's put up an eoi uh under this occupation um and and um and rest of them are like the 21 percent uh most of the people who are human resources manager um if you can see this heading where it says where human resources managers work in australia so most of these people are working in nsw or or victoria these are the obviously uh high-density states so most of these people who are in this occupation work in these states so the the basic idea for gathering this obviously i'll place these slides in the links as well uh so the basic idea is not many people are applying for eois under these occupations uh obviously there are more popular occupations such as cafe manager or restaurant manager where you only require where they only require you to have a diploma anybody can in the relevant field and then one year post qualification experience so let's say if you've got a diploma of hospitality management which is not very hard to do and one year of post qualification work experience as a restaurant manager you can qualify for restaurant manager and apply under that occupation um rithika um is asking me whether i could show any other just a second rithika rajan i can read out the question for you okay so thank you anna if you could do that first question is from maria what is the best strategy to get the pr for the management consultant occupation in terms of the sponsor uh which state type of employer and industry so if we look at the management consultant occupation uh the management consultant occupation is on the mlt ssl list as i was discussing earlier so uh you've got uh visa options for this particular occupation under the under under the 189 category as well as on the under the 190 491 and the 491 family sponsored category as well so let's say you've got a family member who's living in regional australia and and falls within the definition of the family member and is a pr or a citizen you can even apply under this uh occupation on the on the um under the family sponsors stream so you only need around 80 to 85 points under the family sponsors stream to become eligible uh as far as the states are concerned let me just bring up the states which have this operation on the list spare with me for a second so yeah management consultant uh is there on the nsw regional um uh list uh is there on the south australian list is there on the act list as well um so so if we talk about nsw regions most of the regions require you to have at least so you have to go to the particular region uh where this occupation might be so there are dif there are quite a few regions in nsw so most of the regions require to actually at least work there for at least one year if you haven't studied there for at least two years so you could actually move into one of those regions and find yourself a job as a management consultant and once you fulfill that one your work experience requirement in those regions you will definitely be eligible to get nominated by that particular region and if you talk about south australia south australia requires to have one year work experience as a management consultant so if you move to adelaide and work there for one year if you haven't studied there already so most of the states have have this criteria where you should have either studied from those states or you should have at least worked in those states so if you've not studied from a particular state you should be working there for at least six months to one year um uh for if you worked as a management consultant in adelaide let's say for six months you you become eligible for 491 regional states nomination and if you work there for one year you become eligible for 190 state nomination so you if you are not eligible right now for any state you could think of moving to one of the states where you think you could get a job and you work there for six months or one month one year as the case might be and you could become eligible for that particular state and as i said earlier there's not much competition in this field you could definitely see yourself getting invited even after one year from now obviously there are no guarantees but but this is very it's very likely that you'll get nominated by state once you get that work experience the next question is from info hi i have worked in mnc's probably he's saying management consultant um in india like optus and fis worked as assistant manager do you think it it is considered as management consultant um well the thing is um sorry what was the name of the info info okay so the thing is uh so you have to look at um the duties under the management consultant so the titles of the occupation do not matter uh the thing is uh there's a there's a thing called ansco which is australian and new zealand classification of occupations so you have to go on that website and look at the duties which are mentioned under that occupation so if you are performing those all those duties which are listed under that particular occupation uh you should normally become you should normally be eligible obviously you should not be in a lower enough role for management consultant particularly you'll need to give uh the organization chart as well and you should fit uh right in the hierarchy of the management consultant in order to be able to get a successful skills assessment and and the duties that you were performing in your job should match the duties which are listed under that uh occupation uh in the and score so you can just type antsco and look for management consultant and once you figure out the duties if you think the duties that you were performing in the job match the duties the obviously it should not the duty should not be hundred percent same uh but yeah if the bulk of the duties match that occupation you should be able to get a skills assessment and once you get the skills assessment as i said you just have to make yourself eligible for one of the states or or the 189491 category and then we can put up an expression of interest thank you rajan um just to let everyone know if you want to look for your occupation on the nsco i have just shared a link for you guys as well you can just follow that link and you can search if your occupation is in the mlt ssl or sdoso list or not um the other question let me just scroll up um yeah from maria is it required to apply to the state government for a family sponsored 491 visa no maria the state's uh the family sponsored visa is independent uh of any state so it's not a state sponsored visa it's simply a family sponsored visa all you need is a family member which as i said which falls within the definition of family member as provided in the migration law uh aunties uncles first cousins are included in the definition and they should be pr or citizen of australia and they should be usually resident in in a regional area so if they've recently moved to a regional area that's fine as well as long as they can prove the intention of living in a regional area like in the future as well so yeah so they should be domiciled in that regional area so it's not it's not state-sponsored it doesn't matter which state you are living in uh you could be living in sydney but your family member has to be living in uh regional australia that is that is place other than sydney melbourne or brisbane um ritika is asking can you show recruitment consultant or management consultant numbers as well i think the the last okay i hope you can see this excel sheet now uh so yeah so this this particular occupation um sorry just bear with me so this particular occupation is on the mlt ssl list uh so it's eligible for both under the 189 and the 190 category as you could see uh at uh there are people who there are around 46 eois at 90 points even and 68 uis under the 190 category and less than 20 under the 491 category because because people who've got the work experience requirement and fulfill the state's criteria in this occupation would mostly become eligible for 189 and 190. um so yeah so the state um so if you look at the state wise criteria so nsw has the most number of uis under the 190 category uh nsw has 231 eois in the system for one under the 190 so there are 231 people with in nsw who are eligible for 190 possibly under this occupation and 58 under the 491 nsw regions uh not many other states have uh uh so yeah so queensland has 34 south australia has 25 victoria has 59. uh obviously uh you have to meet additional state criteria as well so i'm hoping all these people meet the state criteria and these are the numbers here um so yeah if you can see the percentage here 37 percent of the eois in the system are from nsw um so yeah so this is the these are the numbers for the occupation management consultant and which occupation are the occupation they were saying about hannah um management consultant recruitment consultant and management consultant so recruitment consultant these are the numbers for recruitment consultant it's not on the one at nine list uh very few ui is not much competition in this uh occupation uh 27 so at 80 points 35 eois in the 190 category 75 points 42 uh 70.53 so most of the people as you could see are gathering 70 to 75 points in this occupation and they should hopefully get invited as they meet the state criteria the next question is uh what is the best strategy after studying advertising is there only one occupation on the list which is the advertising manager um this question is from warringa um just bear with me america let me just pull out the data for advertising manager so as you can see uh from the screen here uh the advertising manager is on the 190 skill list so the states that have this occupation on the list is south australia and act um it's obviously eligible for all the employer sponsored visas as well but if you meet the eligibility criteria now south australia uh has uh has the criteria ing based on the occupations so mostly south australia wants you to work in the nominated occupation for at least one year uh before you become eligible for south australian state nomination and the act require you to have requires you to have high enough points on the matrix for you to become eligible the basic act criteria is for 491 that you should be working and living in a city for three months now once you've got the skills assessment for this particular occupation you do not necessarily have to be working in a city in your nominated operation but you have to gather enough points uh as per the uh threshold to to get invited by act so yeah you've got two states here basically yes act and south australia for this particular occupation after you've got the skills assessment or while you're preparing for your skills assessment as well okay um that's all the time we have got for today um thank you everyone for joining our session if your questions are not
