talking about your sales process and more specifically flow charting your sales process one of the greatest ways to actually look and get more traction and more improvement in conversion rate at different stages and different parts of the sales process is to actually flowchart out what that looks like right from the very start all the way through to when someone finally decides that they might be sitting in your book database so they might be a yes they might be a no but it goes all the way through including feedback and follow-up and everything to do with that process so what does it look like grab a pen grab a paper grab your team and actually start mapping out what that process looks like and there's three main things that you're wanting to do at every step on that sales process first thing is what actually happens during that step so what are the key things that are going on during that part of the process so if there's a meeting what does the meeting look like if it's sending out an email what does the email look like you know if it's actually asking for the sale what does that look like second part is to actually script out the different parts of that so if there's specific words if there's specific tonality if there's specific actions that need to be done to script out what that actually looks like and then the last part of each of those steps is what's the decision that someone has to make when they move on to the next one so what's the action that you need them to take so typically in a sales process every step has some type of decision that they need to go and do or some type of action that they need to go and do so either this way or that way and actually go what is that decision they need to make by getting down that granular in your sales process it allows you to start looking at how to improve the conversion rate from each one of these steps and actually gradually grow the conversion rate of the whole sales process so one of the strongest things that you can do in terms of getting better conversion rate is to flowchart your sales process get the team involved and look for areas of opportunities that you can increase and improve step of that process okay flow chart your sales process go execute [Music]
