you're a lawyer and you want better results online check out the rest of this video and i'm going to show you the complete funnel so maybe you can use it for your business someday now what is a landing page a landing page is a page that's separate than your website it could be built into your website or built on another platform and what that landing page is it's very specific for the action and the marketing you want to take for your business as an example this landing page looks pretty similar to a website but they can't leave unless they fill out the form they can either exit out of the page or they can fill out the form for more information now what we can do with these landing pages is get multiple different types of leads or visitors or customers to them so let's say you want to educate your visitors we can have them sign up for a webinar let's say you want to provide them a fact sheet they can download a fact sheet or if you want them to just sign up for a consultation with you we can get their initial information to send them more info and then we can schedule a call on the next page we can have a calendar page now why do we want to do this not just let them fill out a normal contact page or call or email us because we want to be super specific on our messaging here what your offer is and the messaging is one of the most important things now usually when you go to a website it's just filled and dumped with a bunch of your information but a landing page is specific for what that person was searching for on google so as an example if somebody's looking for a lawyer in wilmington north carolina very first thing we want to say is wilmington north carolina law firm in wilmington north carolina if somebody's searching for an estate attorney the very first thing we need to have on this landing page is a state planning attorney and what that does is it really narrows in and is very specific for that search that your customer is looking for now they know that that's what you're specializing they're on in the right place if i was looking for estate planning and i just went to a website that had hundreds you know hundreds of informations of information different uh services that you offer i'm not really sure where to go i'm not really sure what action to take but here i'm super specific if i'm looking for estate planning i land on a page that offers estate planning and i would download the estate planning checklist now usually we only we set up one landing page and then we duplicate it for all the different services you offer so let's say you may have six services so we'll want to set up six landing pages with the six services here at the top all right i'm gonna dive in a little bit deeper here and this is called a sales funnel or a marketing funnel this is the action that you want your visitors to take when they come to the landing page now remember what i said the average website gets a one percent conversion rate with a landing page we can get a seven to fifteen percent conversion rate over here and get them on your email list so we can follow up now a page like this may seem overwhelming to you and don't worry you don't have to understand this all of this comes after the fact of the landing page but i think it's one of the most important things how can you follow up with your visitors to build a better relationship we all know that if we met face to face and we shook hands we're more likely to do business together now if you just send a bunch of traffic let's say 20 000 people to your website they check out your website leave never hear from you again that's not building a better relationship so we what we want to do is use the email form to give them something in exchange for their email address so we can follow up with them now you're getting a seven to fifteen percent sign up right here on the landing page we're able to follow up with them build those better relationships you're gonna get a couple that go right to your order page or schedule page and schedule with you but the majority we're going to follow up with until they're ready and that's when we're really able to grow and scale a company online is by following up with people building those better relationships and that's where these processes and automation really can help your law firm or your business get better results online you're going to get more leads you're going to get more qualified leads we're going to follow up with people we're going to build better relationships and when they do need a lawyer or someone to work a business to work with they're going to reach out to you because you've been the one in the background building those better relationships making sure that they remember you when they're ready now a couple things on the landing page were pretty strategic on where we place things so we have the form right here above the field this is really important we want to give them that offer okay i'm going to give you something in exchange for your contact details you're going to get a small percentage that are ready to just fill this out and get started with you right away you're going to get the majority that are going to scroll through the page and see all the rest of the information and then there's going to be a form at the very bottom so what we do is we provide a form at the top and the bottom so they don't have to scroll all the way back to the top to fill this out again another thing we want to be strategic on is some bullet points people like seeing bullet points and checking those out instead of reading this description so these bullet points are actually more important than the the description here they're going to see the title they're going to see the bullet points and they're going to look at the form what are you going to give me for my email address there's a lot more that goes into this top banner for all the different services you offer and that's where if you ever decide to work with us we come up with those ideas from what you already have and we implement them to get you the best results another thing we want to do is show some awards or trust logos what are some businesses you've worked with some awards you've received that you can build trust and that's really what these people are looking for if you have somebody coming from google to your landing page then they've never heard of you before we have to build trust so we're in order to build trust we can put logos we can put reviews but i would say these are even more important than having a bunch of reviews because anyone could just make up reviews so that's why we put these right at the top instead of reviews now right here is how we're going to help you why would you choose us and the same tactic goes here they're only going to read these titles most likely majority of people won't read the descriptions we'll put the descriptions there for the small amount that we'll read into it but we want to show them that we are the top in the area that we offer professional services that we offer guarantee high quality support that we're local whatever the case may be here we want to give them some quick bullet points on why they should choose us you know quick communication local business uh in-person consultations whatever that may be we want to give them three to six bullet points here to really build that relationship here is we're going to tell them exactly who they're going to be working with you can put your profile picture here a picture of your team this is another way to build trust and remember most people come to your website have never heard of you before so each one of these sections is building trust building relationships telling them what they should expect if they decide to reach out to you then of course we're going to break some sections up here add a couple reviews and i always like to be very specific on these reviews as an example if we're talking about estate planning this review here should say law firm help me with my estate planning if we're talking about different services that you offer we need to have those services here in the review so what we'll do is we'll research all your reviews find the keywords and have the different reviews on each page and that is just another layer to build more trust and then a video video super important with bullet points again so what we want to do is give them a little bit more information about what to expect or what would happen if they decided to work with you this is super important to add bullet points again for some reason company name is going to offer you this this this this let's get started now let's have a video to build even more trust if you don't have any videos that's fine we can put an image here but we highly suggest some sort of video here especially with your face the lawyer's face or the teams somebody at the law firm's face here to build trust build that better relationship i have videos all over my website and that's why people hire us because they see my face i'm building a relationship i'm telling them what to expect if they work with us and they're more likely to sign up so video is very very important here last but not least before we get to the last section is faqs why should they reach out to you what are they going to expect if they do reach out people are leery online they're not really sure what to expect if they reach out to a law firm a lawyer really any business that they've never heard of break it down for them tell them exactly what's going to happen if they decide to work with you we will have a face-to-face consultation or if you're offering a webinar this is how long the webinar is going to be this is what you're going to learn from the webinar this is what you're going to learn from the fact sheet we're going to send you we want to just give them expectations so when they get down to this part they're more likely to fill out this form last but not least we add one more uh review here one last final review just for a little bit extra trust and then we title whatever we're offering whether it's the webinar the fact sheet the download free consultation scheduled call this is what you're going to get once you fill out the form now after they fill out this form we're going to give them a thank you page on that thank you page we give them exactly what we promised but we also tell them to go somewhere else so after they fill out this form there's going to be a thank you page right here where we're going to give them what we promised and then we're going to ask them to either schedule a call watch the webinar follow us on social media fill out a longer application form whatever the case may be and then we're going to email them whatever we promised so now they will go open an email from you which will improve your email open rates and then we're going to give them what we promised them in that email now we're going to follow up so what we did was we had a specific landing page we showed up for the exact service they were looking for we're going to give them something they get it now we're going to email them and most likely they're going to open it because they know that that's where that content is from there we're going to follow up with them with more information more content more relationship builders we can send them blogs we can send them videos we can have them follow us on linkedin or facebook or youtube that's what i do for our business is i provide a landing page and then i have them follow me on youtube where i give even more free advice and then when they're ready to work with you they're going to either respond back to one of these emails or we're going to set up these content pages to always lead back to the offer and the order form page so whether it's schedule a call with you or your team or buy something online we're always going to give them that option every time we send them an email and that's really important we're building relationships but also making it easy for them to reach out and work with you now if you ever decide to work with us
