last year using my woocommerce store we did three and a half million dollars in sales and in this tutorial today i'm going to show you two of my favorite plugins that without them those sales numbers wouldn't have been possible and both of these plugins that we're going to discuss in this video here i'm going to leave links to them down below so you can go to their website let's get into the first plugin which is woo funnels this plugin is one that i'm going to cover very thoroughly and that's for good reason because with wu funnels it will be and should be the plugin that will make your ecommerce store the most profit so if you spend any time on youtube watching e-commerce youtubers you probably come across them talk about the fact that you shouldn't be running any of your facebook ads to your shopify or commerce hq store you might have heard some of them say that you should be using a plugin called click funnels and then they show you screenshots of their click funnels dashboard and the numbers that they're doing with their sales funnels are pretty convincing so maybe you go out you watch some of these videos you signed up to click funnels yourself but maybe you also experience what i experienced where i actually went ahead and signed up to click funnels the first time i had ads going to my normal ecommerce store and then i actually ran ads to my sales funnels inside click funnels and at the end of the day my normal ecommerce store actually outperformed my sales funnels so what i did when this happened to me is i actually abandoned click funnels in the whole idea of sales funnels and i just didn't focus on it fast forward to now last year in 2021 we spent over 1.5 million dollars on facebook ads and i'd estimate nearly all of that went directly to our sales funnels and not to our woocommerce storefront we also sent out over 11 and a half million emails last year and i would say out of guess over 90 of those emails went directly to sales funnels so while i was skeptic first about how much better sales funnels could be for my business they really have become the sole focus of my ecommerce store i would suggest that a good place to really put your energy in 2022 is to get sales funnels working for your store so now that i've hopefully explained the importance of sales funnels i want to first point out that i didn't necessarily focus on click funnels because i was using click funnels but that actually changed last year so what i actually ended up doing is i rebuilt all of my sales funnels with a woocommerce plugin called wu funnels it's an epic plugin and after using it extensively i can without a doubt say that wu funnels is a lot better than clickfunnels and and i stand by that seriously it blows it out of the water so i say that as somebody that earned the two comma club award from click funnels and you get that for generating over a million dollars in sales with a single funnel so you're probably wondering what is woo funnels exactly and how does it work so firstly wu funnels is a very powerful plugin that does many things and i'll be creating a series of videos on my channel over the coming weeks that will show you guys how to use it to get more sales with your store but for this video we're actually going to be looking at two areas in the wordpress admin menu so we're going to be looking at these two here funnels and one-click upsells so firstly let's dive into the funnels area so in the funnels area this is where you're going to be able to create your sales funnels like you would be used to doing in the traditional sense so this is where you would create an opt-in page or a sales page and you would sell your product on those pages when they click through they would land on the order form where they would pay to buy your product and then after they complete your order form you would show them a series of upsells and downsells so that's your traditional funnel and anything that you can create in click funnels or a similar sas you can actually go ahead and create here in wu funnels but you have these added benefits so the first one is that you get to use your page builder of choice so you get to design your funnels using your favorite wordpress page builder like elementor beaver builder and you probably know your page builder really well so if you think about how fast you can build pages using your page builder now you can do it for your funnels so you also have the added advantage of being able to use your saved rows and modules that you've saved over time while you built the other pages on your website so you get to leverage them to build better looking funnels another big benefit by building your sales funnels inside of woocommerce is that it matches the branding the fonts and the colors of your woocommerce store and we know that because it's going to inherit all the styling from your theme so my clickfunnels sales funnels look completely different to the styling that i used on my woocommerce store but now because i'm building it inside my woocommerce store and it's taking on the look of my theme all my sales funnels perfectly match my normal woocommerce store and it just gives the user a better experience they know that when they're browsing your sales funnels they relate it to being on your actual website for your ecommerce brand now the next thing that i want to point out is that when i was building sales funnels inside of click funnels i needed to go and create a new product for each step in my sales funnels so that meant i had products in woocommerce so my normal ecommerce store but then i had duplicates of those products in click funnels and it was just becoming really repetitive unnecessary setting up all these different products so now that i work in wu funnels inside my woocommerce i have access to all the products that are in my normal woocommerce product catalog and i don't have to go and duplicate and create multiples of the product in a different service like click funnel it's a super clean system there's no extra setup for products and it's a massive time saver and another big one for companies that might be managing stock levels is obviously you have access to your inventory database so that when you sell products through your sales funnels it's using your real live stock figures now the next benefit of building inside wordpress versus click funnels or another sas is that all your orders are in one place so that was probably my biggest issue that wu funnel sold for me all our traffic was going to click funnels and that meant that all our orders were being placed inside click funnels but i needed all that data in woocommerce so there are several reasons for this like showing all my customers their orders when they log into woocommerce because you have to put yourself in your customers shoes if you show them an ad and they buy from your woocommerce store and then you send them an email and they land on your sales funnel and then they buy a product from there they don't know that's two different systems they should be able to log into their account in your woocommerce store and see all the products that they've placed inside woocommerce and click funnels so another reason that i like having all the orders in the one system inside woocommerce is that it makes fulfillment for my team a whole lot easier so with click funnels we were actually using web hooks to create woocommerce orders for each click funnels order that was placed but we experienced a lot of weird issues like missing data and web hooks randomly and stuff i won't get into here because it doesn't really matter but the long story short is with wu funnels we have a much better more reliable system that makes fulfillment and customer service a million times easier and lastly it's wordpress so you have access to the code you can build anything that you want if there's something that you're doing repetitively to set up your funnels you can go ahead and write some code or hire a developer to write that code to make it an automated process which is exactly what i've done so that's the first area funnels in the menu so i said we'd actually speak about two things here and the second is going to be what's here under one click upsells if you don't have any sales funnels currently set up and you're looking into how they work this one click upsell area is going to be something that you can activate right now and start making more profit with very little work so the way that one click upsells works here is that you have what are called rules offers and design rules is where you set up the conditions under which your offers which are your upsells and downsells will be triggered and shown to your customer the offers area is where you actually go and create your upsells and downsells so this is where you're selecting what product you'll sell at each step in your funnel will there be a discount when somebody says yes to getting that offer and so on lastly design this is where you design the look of the actual upsell and downsell pages so you're probably wondering what's the difference between the funnels area and the one-time offers area hello this is grant coming to you from the editing room and i just had a scripted sort of section that followed where i explained the differences but it's just not going to be as good as if i were to jump in and share my screen and just set up a sales funnel and a one-click upsell so i reckon that's what we're gonna do let's go to my computer and i'll show you how to set them up and by doing so you'll be able to see a how they are different and then b how much value they could add to your woocommerce store so let's go to my computer screen and do that so if we have a look on the left we can see that this is a landing page and this is a template but you'll get the id where we have a sales page and then people click then they'll go to the order form they'd scroll down put in their details click place order now and when they do that then they would go to our upsells that we have set so if we actually open this up our upsell step here is actually a group of offers so upsells and down cells so this hoodie step if we edit it this is an upsell and then this sunglasses step if we click and then we edit it it is a downsell so if we go back in this example let's just say we're selling a t-shirt here our facebook ads are all about how good this t-shirt is so they see our ad click they go to our landing page read they want to buy that t-shirt they click they go to the checkout page they put in their details they purchase that t-shirt then they go to our upsell step here again this is a group of upsells so if we click into here once they buy the t-shirt they get the upsell for the hoodie at 15 off regular price plus five dollar shipping if they say yes to buying it they would skip the downsell and go to the thank you page if they don't want to buy the hoodie then they say no then they see the down sole for the sunglasses which is 30 off our normal price plus free shipping and then they go to the thank you page so the main thing that i want to point out here is again what we were just covering where this is for a specific offer that we're trying to sell we're trying to sell this t-shirt so this whole thing is about selling that one t-shirt now on the flip side one click upsells is different so it's based on what people buy in your woocommerce checkout then it triggers these upsells so for example i've just gone ahead and i've set one up here and we have one group and it's the exact same upsells and down cells the same office so we have the hoodie and that's an upsell and that's 15 off regular price and then if they say no they say the downsell for the sunglasses and that's 30 off the retail price now this is where it's different so if we go to the rules area this is where we're checking the items that the person has bought using our normal woocommerce website so if somebody lands on our website here and they're browsing our store and they go yeah i want to buy that beanie out to my cart and they go down they might go to page two they scroll down they see this t-shirt and they go yeah i want to get that t-shirt so then they go to their cart page and then they proceed to the checkout page as they have this t-shirt product in their cart when they go down and they click place order what happens is in the behind the scenes woo funnels is checking all the one-click upsells that we have set and if a rule is met for one of them it triggers showing the offers area over here so if we go back to rules for this one i have it so if somebody completes a woocommerce checkout on our normal storefront and they have at least one t-shirt that they've purchased that is true then and then that would trigger these offers to show and the first one would be the upsell for the hoodie then down sole for sunglasses and so on so this is why i said coming back to you know a couple of minutes ago five minutes ago this is the easiest way for you to go and not spend too much time setting something up and making extra profit because this is very powerful right where you're setting up a sales funnel but you have to go and design the sales page and you have to put a lot more thought into it whereas the one-click upsells so all you have to do is just go in here click some buttons set all these up for all the products in your catalog which is what i've done and then it just works behind the scenes people just browse your store like normal add products to cart go to checkout and when they purchase then it checks these rules and when a rule is met it does these upsells so it is the easiest way to add extra profit to your store so that's the two differences there now the last feature that i want to cover in relation to woo funnels today in this video is their global checkout feature now this allows you to click a few buttons and then completely customize your default woocommerce checkout page to look professional so the way that you do that is you go to add new and we'll just call this global checkout and we'll click add and then here it's going to be a checkout page now there's all these different templates here i'm just going to choose this one here and there's our checkout it's called minimalist now we go to settings and checkouts and now where it says override default checkout for woocommerce we would select minimalist and then save so i'll show you a before and after so let's actually leave it on the default so this is our default checkout page and this is the astra theme straight out of the box now let's go back here and we're going to set it to the minimalist template and click save go back here refresh and just like that it looks so much better look at this it's completely changed its look and feel and because i have elementor activated here this is built using elementor i have complete control i can customize this any way that i want and in terms of trust people getting to your checkout page that's where you really need to make sure that people trust your website to have this design versus the default astra out of the box look this one is going to convert a lot more grant in the editing room again so i've been editing this video that you're currently watching for three days now because i've never used final cut to this level before and i wanted to make better videos so if you are enjoying this style of editing and you're getting value from this video please like this video so that i know that i should keep doing these types of videos versus just doing the more boring screen shares i'd really appreciate it so the second plugin that we're going to cover in this video is one that i've actually recently moved my business over to and now we're using it heavily so the plugin is called autonami so to show you some of my favorite features i'm logged in here inside autonami and we're going to go to contacts and then as you can see this is sort of like your active campaign this is your crm so it houses all your contact information about everyone that goes into your woocommerce website so here's my test user if we just click into this we can see some of the information that is saved for each user so here it has their name their email address so things you would expect to have in a crm go down we have lists so you can tag people and then add them to mailing lists and then you would use broadcast over here to send lists specific emails so maybe at the end of each week you just want to keep in touch with your list and let them know what you did during that week so you would go into broadcast and then you would select everyone that's in your list weekly newsletter and then you design your email and then send it to them but you can see here we also have access to all the woocommerce information here so what they've ordered and you can find more of that under purchases here so this is my test user you can see during my testing process i've bought these items they were in this category you can see what coupon codes i've used you can see how much i've spent as a test user my aov you can see all the orders here you can click to open this order and coming back to what i said previously this is why it's so good that wu funnels build autonomy because the integration is so tight so you can see okay they purchased from the checkout page they didn't take the order bump they didn't buy any of the upsells and overall we made this much here so that is the crm component again we're going really fast over this stuff just to give you an idea of what the power is behind here now if we go to carts so this will list all your abandoned carts so if you are a brand new woocommerce website and you don't want to pay for clavio and you just want to get something up and going maybe you're doing drop shipping websites and you just want a really fast system to get up and live to test niche websites this is a really good solution so if we go to automations when you autonomy and have woocommerce active it creates these two automations out of the box and this one's cart abandonment you'll notice that this is similar to the crm and email automation software that you're used to you're just building these flows on this sort of flowchart diagram if then sort of scenarios actions triggers conditions and so on so here start this automation when somebody abandons their cart so when they abandon their cart we're gonna wait 60 minutes and then we're going to send them this email can we help hi it'll have the cart billing first name this is just a merge tag you have access to heaps of merge tags over here that you can use in your emails hi first name we notice you were trying to purchase cart items outputs this merge tag so we can generate a preview and this is what the email is going to look like that the person will get but you actually have access to a drag and drop builder here which we're going to touch on in a couple of minutes but coming back here can't abandon send an email after 60 minutes and then 24 hours later we'll send them a coupon code so this creates the coupon code as an action so this is creating it and then we're going to send the email here and you'll output the coupon name here and then we'll wait 48 hours and then we'll let them know their coupons expiring so that is a trigger to start the automation these are the actions sending emails creating coupons if we go down and have a look at the available actions you can see you can send an email you can create a contact in autonomy you can update their contact fields add tags add contact notes remove tags so all the things that you would expect out of activecampaign and mailchimp all that stuff but it's inside wordpress that's what i love about this so wordpress you can create a new wordpress user you can update their user role update custom user meta woocommerce create a coupon code delete it wu funnels you also have access to web hooks so if you want to do a web hook this is how i'm sending my information into clavio so there are the actions here now coming up what if when somebody abandons their cart we want to specifically do a condition so if we go here we're going to add a condition and we'll say only if they're cart total is greater than a hundred dollars so if they abandon cart and their total is over a hundred dollars yes we might actually send them a different email or a send them a different coupon code so if we go over to here and we go copy and then we paste it over here and then we could create a coupon code so copy and then paste over here so if they abandon their cart and their total is greater than a hundred dollars maybe we know that they're a big spender then we'll send them an email we'll send them the same email here but then after 24 hours we might actually create a coupon code that gives them a bigger discount so instead of creating coupon code that gives them 10 off we might give them 20 off just things like that are possible again it's all in wordpress here so to give you a real-life example of what i've done using autonomy in my main woocommerce website i've gone ahead and under automations i'll add a new automation and i'll call this order processing and i'll click add and then the trigger for this will be when the order status changes and we're going to make it from any status to processing so they've just paid so if a customer pays on our website i'm going to let's do a condition and we'll say is their first order so if it's not their first order we're gonna send them an email so we'll go action we're gonna add an action we're gonna send an email and then here we'll write order receipts and then the merge tag will be the order number so the order id so we'll put that there and then we'll say hi and then we're going to add the merge tag and it's going to be for the order items and then here we're going to do the woocommerce order summary layout then we're going to paste it there and then if we go down we can generate a preview and now you can see that this is actually completely replaced the default email that woocommerce sends out on an order receipt now that we've done that we can go over to woocommerce settings we can go to emails and where it says processing order we can click into that and we'll just turn that off and now we've replaced that email with the one in autonami so when somebody places an order if it's their first order no so it's a second order we'll just send them this but let's actually go ahead and we're going to copy this and paste this over here we're going to send a different email to people when it's their first time ordering from our website and making your first order today something like that a little bit more personalized really bad example but you guys get the point you can do these conditions here the next feature that i want to show you that ordinary has and the reason that i disabled all my woocommerce emails that woocommerce activates out the box and move them all over to ordinary here is that i can design my emails using the drag and drop builder so if i click over here drag and drop and i click launch editor so let's go ahead and we'll drag the logo in there so i'll just upload that now the logo is white so let's resize that we're going to bring it down a little bit like that now we're going to add another column so let's go over here and add content we'll put some text there hi we have access to the merge tags so first name paste like that now let's click back to this row and we're going to give it a background color so we go down to here and we're going to make this black so that pops let's actually make this text black as well so black and then over here let's actually make this text white and let's give it some padding so padding on all sides more options i just want the top and bottom like that so there's that and now we're going to add the order data below it so we'll do a new column we're going to add some content text and then here we're going to do merge tags and it's going to be order items like this select so there's all these different ones here but this is the one that we want for the scenario woocommerce order summary layout and click copy to clipboard and then we're going to go down and then we'll paste that there okay now we're going to add one more row here and then here we can add a menu if we want really simple but you guys get the idea now what we can actually do is let's go save and then exit and if we go down we can go generate preview and now when somebody buys from our website they receive an email that looks like this that we've built using a drag and drop builder so you don't have to go out and buy a separate woocommerce plugin to customize your woocommerce emails this does it all for you so you can build it using drag and drop and merge tags but then it's also inside a system where you're setting things up based on conditions and triggers and it's just a it's a complete solution so again i've gone ahead and i've disabled all the default woocommerce emails and replaced them with their own automation now i've shown you all the actions that you can add in terms of the conditions if we go back here i went pretty fast so you can do things based on all these conditions so contact filled custom filled what checkout they purchased from their user role how much is it worth how much have they spent over the whole duration of your website so to show you all the triggers if we go back to automations and then we'll click add new and we're just going to name this test just to show you and then go select an event an event that will start the automation you have access to all of these so when a tag is added when a tag is removed they're added to a list removed from a list say subscribe unsubscribe or if you send webhook data here you can use that webhook data to do things like add them as a contact inside autonami woocommerce if they abandon a cart recover it if they if an all is created if it's refunded need a review if they log in if they view an offer um but they don't accept it maybe you could send them an email there and try and get them to purchase the upsell and sell it a bit more through a more lengthy automation series something like that so that's a really brief overview about autonomy and what it can do but i again highly recommend going to their website and checking their documentation and knowledge base because that's how you're going to best understand this plugin and all the features that it has it's it's incredible these two plugins here built by the same team is just a game changer they integrate so seamlessly so that wraps up two of my favorite woocommerce plugins coming into 2022. i'm going to be going through heaps of other plugins here on my channel so if you want to see those videos don't forget to subscribe and to check out these two plugins again i'll leave links in the description below if you have any woocommerce plugins that you reckon i should be checking out this year leave them in the comments below as well i'm definitely keen to go and check out more plugins and i'll end this video now see you guys in the next one
