hello welcome to today's videos my name is Dave with zoom Nets and in this video we'll be talking about sales funnels what they are and how to use them with your affiliate marketing campaigns so that you can maximize your profits this is one of the most important Concepts in marketing as well as especially in affiliate marketing because when you understand sales funnels you really start to understand how to get your conversion rates up um and then really improve on those so without further Ado let's get into it and let's talk about it okay so what is a sales funnel a sales funnel is the process in which you take a potential customer through in order to warn them up and make a purchase in other words it's a customer buying Journey instead of just putting your links out there it's a more methodical way of selling a product and controlling the sales process for example let's say that you are looking to purchase a car and you go to a car dealership and if the salesperson came up to you with a contract to purchase the car as a sign right here you will be confused right but if the salesperson greets you they'll Report with you take you on a test drive and explain all the features and benefits of the car then you're more likely to make that purchase it's a similar concept here and we do this through four steps and that's attention interest decision and action okay attention so in this step your job as a marketer is to get someone's attention whether that's through free traffic or paid ads it is to stop whatever they're doing and then get their attention so there's two ways to get someone's attention through your promotion and that's through ads through headlines so for example like this Google ad headline right here it said back pain relief is now easy relief back pain in 15 minutes a day another way is ADD copies you can have either an image or a video that stops them from doing whatever they're doing that gets them to click through the ad and to The Next Step which is going to be your landing page and thus brings us to the Second Step In The Funnel which is building interest once the customer clicks on the ad copy they're taken to a landing page also known as a pre-sale page and that will warm up their interest to the product that you're selling and this page is where you will build trust address the problems and offer them a solution to that problem and if you have your funnel set up correctly you should have something similar to this you have the ad copy the pre-sale page your hop link on your pre-sale page that take you finally to the offer page and that brings us to the decision this is where the customer is already aware of the problem and the solutions but they're deciding whether to purchase or not they may also make comparison with different products out there so in this step it is your job as a marketer to create follow-ups and this can be done by either through emails or retargeting ads this is why emails and ads are so effective because if you don't follow up you may be the one who have informed them of the solution but they might end up purchasing with someone else or go with a different solution so by keeping your prospects engaged once they're ready to make that purchase they go with you instead of someone else of course there are others who will purchase on the first time they see your ad or go through your funnel but that's kind of rare in the beginning if you don't have enough pixel data and we'll get more into that later but the important thing is that by warming up your prospects and re-engaging them with new information you increases your conversion rates much more than if you were to just sending them random traffic and also another benefit of using sales funnels is that it acts as a filter to find the right people who are most likely to purchase and if you're running ads this is really important as it gives you insight into who your audiences are as you collect more data so your ability to utilize a sales funnel is key in generating higher conversion rate and you're making more money one of the biggest confusion that many beginners face when starting out is not understanding the difference between a website and a funnel so what is the difference first thing you don't understand is that all funnels are essentially websites or parts of websites but not all websites are funnels take this REI website for example you can see that they uses navigations here too for you to browse through all their products that are available on their website now the problem with this method is that it creates too many distraction for a lot of the consumers because they will browse and browse and look through all of this and then they never actually make the purchase and you don't really know which one they're actually interested in unless you are setting up all kinds of analytical tools that keeps tracks of where they visited and then retarget through that way now with REI because they are a big brand name most people trust their products so you you're going to have a higher conversion than say if you were to start out with a regular website and stuff but when you have a funnel that's focused on just one product that actually funnels them through the whole sales process is a lot more effective so let's take a look at a funnel starting with the top of the funnel you have the ad right here and then we're going to click on the ad and then take us to the Second Step In The Funnel which is the pre-sale page so this is where you will warm up the customer talks about all the features and benefits of the product and then finally it will funnel them to the actual offer page so this is the actual offer page as you can see there's not a lot of other buttons out there for you to click that eliminates all the distractions it only focuses on one product and highlights all the features and benefits and then offers you different options for the purchase so this is a great way to sell the product and it's going to yield a higher conversion rate than a traditional website because the prospect is just sewn in and focused on just one product and one sales copy versus having all these other options and other products for them to browse through so you're gonna have a higher conversion rate and more sales with this type of method there are many different softwares and tools available out there to create websites and funnels with websites you have tools like WordPress and Wix these are a little bit more complete uh website building software you also have shopifyers and you can also do build your own website with HTML you can also do the same thing with funnels with but there are also specialized softwares that are a lot more simpler to use and easier to use like
