I'm going to explain that in just a moment we're going to talk about the strategy of affiliate marketing I'm going to show you just how simple it really is we're going to talk about traffic because that's the lifeblood of your affiliate marketing business I'm going to give you my top three recommended traffic sources we're going to talk about opt-in pages and sales funnels but don't worry if you don't know what they are it's very very simple I'm going to show you a free tool you can use to build out your opt-in pages and sales funnels then we're going to talk about the products where do you find the right products are actually going to make you any money I'm going to show you in just a moment then we're going to put all of the pieces together so you can walk away from this video and moment ago I'm going to show you my three top recommended traffic sources I'm going to explain why then we need to build an opt-in page the reason for this is because we need to capture people's information you can build this traffic and you can send people directly to the affiliate products you're leaving a huge amount of money on the table and you're never going to build a sustainable business that way you need to build an email list the reason for this is a traffic source that you actually own and when you build that email list it means you can send people back to those products again and again it takes people on average seven times to view a product before they make a purchase decision you need to keep sending them back and if you don't have their email address you can't do that and the bonus of this is you can then promote further products later on down the line massively increasing your average customer value that is going to mean a sustainable and profitable affiliate marketing business and next step is finding the right products we have two options we've got low ticket products and high ticket products we'll talk about that in a moment I'm going to explain the difference but first off the traffic sources this is the lifeblood of your business where are you going to get traffic from there's so many different places you can do it you can use YouTube you can use blogging which is using Google SEO you can use article marketing you can use your social media accounts you can use paid traffic but if you're a beginner I do not recommend paid traffic because the learning curve is very Steep and you can bury a lot of money if you've got a lot of cash in your pocket and you're ready to lose it very quickly then by all means go and try it out but my three top recommended traffic sources I'm going to show you right now so you can go check this out for yourself over on similar web we can look at the top website rankings across the world and the top website is Google it's not surprising but it is Google that means that if you want to drive traffic through Google you're going to build a blog or use article marketing you'll use written content and what you'll see across all three of my top recommended traffic sources is the key element to this is building content it's creating content that is what is going to build you a profitable affiliate marketing business so you're going to use Google that's one of my top recommended traffic sources the next one is YouTube and again you're going to be creating content in a video form for YouTube now there's some advantages to YouTube I'll talk about those in a second then you've got Facebook again it's the third biggest website in the world and again you're going to be posting content on that platform we're going to talk about that as well but the advantages of these two if you're starting a blog or article marketing there's some expenses behind that and there's a big learning curve behind doing that you need to be able to write captivating content you've got to be able to post that and you need to understand SEO there's a lot involved with YouTube and Facebook there's none of that involved YouTube yes there is a learning curve to creating videos but the benefit of this is completely free not only is it free but once you get to a certain level YouTube will actually pay you to produce videos how do they do that they pay you by putting ads on your videos and when people click on those Acts or watch those ads you get paid so you're actually getting paid to produce content with Facebook there's no learning curve at all if you're a complete beginner you've got no experience you can start right now you've always certainly got a Facebook profile all you need to do is start posting content I'm going to show you a couple of examples in a little while so I have three top recommendations it's going to be blogging using Google it's using YouTube and Facebook now I'm assuming you're a beginner because you're watching this video if you are then I would start with either Facebook or YouTube that's the easiest option for you and if you want to learn to do that again inside that free training that I mentioned you can learn how to do that so make sure you hit link and go and check it out but as an example I use YouTube as you're watching this video right here so I produce video content you can see that I post content on my YouTube channel it's free for me to do that and again like I said I get paid paid via Google AdSense if people watch or click on the ads on my videos so not only is it free for me to produce that and to drive traffic from my business but I get paid by YouTube as well it's a fantastic model and don't worry if you're worried about getting on camera and producing videos then all I can say to you is you just need to get started we all start somewhere and if you look back at some of my older videos they are terrible but you get better and better with time and you're always improving with Facebook again same thing applies you're going to be producing content so you're going to set up your Facebook profile you're going to produce content for your Facebook profile that can be written content can be videos again um a whole host of different methods to this I'm not going to talk about how you do that in today's video but you're going to use Facebook to produce content the idea of this again is to drive traffic for your business once we've got the traffic Source down the next thing we need to do is build an opt-in page this is to capture our leads information as we discussed earlier so how we're going to do that is very very simple guys you're going to use a free tool called system.io you can go and sign up for free I'll leave a link in the description below once you come inside here you're going to come over to funnels I've got loads of tutorials about system.io on this channel and you're going to go and create a new funnel once you've created it we're going to go give it a name we call it test and we're going to build an audience we're going to save that we want to keep these simple remember it's not complicated guys it's very very simple once we have that we click on it and it's going to bring up a load of templates that's the great thing about platform size it's going to do all of the work for you all you need to do is find the right template again it doesn't need to be complicated we want to keep it simple as possible we're going to select a nice simple template with an opt-in form we'll select that one as an example then once we've got that we can change the name we can change the url path we can go and edit that page and inside here all you're going to do is change the headline to a relevant headline for whatever product it is you're promoting then we connect everything up again I've got videos right here on this channel about how to set all of this up and build this all from scratch I talk about this in some of my other videos so just go and look them up on the school of Affiliates YouTube channel the idea is to capture people's information it's that simple once we've got that information we can set up emails later on so we can come back inside here you can see we can set up automations we can set up workflows inside those workflows we can set up emails and follow-up emails that go out automatically so you can start to automate your business it's really really simple guys the next step is finding the right products there's many many places you can do that so you can go to affiliate networks like digistore24 like ClickBank like jvzoo Warrior plus if you don't know what they are all you need to do is go and do a quick Google search come inside the marketplace many of these are free to sign up very very easy you can come in here you can look down the left-hand side you can go and find your Niche whatever Niche is in find the right products you can find products with 85 commission the average earnings is 23.30 but you'll see some of them 211 dollars that you can get 50 commission that's the average earnings for this product that's a lot of money and you can go and select these products and then promote them it's as simple as that all we need to do is copy our promotional link put that inside our funnel that we've just built inside the system.io for free and we can start promote if you're using Facebook you can start putting your links inside here and driving people into messenger send them links on there if you're using YouTube You're Going to put those links in your video descriptions it's as simple as that now ClickBank is very similar you're going to sign in you can go and look at top offers you can search down the left-hand side for your Niche again and then you're going to go and find the right products for you ask to promote it get your affiliate link start promoting is that simple guys now there is one thing you need to bear in mind when you're starting an affiliate marketing business here in the UK and that is the fact that most of your revenue is going to come in dollars you can see that all of this stuff is in dollars you're going to get paid predominantly in dollars now there are some platforms and some programs that will pay you in pounds but majority of your income will come in dollars that inherently comes with issues because here in the UK we're Great British pounds we're not dollars so you are going to incur some exchange rates and non-sterling transaction fees so when you get paid so you get a thousand dollars commission you need to understand it not all of that thousand dollars is going to go into your bank account that's before you even pay tax on it guys because obviously it's a business you still need to pay tax on that as well but we're talking about the fees that you're going to get as a UK affiliate marketer dealing with predominantly us-based companies now if we look at PayPal for instance so if you set up your PayPal account and you get your commissions paid into your paper account which in most cases is the easiest option with these platforms almost all of them allow you to pay into PayPal you can see that the conversion rate for Trans actions is three percent above the base exchange rate so you're going to pay the exchange rate plus three percent now if you want to draw that money out into a bank account you're going to get a further fee and they're going to give you a conversion rate as well so they'll give you a US dollars to Great British pounds conversion rate which will be in their favor there's nothing you can do about that it's just the nature of the business but you need to understand when you're getting involved in affiliate marketing and motion money is coming in in US Dollars you are going to incur these fees so all not all of that commission you get is going to come into your pocket you're going to get a little bit of that is going to get taken away by PayPal by these other platforms buy your bank account all of that stuff they're going to take their percentage before you even get your commission and then obviously like I said you're gonna have to pay tax on that as well so when you're looking for products another great option for you if you don't want you to use these affiliate networks is to come into Facebook and YouTube I'll show you YouTube in a second come and search inside side groups go and find these groups with a lot of members 193 000 members go and join these groups go and get active in there and you will find people inside these groups that are promoting products and discover what they're promoting go and check them out and you can find some really good products that way start getting involved in the platforms you're actually using as a traffic Source Again on YouTube you can come over to YouTube and you can search for affiliate marketing you can go and find some of the top viewed videos on here and you can go and check out what they're promoting have they got their own products so almost certainly some of these big marketers will have their own products that they're promoting and you can go and join their affiliate programs and promote them as well you know it means that it's easier to verify the quality of those products as well now as a side note that when you're looking for the right products I always recommend that you go and buy the product and consume it so you can understand whether it's top quality because if you promote poor quality products to your audience you're going to burn that audience very quickly you're not going to make any money you're going to be running a filing business it just isn't going to work you need to understand that the products you're promoting need to be the best possible quality if they are then those people you're promoting to are going to come back to you time and time again so we talked about low ticket and high ticket products what's the difference well say you have a low ticket product that's 20 and you earn 50 commission you get 10 commission per sale so if you will go your financial goal is to reach a thousand dollars per month with affiliate marketing then you need to make 100 sales of this product to reach your financial goal that means you need a huge amount of traffic on the front end it means your opt-in page needs to come very highly the product that you are promoting needs to be converting very very highly most of the time a 30 conversion rate is very high for these types of products so that's a lot of traffic you need to get in every single month to reach your thousand dollars if you're promoting a high ticket product that could be two thousand plus dollars put on you earn 50 commission that's a thousand dollars that's one sale per month and you've reached your financial goal that means less traffic on the front end that means that when you begin and you don't understand how to build High converting opt-in Pages it doesn't matter because you only need one cell per month to reach your financial goals this is a power of high ticket affiliate marketing that's why I recommend as a beginner this is always the place to start now low ticket has its place absolutely and the best part about low ticket if you can find a low ticket product with a recurring Revenue structure so say it's a 20 product and you get 50 commission but they pay a monthly fee so they're paying 20 per month then you get ten dollars per month this will Compound on itself so the more people you get in that ten dollars turns into twenty dollars thirty dollars forty dollars a hundred dollars a thousand dollars per month compounding and that can build a real solid foundation for your business a really great way to start now
