so what is going on guys welcome to the channel if we've not yet met my name is Peter Roberts and in today's video I want to jump back on here guys and document another portion of my financial journey and document how I sold over 56 000 of life insurance final expense over the phone singing this chair in this office and in today's video I want to share with you how I did this without buying a single lead from a vendor the reason I want to make this video is not only does document the truth that I've been able to figure out in my business to build a profitable business but also share with you the truths of why most people do fail in life insurance and in this video it's my take at documenting my journey for myself selfishly but also I want to share with you every mistake that I made to hopefully help you make more money in this business I think it's 98 of people fail in this business and I don't want you to be one of them and also in this video I do not want to recruit you I don't want you on my team I just simply want to help you get to where you want to be so hopefully you can change your family's life so the one thing I'll share with you is how I was able to do this is that as you can see right here I close over fifty six thousand dollars worth of business all over the phone not going at home all virtually selling final expense life insurance what if you're selling final expense term you know whole life iuls whatever the product is I just learned that there's one thing that I needed to control and the way that I was able to get there not only which I'll be documenting my sales process the marketing acquisition channels that I use and more importantly the CRM systems that I built out on a small scale I want to share with you exactly what I've learned that has allowed me to become more profitable and make more money in this business that I think no one really told me when I got in to this business that I want you to hopefully go through the learning curve to get to where you want to be and hopefully change your bank account so the first thing that I was never told and the first thing that I wish I knew earlier is that a lead is not a lead the reason I was able to basically sell fifty six thousand dollars worth of business is that I become I was able to actually start taking control of my business no one told me that when you get into this business that you need to actually learn how to Market that you need to learn how to not only sell but you need to Market you learn how to find acquisition channels I thought I was told that if you just buy CRM leads or the leads that we give you that you're going to make money and if you're not making money then it's your sales ability now I don't want to lie to you and say that the reason that you're not selling even if you're generating own leads right now is because the marketing sucks maybe it's you that suck but the reason I want to share with this because I knew I was able to develop the skill of sales after getting results but I saw that my sales eventually dropped and I needed to take control of my business so one thing I want to share with you is how I got there is that I learned how to start developing my own lead system where I learned how to start getting my own high quality leads now how did I learn that skill number one I connected with people that were Smarter with me two I spent over ten thousand dollars for a course that didn't fail me three I paid over eighteen hundred dollars to a guy who actually took all my money and ran with me and gave me a terrible product and fourth I just watched YouTube videos and tried to educate myself as much as possible a lot of people ask me how do you want to get you want to be how do you make more money in this industry and it's simply maybe you don't have the skill that's gonna allow you to get there I look back at my myself in the mirror and I learned that I was able to develop the skill of sales but the one skill that I was unable to acquire is the skill of marketing now instead of taking my money that I'm earning from this business and go spending it on things like nice fancy cars you know if you're making 20 30 000 which I'm consistently doing I could have spent that money but I literally just took that money and reinvested it back to my own business to acquire a skill that will allowed me to grow my business so my lead vendor absolutely cut me off which I want to share with you here is that you need to start taking control of your business that finding a way to acquire a customer was super important me so the way that I was able to close this number one was I was able to learn how to generate my own exclusive leads I was tired of paying lead vendors the costs were going up and who had the leverage in their in your business is it you do you have control of your business or does a random guy overseas or a random guy or girl that are posting ads that that you're paying are they controlling your business and for me that was my biggest fear one of the biggest mistakes that I made I relied so heavily on the lead vendors I told people about the leads that were working people started to saturate those late vendors and guess what the lead vendors had all the control they raised their prices and the quality dropped and I was now scoring myself so the one thing I want to share with you is that not not only is a lead not actually a lead because a lot of people will tell you that All Leads are the same but if someone filled out a piece of information that is not requesting something that you service or you're misleading them then you're probably not going to get the results that you wanted secondly the thing that you need to focus on that allow me to become more profitable in my business is simply one or two things number one how much are you paying to get a customer and how much is that customer you know going to be profiting how much that customer paying you over a lifetime so my biggest thing that I focus on and that what you need to focus on to build a profitable or more sustainable business is not buying three 500 leads every day just to make sales is to have a high AP it's simply to spend how can you spend a little most you know least amount of money possible to acquire the most amount of clients that gap between how much you pay for a client and that lifetime value that Gap in between is a profit that's going to help build and fuel your business and allow you to actually change your bank account change your family's life and help serve other people so something that was not told me is that I was told to buy leads buy leads buy leads but if your profit is not there and if you're getting the same results buying the same leads over and over and over again from a vendor or CRM and you're not getting results two things you're either not very skilled at selling or secondly that those leads are not the best leads and you need to find a way to of album so I didn't want to build my you know my business off of something that was out of my control and secondly I find a way I wanted to find ways to become more profitable I'm spending around eight to nine hundred dollars eleven hundred dollars depending on the day that allows me on the day eight to nine hundred to eleven hundred dollars per week Monday through Sunday running Facebook generated leads and the third Channel that I want to share with you is how am I actually generating these leads how am I getting leads for four to seven dollars all for myself non-shared with beneficiary names with how much coverage with people actually requesting information real stuff where I'm actually getting five to seven presentations every day and the one thing that I share with you and I've learned and tried to study is a guy named Alex hormones I don't know if you know him but he said to make a million dollars you just simply want to find one acquisition channel so one way to acquire a customer you know one person that one Avatar who are you actually going after is it a trucker is it a grandma is it a grandpa is it a guy in their 20s and lastly um one channel what is that channel that you're marketing on and for me I personally in the past six to eight weeks I've been focusing directly on Facebook where I've learned how to actually Market I've learned how to sell and I've been able to Target the right people which has allow me to consistently close forty to fifty thousand dollars of business every month so that little process there has allowed me to get to where I wanted and most importantly is allow me to close you know fifty six thousand dollars worth of business and how did I get there I spent a ton of money testing I spent all the money that I could back into my business and most importantly I stopped buying the leads that left me with no leverage so if you're in a position where you don't know what you're doing and you need some help not only can you like reach out to me but there's a ton of free videos on on YouTube but I just want to share with you how I got there and most importantly I want to learn that your skills that you have will dictate how much money you have if someone tells you recruit you in this business they say that it's you know fantasized you're gonna make all this money you're gonna be really successful but if you lack the skill of sales or if you lack the skill to Market or if you lack the skill of communication or if you lack the skill of you know being able to service your clients that you will never get the results so it's not only did I get the 56 000 this month off of paying for four to six dollar leads that I've generated but I've also been able to get these results because I've actually grown my skill set both Marketing sales communication and had a really good client experience where referrals also come in so the way that I was able to also get there something that's not talked about is the actually systems that I've built into my business a lot of people won't share with you I'm just doing this I'm just doing this but are they actually and I want to share with you literally everything that I'm doing number one is I'm generating my Facebook leads all for myself high quality High intent they're coming directly with me non-chair leads secondly is I'm running in them into a CRM system so when you're generating your lead how is the lead now getting transferred into your CRM system whatever you use find a serum where you can actually have a place to call place the text place the message place the book calendar appointments place to have all your controlled business because your lack of sales is probably a lack of organization is what I found in the past so make sure you're very organized with the system and then lastly having a clear sales cycle most people turn their leads get leads and don't really actually know how to sell them the sales process what's got me to the place of where I've been is all because I know how to make that dance every lead that comes in I know exactly what to say I know exactly how to respond I know exactly how to work that lead and I've been able to master that one lead source so I know what they're going to say their objections the commonalities I'm going to see and all these people that I'm speaking to so then with all this repetition of making 200 150 calls per day then I know the rebuttals I know the objections I know what's going to be faced at me so I can eventually pin of it and lead them down the right direction and when you have this system of you know leads coming in every day with 150 70 whatever your budget is mine is at 100 a day a constant lead budget if you're having a constant consistent you know way to actually Target and have really good ads and have really good headlines a really good copy in your Facebook ads you know that people are going to click on it so consistent lead flow low cost a really good CRM and most importantly a really good sales process you're going to build momentum in your business and the way that I was able to get to 56 000 without buying a lead from a vendor was not only because I knew how to actually acquire customers on Facebook and I also knew how to build momentum in my business I knew how to build structure I knew how knew how to book appointments every day on my calendar work every day I know I'm gonna make a sale because the person I spoke to today who didn't want to buy I booked an appointment with and the person who clicked on my lead and didn't want to talk to me today booked on my calendar tomorrow and when you build these different systems such as drip tax and certain tax campaigns that you can use where you're always getting new responses people engaging calendar appointments you know um unclosing the deal and closing the deal the next day when you have these different you know variabilities in your business these four to five different aspects when you come on to tomorrow after a long day of working putting the hours in you have a full calendar you have people that you need to follow it with and you have people that you know probably will also reach back out to you because if you serve the stem well three months ago well now they're going to reach out with friend referrals they're gonna reach out if their policy needs chain needs they need another policy this little Snowball Effect will allow you to consistently do forty fifty thousand dollars every month and then something that was not talked to me about that I've been able to develop and use but it comes down to number one I've learned how to master and use Facebook to literally just control my acquisition and build my business secondly um the lifeline of the business is buying leads third CRM sales cycle referrals Snowball Effect all plays in my business which allow me to get there and most importantly I was tired of buying junk leads at vendors that were making all the money when I can generate the same leads with little better quality for four to five to six dollars they're coming directly with me with beneficiary names and a lot more quality so that's my process on how I did 56 000 the last month without buying a lead from a vendor and I wish more people told me this because I probably would have got a lot faster better results but more importantly getting a lot more profitable because I know that gap between how much I paid for a customer and how much you're going to pay me that Gap needs to be as large as possible to build oxygen to build future value in your business and most importantly to allow yourself to actually harvest the fruits of your labor so I hope this video brought you some value and again I do
