we're gonna start building one out um you can clone it like you can clone the template for your store and traditionally um i've taught free plus shipping which we still do still works one thing that i have not really discussed with everyone is this five dollar flash sale funnel and it's been a little back pocket secret that we've had um i've mentioned it here and there but i've never done like a full-blown training on it and honestly it's because the most powerful word in the world is free and free plus shipping just simply works but as i thought about it you know we run these models um side by side and they capture different customers so before we we dive into all that and i get like technical with it and draw out the map and the template jump in our facebook group at facebook.com group slash profit ph we have 19 400 people in there and anybody that's uh you know not in here yet tell them get your butt on the webinar because i'm gonna be building out a five dollar flash sale funnel and you can clone it take it chores like copy it if you copy this funnel and you put any product in it and target the right audience you're gonna see that this thing is powerful and you're gonna be posting in the group thank you because you're going to see how this psychological marketing strategy and funnel can take a product that you're currently trying to sell that gets no bites it's no sales and literally 180 it to a successful product that you could scale to a hundred dollars a day thousand dollars a day uh and beyond right it just you gotta hit the have a good product and you gotta hit the right audience and you have to have the right deals there's three elements to success here right product audience and deal um and that said you know where a lot of people fall off is they're missing one of three or two of three they've got a good product but they're not getting the right audience or they've got the right audience but their product isn't a good enough deal for their audience to purchase and that's why we always have used free plus shipping because it makes it a no-brainer so all right now that you've all gone and done that the end of the webinar we'll choose a hundred dollar winner uh from someone who's gone in the group and uh and done that i really just wanna i wanna dive into the training uh we're gonna draw some things out i'm gonna show you some things but first let's just kind of um recap what we did last week um very very quickly and briefly okay so we went over this this uh this five dollar flash sale funnel and i got this idea really when i started thinking about the everything's a dollar right dollar general and we went over all this last week so i won't go it too much but just as you drive around this week look around your town you're going to see these little trinket stores at least in the u.s i don't know about uk australia you know sweden all these other places uh that i haven't been but in the u.s everywhere i look there's these dollar generals everything's a dollar and i'm like why are these so successful why are these everywhere it's because of the hook and the hook is everything's a dollar there's all this stuff in here that you can get it's one dollar now there's a lot of stuff in there that's more than one dollar but the point is is that these everything is a dollar dollar generals dollar outlets whatever dollar trees they're able to scale right they're able to scale because people love cheap stuff people love good deals and if we just go in here and we look at the dollar tree's website okay so this is the dollar tree i mean they're selling gardening decor easter baskets um coveted supplies uh spring floral home decor um storage and organization right and these are massive massive companies that have spread all over the us and i mean when i say they're all over the us you can't there's one every one to two miles on the highway every couple miles you see another one of these types of stores and of course mattress stores as well but you know we're not selling mattresses uh so as we go in and we look at some of this stuff like let's just say storage an organization all right one of the things that we talked about working as a top product to sell this month was kitchen storage and organization if you recall um i believe it was where is it oh yeah so for food storage containers they're really cheap um people seem to be trending wanting to buy them uh we went all over all of that like two weeks ago if you go back watch those replays um so you know this is something that could work right here uh now as we look at you know the dollar store and we kind of like go in some of these you're gonna see a lot of the stuff is is super cheap one of the keys is they get people to buy stuff um like this could i guess be some food storage here here here you know some of these could be used as food storage some of them look like hamper style baskets and one not and what not but notice that these are only a one star review uh they're about a dollar i think i read that it was a dollar twenty five cents per unit the thing is is people are going to buy multiples of this right they're gonna pay for shipping and handling um they are uh there we go a dollar 25 you buy a bundle of them 36 for 45 bucks so look they're able to sell stuff for a dollar because well they're a big company they have a lot of supplies they can store it and they're keeping inventory and they're taking large risks so we're not necessarily we're not necessarily going in and copying their exact model okay uh we're definitely not doing that but what we're doing is we're looking at understanding that their hook is everything is a dollar and it works really really well and they sell everything just this like a big general store and so we want to kind of copy this method but we're going to be using what's called the five dollar flash sale method it is just as good of a hook as everything's a dollar it's just as powerful it's not as powerful as free plus shipping but we know from looking at these stores here that you know we're going to be able to to probably scale because cheap cheap stuff sells in very high volume right and so we want to kind of use a hybrid of this we want to use a hybrid we're doing drop shipping right everything on our store is not a dollar everything on our store is not going to be five dollars right we're going to have high end retail stuff but what we want to do is we want to cherry pick the strategy and the hook because psychologically and marketing is a lot of psychology here it whenever somebody clicks on our seizure ad if they see that it's five bucks or less or free it's going to get them it's going to entice them it's going to um pick at their curiosity it's going to create momentum it's going to create uh urgency because people like good deals you know these days stuff is expensive it just gets more and more expensive as time goes on all right so this is kind of where this model derived from like the idea derived from many years ago and uh what we're doing here is we're trying to find any product that our cost is five bucks or less does that make sense like we're trying to really ideally cap our product costs at five dollars all right so just take note of that this is very important for the five dollar flash sale method to work the product price needs to be a little bit less than five bucks or five bucks or less for it to really hit and then we're gonna sell it for five dollars so where is the money made that we generate well it's made right here um on the shipping and handling we're gonna price the product at five bucks we're gonna charge 495 and even now uh we're starting to test 6.95 which does in fact work as shipping is a bit more expensive these days so we're going to add to this 6.95 and what this does is it gives us the opportunity to sell the product that's cost us less than five bucks and generate anywhere from 995 to 11.95 all right so if our product cost is less than five bucks then it's making us anywhere from five to seven dollars to eight dollars profit per order that we sell uh case in point come over here sell one of these little uh things for five dollars we could do like even um a packet of two right uh you could do a a you could do a packet of these like two of these for five bucks right um three of these for five dollars it's only a dollar 23 each so your cost would literally be three dollars and sixty cents so three for five bucks see what i'm saying and then you charge people for the shipping and handling so they're getting three of the or one two three whatever for five bucks five dollar flash sale and when they go to pay for shipping and handling that 495 or that 695 that you're charging them that's all gravy for you this is all profit at this point like this is money all right that's your money and this creates mass volume pass volume a lot of customers and a lot of sales and those customers right that respond to the sizzling offer they're dumped then kindly dumped into your sales funnel your five dollar flash sale funnel and just refreshing from last week we're going to turn them into repeat customers they're now on our list they're our customer and we know exactly what this customer needs right they're buying kitchen storage so there's a ton of kitchen supplies and kitchen gadgets that we could sell to them and now they are in our high profit funnel so we can run more ads to them we can send emails to them and the example that we did last week and i won't go all the way through this is um you know for for a back uh posture corrector right five dollar flash sale earns us around 9.95 but then we start selling them the back stretcher the heat of the heated uh brace the massage gun the red light therapy pad the neck massager it just sales just keep coming in the same person buys over and over and over and over again and the way that you acquired this customer is by creating a sizzling offer by means of using the five dollar flash sale does that make sense okay so that leads me to something else it's not just about getting your customer to buy that one product for five dollars we're charging them shipping a shipping and handling fee for every single additional product that they buy that's in that five dollar flash sale so we really want to get people to buy more than one product right just like free plus shipping it's this item is free but you're going to pay a shipping charge and a processing charge for each one that you add to your basket five dollar flash sale same thing each thing that you buy is going to create an additional shipping charge but here is here is the the the difference okay with five dollar flash sales you're not going to get people come in and buy 20 products right so let me just draw this out for you okay so this is the difference and this is why you need both models so free plus shipping is the product is zero dollars plus 9.95 shipping okay so everybody got that yes that's how free plus shipping works now because the product is free all right this creates like a major sizzle uh so i would say it creates major fomo now fomo stands for fear of missing out and when you get a really good offer or a really good deal this leads to large purchases so i would say max purchase volume so people might come in and say yo i'm gonna get 10 of these products okay so i'm going to add 10. of these products to my cart but we're going to be charging them the math on that 10 times 995 i think i know what it is but i just want to be you know certain because i'm really bad at math um i know that the 10 yeah that's what i thought just making sure so i don't look stupid uh but anyways it's going to be 99 and 50 cents that's what the customer is actually going to pay if they get 10 of these items whoops 10 of these items that makes sense so free plus shipping is unique in that it creates major fomo and because it is free let's do this and because it's free people are going to buy a lot of the product but with five dollar flash sales even though you're going to get fomo all right you are going to get fomo um it's not necessarily going to create for you those those wildly large sales where people come in and they buy 10 and they buy 20 because it's free okay so understand that um usually what we're going to see is see where my where i could put this um our goal equals about two to three products per cart all right so our goal is to get two to three products per purchase so two to three products would be a five dollar sale a five dollar sale and a five dollar sale plus right that 495 all the way down okay so this is essentially going to create for us a roughly i'm just rounding up uh 30 dollar sale does that make sense yes because if it's only five bucks we want to try to get people to buy two to three of these items so they spend thirty dollars they spend 30 bucks and we've literally sold them three products that cost us maybe like ten dollars out the door max we've got a 20 profit so our goal here would be to create anywhere from 15 to about you know 20 dollars in profit from this does that make sense because the item that you're selling is only like two bucks so you got like six dollars in product cost here right and the rest is gravy that's what's so cool about this but just understanding the five dollar flash sale method isn't really typically going to bring in people that buy uh five six seven eight nine ten different products so we try to sell products with the five dollar flash sell method that people want to buy more than one of so one of the examples i actually showed this example a long time ago so i i discuss i want to bring it back up though so this is what a five dollar flash sale uh really optimized shopify sales page looks like now you're not going to start out with an optimized sales page like this we recommend that you just test with a basic sales page first but when you find a product that hits really well with a uh oh wait this is a free plus shipping page but when you find a product that hits really well um you you kind of try to customize the sales page a little bit which is easy on shopify to add some additional things to it there's apps that will let you put a timer on the page and so on and so forth and we'll get into these um i can actually next week share these templates with you um if you're using like this page builder that shopify has we'll get to it's that later but you should be able to copy the template over um you can rebuild these in um um you can rebuild these uh you can rebuild these and click funnels and bridge click funnels to shopify you know whatever you want to do but this is essentially what a optimized page looks like that is designed to sell more than one product so this dj pillow set did about 500 000 in sales um if you've been following me for a long time then you've seen this pillow set it's a case study that we we gave away now what i'm doing with this older example here is making a point that was already put together for me is you you if you're buying the dj pillow set you want all three pillows yes right you want all three pillows not one not two but three so this is a brilliant way that my buddy adam uh actually this was adam's idea um he discovered he put together and he said okay the five dollar flash sale works and yes people are going to come in and they're going to buy two maybe three of something in some cases just because it's a good deal but what if we use the five dollar flash sale with a product that kind of forced them to buy two or three because they need the full set so when you buy these dj pillows right here it's five dollars per pillow right so essentially we're getting 15 for the pillows and we're charging them four dollars and 95 cents shipping and processing for each pillow so they'll spend 30 on the pillow set um and it works like it worked like an absolute charm and it continues to work but when we discovered that a product started selling really well using the five dollar flash cell uh funnel and strategy we would design customized pages that really just hyped up the product and we don't always do it this way but i wanted to show you like what how deep we we went with this particular strategy because it worked so well so some of the elements here the title the timer for urgency um a description of the product benefits right um or you know i call them either benefits or trust factors and then if you have images of customers which if you're a noob at this you're not going to but always try to get customer images in as your funnel grows this is also why you can't copy this out of the gate because customers that get cool products from you they will send pictures in of their products they're excited about it and so you can leverage those images right here on your sales pages to get people to see that other people took advantage of this deal maybe other people paid more than this uh they they love their products and then you have you know your cta um at the bottom and this is what really really um optimize and this is on my shopify store right you could do them click funnels you could do a shopify uh whatever you want all right does that make sense just say yes if that makes sense okay now a regular product listing own your shopify store is going to look like this you can probably make it prettier this is the demo store so we always make it look prettier than this but you know it's going to be you know the price is going to be here so you'd have five dollars and then your description down here and all that good stuff any customer reviews so you're going to see there is in fact a large difference between this page versus this page or that's the free plus shipping there's a big difference right i don't want you to look at this and say oh my gosh in order for a product to work i have to have a fully optimized sales page for that product that's not true you get proof of concept first then you optimize and for a lot of you in here that are higher level students of ours um you're you know in platinum and above golden above um you know this is like what the point is is when we find something that works the idea is to then optimize on that where we can start helping you customize pages and all that stuff and of course i talk about here on the profit power hour as well so um that's kind of the goal here is proof of concept with a basic sales page and then double down with something a bit more uh customized when you want to scale it to multiple six figures and there are elements to this page that work on a five dollar flash sale that you can literally copy and the reason i pulled up the free plus shipping uh method is because we did the same thing same product with free plus shipping so you know free just pay shipping and handling and they can buy all three products after that um you know here the three benefits it's just designed a little bit differently which is you know they're handmade track your custom order uh money back guarantee and then the happy customers so both of these are the exact same thing and they serve the same purpose it's just one of them is free plus shipping and one of them is a five dollar flash sale and remember i said last week positioning is key different people respond to different things just like colors right you like certain colors and you're going to buy something if it's green versus yellow like i do you know i respond to certain colors and if it's black and gold i want it if it's green i want it and pricing is is it is similar in a way in that if it's free plus shipping some people are going to think that it's unrealistic and that it's a scam um some people are gonna say oh my god this is free i better take advantage of this asap right there's going to be that divide there and then with the five dollar flash sale you're going to get a ton of people to say dang you can get this stuff for five bucks now i better take advantage of this and then you're going to lose the peep you're going to lose the group of people that only will respond to the word free right so that's why we run the same product as a free plus shipping product a five dollar flash sale product and then a full price retail product so you've got two different types of promotions free plus shipping five dollar flash sale then retail and we sell all of them like people come in and buy all the different promotions it's crazy right so what i wanted to do tonight is i want to draw you a map and the map starts with a really nice looking page uh for i mean ad and page for a five dollar uh flash sale and it then dumps into that funnel that we were talking about here right where we start selling them all of the other products so the one that the one that we're going to build um i think we're going to start with the uh the back like one that we're going to build out i think the posture corrector um and and back stuff is going to do well because this can also be pushed toward not just people with like chronic back pain or scoliosis but to people that are in health and fitness because this time of the year everybody's getting in the health and fitness they're still on the new year new me trend and you know you go in the gym you don't know what the hell you're doing in there because you hadn't worked out in three years and you hurt yourself you hurt your back you got bad form your neck gets cripped up so the posture corrector the heated brace the massage gun all these things they actually serve two groups of people that solve a problem the people with chronic pain that are just miserable all dang day and the people that go hurt themselves in the gym because they don't know what the hell that they're doing and they're doing everything wrong i see them here literally every week i'm like yo dude what are you doing like you're going to i've literally walked over to somebody in the gym and be like you're going to hurt yourself because you're just slinging your shoulders gonna like literally pop out of the socket um it's neither here nor there but i guess my point is is i think this is a really great funnel to start with how many of you in here would agree just say i agree if you agree that this is a good one to start with all right but first i want to lay down um the foundation and and i do want to point out and i think i got my add kicked in that um once we get out of you know the chinese new year delay the pillows with pillow profits work really well with this strategy really well because you can make three pillows create one design and so the best i've ever seen this funnel work where you were getting high order values meaning people are buying three every time is with the pillows even if you did like a um you know couples pillow set like you know there's one here so it's in twos right so you know in me and casey's example we we might have it his and a hers uh pillow that say something funny about me and say something funny about her like you know generic uh probably stereotypical quotes you could find on pinterest that are funny or whatever you could do it like that so it doesn't have to be three but if you can get a design that makes people buy three pillows or more like you could crush it but remember you can't do like the freaking alphabet across you know like 20 plus pillows and expect it to work because when it's five dollars plus shipping handling per item people do kind of cap out at two to three they're like okay you know i'm not going to pay 4.95 shipping 10 times right they'll do that with free plus shipping because free is so powerful it like makes them like you know go crazy um because the offer is so sizzling five dollars though people they're still gonna think a little bit before they purchase but it's enough to get them to stop pull over and step in the store and make a purchase so uh this is a really great funnel here and we last week we we did we discovered a lot of great products um starting with this particular one here that could work well but i do want to sidetrack for one moment and i want to point out to you that if you're looking for us suppliers um shine on is a really great us supplier printful is really great pillow profits is great but right now they have you know expedited i mean they have a little they might have a little bit delayed shipping because of the the new year but um you can always check out the express line products and you know we originally started doing these with pillows but now there are some other options but remember as you're going through these um you've got to find the really really cheap ones so you're not just going to be able to do this with any product so that's the key is finding cheap products so with aliexpress products it works um you know really really well we use the uh linen tote bags uh with this we we used the uh pillows with this um just anything that was really really cheap because it doesn't have to be an epic product if it's only five bucks so there were some products and pillow profits that would work out even if they were a bit on the higher end shine on uh which is a jewelry company is really great because they have a couple of products in here that fit the bill let it load for a second they're trying to push people to their new experience but i like this one um so if you go into shine on some of the things that would can work really well um that are a little bit on the higher end like they're at the tip top are the cross luxury necklace right here it's six bucks so this this would work with the five dollar flash sale strategy if you were charging you know 595 to 695 for shipping okay um it would it would work the the numbers would work out um another thing that is u.s based in here uh that you could test out that would work with this model you've got the uh this the higher end it's eight bucks so you know it's higher end they're eight point five dollars um there were some that were six and a half bucks let me see here oh yeah yeah these uh remembrance necklaces um right here you can it doesn't even necessarily have to be a remembrance necklace but um they're 6.5 bucks so six dollars and 50 cents so they're at the tip top but if you increase your shipping to from 495 to 595 or 695 um you can make those work and they're us-based products so um you know and they can get people into your funnel they get people into your uh you know long-term high profit sales funnel so you know just try to find those products that are at the five dollar max out the door range but understand that if it's six to seven dollars you could still make it work if you raise your shipping and handling cost to uh 595 to 695 which people will still pay but ideally it's you know five bucks 4.95 because shipping is less than the actual product and there's a psychological uh thing there so where we really want to start is by creating ourselves an ad for whatever product it is that we're selling because that's where it's all gonna begin um is the traffic so i like to use canva to create my ads it's really simple so this is canva right here um you can try them for free or you can upgrade and get other templates and this is the demo account so yeah it's not going to be hardly anything in here it's just i use this to teach so i don't save everything uh that i do but uh let's just say like this uh this necklace here that we're doing the five dollar flash sale on a necklace like this some of the elements of this product that we might be selling um are that a on the right hand side they're we want people to see that there are multiple like birth zones they could choose from and b well the product itself right that has something engraved on it notice here that it says flash sale well what we ideally what works and what we we really really want to do is we want to extend this all the way across the bottom all right so we have a and what really works the best is when we make that that banner black and then our text here and you see with this all i'm doing is dragging dropping it's no big deal it doesn't just say flash sale but it says five dollar flash sale so you do like 5 r500 flash sale whichever you think looks best but personally i like it like this all right now um once we have this in place we have this centered you don't just want to leave this text here uh white you really want it to stick out so some of the things that we did to try to make this stick out is five dollars we would leave white and then flash sale we would turn red so five dollars really stuck out people could really see um that the product's only five bucks all right now you then would need to take whatever other products whatever the product images that you're selling and you just need to make it a little bit smaller now if you're not a graphic designer it's okay you don't have to be it's totally fine you can hire someone on fiverr to do this for you but essentially this product here is a perfect example of a good product for a five dollar flash sale uh for the five dollar flash sale strategy uh i'm just showing you an example ad here but what we're trying to do is exemplify in the ad that you have options remember the color of psychology i like stuff as black and gold or uh that's green um if it's a birth stone then you know they're going to be people that you know they're going to react to seeing their color birthstone in the ad so what we what we did here is we showed people that hey look we have all 12 birthstone options here's a product on the left and at the bottom it really sticks out the five dollars sticks out more than anything and it says flash sale now the other color that we split tested on the ad was yellow because yellow um looks nice on a black background so i grab yellow here and now you'll see that really sticks out and ultimately you end up keeping this bar on the bottom and you can just replace the image of pillows of necklaces back products that you're you're trying to sell the posture corrector if you're doing video ads which i highly recommend you tell the person that's creating your video ad for you take this banner put it at the bottom every ad that you run video ads image ads uh rectangular ads whatever they all have the same banner at the bottom five dollar flash sale okay and if you run this out and you put copy in and we'll we'll write ads later but um you know you put copy in that says um something like urgent five limited time five dollar flash sale um get our top selling product for just five dollars today um click here shop now just really short sweet copy um even like the good old-fashioned copy that i've always used is battle tested um horse lovers are going crazy over the our five dollar flash sale you see this has a horse on it um you know athletes are going crazy over this five dollar flash sale crossfit um fanatics are going crazy over this five dollar flash sale uh so and so forth that's the copy that really grabs people's attention and so the copy isn't really um what i think you're going to what what most people are going to struggle with because it's going to be short and it's going to be sweet it's really going to be finding what product gets people to tick right as you're testing and you're looking for different products product selection is going to be key here because five dollar flash sale is all the copy you need like that's going to do that's going to get the their attention um enough for them to desire clicking through the product is where you're going to have to do some testing so i'm trying to give you the model that you can plug products into and you can start testing now the uh the ad as you could see is very very simple to create once you identify a product that sells like you start getting some orders in some of our students have already done that you go look at the facebook group someone posted earlier today um that they got their first couple sales the five dollar flash sell method i mean it just took them from struggling to get a sale to just getting sales right um this this method works but there is the next step to this funnel which i want to be able to build out for you which is um having like an optimized template that when people click through it creates a bit more urgency a bit more hype um for for you for you to to uh you know convert sales over and i would say that this week we're going to build out a back one together like starting out next week we're going to build out a back funnel together i'll build the page um i'll build the ads you know you'll be able to copy it and i'll show you exactly how it would be done okay so we will do that but i also want you to start thinking about what is a product that you can start selling that people are gonna want to buy more than one of i think a posture corrector um we might find that some people buy two because they're gonna want to buy one for uh their partner right their spouse uh they're probably both you know everybody most everybody has bad posture so it's something that's gonna really speak to people in twos if they're you know in a relationship or whatever um or you know uh somebody's parents or grandparents see it and buy it buy one for all of their kids or grandkids like i i just what i want you to do is do diligence because yes i can give you a product that i know works that i know is trending that i know is selling like hotcakes right i can give it to you but you've heard the old saying about teaching someone to fish so they never starve i want to do that for you and i want you to learn how to do it for yourself i don't want you to rely on this funnel that we're going to build together and then wait until i do another one and another one i want you to do your own due diligence as well so um i would love to see you all going through aliexpress through xendrop whatever discovering niches post posting them um in the facebook group like a list of products you found a list of niches that you think would be good and i'm going to look through those and next week we're going to review some of those too like we can review those i'll uh let marie and kathy know that people will be posting uh and corey people might be posting stuff like that because i know that when we post links in the group people the mods delete links because they're afraid it's it's spam and whatnot and we don't really want to spam the group with a zillion different aliexpress links right uh but just taking a screenshot is uh acceptable so you know if you want to take a screenshot of this product here and post it that's fine just don't post the link because our automated spam builders and whatnot will catch that as well so a picture of a product is totally fine but i'd love to see you all do a little bit of research and i want to help shape you into someone that is capable of going in and doing that due diligence finding products finding winners and that's how you're going to scale that's how you're going to scale your business so tonight the goal was uh to give you a funnel that you can clone and the funnel that we are going to clone has already the the map has already been drawn out right um the facebook ad template drawn out the uh product funnel drawn out the sales page optimized sales page not completely drawn out yet but i'm going to draw out a map of this next week i'm going to hand draw a map a template and you can copy it and you can plug any product into it you want to and we'll have that drawn out for you and then we'll build this out and then we'll we'll start looking at facebook ads and then we're going to look at another funnel another product and another and we're just going to keep looking at product funnels that you can test and you can launch and generate sales with and remember that as you're launching these five dollar flash sales you should also be looking at testing them as free plus shipping products as well because sometimes you might find that free plus shipping works better sometimes five dollar flash sell works better sometimes both work and when both work you double the sales double the profits right double the growth and potential so um this week um i didn't exactly i think i got more into explaining the principles reasoning behind why uh than building so next week we're going to get to building but i wanted you to understand and the simple mechanics of what makes this work right products that people want to buy more than one of bundling things together an optimized sales page so you could scale um the difference between free plus shipping and five dollar flash sales and why they both work so well together and why they might be both necessary to run parallel to one another and creating a sizzling offer the goal of selling two to three products in one uh to one customer so you can pump out these 20 and 30 sales so you have
