hi my name is Elvis and I have been a pharmaceutical and medical sales rep for the last 16 years and from day one I've been getting a concert question from everybody that finds out what I do and that is Elvis how do I become a pharmaceutical sales rep how do I become a medical device rep and I have noticed also that the question is so is a company with a lot of frustration and the frustration comes from people that are working in a different industry working in a different type of job and they're trying to come to pharmaceutical or medical sells without success and let me tell you I can totally understand that frustration because I went through that the exact same thing before I became a pharmaceutical sales rep I was working in a major airline in the international security department so as you can imagine there's no correlation whatsoever between what I was doing at the time and what I wanted to do but the good thing is if I did it you can do it too but there's one thing you must know what you're doing because let me tell you finding a job in this industry is not like finally just another job you have to have a different approach if you use the same approach as you have been getting other type of job it's not gonna work I hear it all the time people that apply they apply over and over and you know what it is like if they don't exist nobody calls them back they they are unable to get interviews and so on so you have to be ready to approach this game in a different way you must know what you're doing and that is exactly what I created this website to put you on a fast lane to teach you and guide you to the things that you really need to get this job and to avoid all the headaches all the headaches and frustration that I have to go through so why is it so difficult to get a job in this industry well I think the number one thing is there is a lot of competition this job is really really desirable so why is so desirable well number one you can make a decent amount of money in this job it's not so difficult to make six figures working as a pharmaceutical sales rep and let me tell you if you want to be a medical device rep it is a well-known fact in this industry that a medical device rep can do between two thousand to three hundred thousand dollars a year let me tell you that is more money than what many doctors make the second thing that makes this job attractive is that it gives you a lot of independence most of the time we design our own schedule our routing so we have a lot of flexibility I have to be honest with you if I would have to work enclosed in an office having my boss sitting across my desk watching me all the time what I'm doing what I'm not doing I think I will shoot myself in this job let me tell you sometimes I see my boss once a month if sometimes depending on the company or where they were my boss leave sometimes I see my boss every two months and it's not a secret also that if I'm working and I have to run a quick errand I can just stop do it and keep on doing my job without compromising all my responsibilities so this job really gives you a lot of independence number three this job allows you to have a great quality of life you can make the money here but you can have a living - let me explain this point the truth is that most of the time we work only from Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 5:00 and sometimes not even that and let me explain you how I can have an amazing relationship with the staff with the doctors and all of that if I show up to make a call at 4:30 in the afternoon in most office they don't let me in why is that because the staff they want to finish early the doctor he wants to finish early so they are afraid that if they let me in 4:30 or even later I can delay the whole process sometimes they just tell me hey come back another day so really this is a job that doesn't you know it doesn't have those crazy hours to work I have friends that they are attorneys they are CPAs and they make good morning but their hours are miserable sometimes I call it at 9:00 9:30 in the evening they are still working that's not the case here working in pharmaceutical sales also allows you to save a lot of money so let me explain how that works number one we get a company car so that itself is a lot of saving because the company is giving you the car you don't have to buy a car they pay for their repairs they pay for maintenance they give you a fuel car and when you add up all those expenses you save a lot of money every month that is money that you keep in your pocket and you can use for something else some of other companies don't give you a company card but they give you car allowance so basically yeah you can have your car but the company is also paying for it the second way that you can save money working as a pharmaceutical sales is by getting reimbursed the expenses of cell phone and Internet which if you're working in other type of jobs you know you have to pay yourself in pharmaceutical sales you know the companies usually give us a certain amount for communication and you know that once again that's money in our pockets that another type of job you will have to be paying those services in your house out of pocket as a pharmaceutical strap we also have trouble and entertainment expenses for instance if we would like to make a lunch for our doctors you know we bring the food to the doctor's office so we can have more time with our clients and be able to uncover reasons why they're not using their product and be able to sell more but the thing is sometimes I have like 20 launches in a month and that you know who's paying for those launches I mean the company is basically paying for those launches and once again that is so money that I'm saving for myself if you happen to have a travel territory you're also gonna accumulate points in your credit card if you need to stay in a hotel you're gonna accumulate points in the hotel if you need to fly to BC your clients you know you're gonna Kumal eight miles every month to see your clients I have colleagues of mine that whenever vacation time comes they pay nothing or very little because they have so many points in the airline they have points in the hotel and all of that that they they go on vacation basically for free or almost free and if that is not enough as a pharmaceutical sells you're gonna have a very decent 401k match contribution from your employers a lot of pharmaceutical and medical companies they give you stock options you know that is of great help for your retirement and of course we're in the health industry and we very often have like very decent health insurance coverage so you might be asking yourself why should I learn this from this guy well let me tell you a little bit of why number one not only because I have 16 years of experience in this industry but in my career I have been forced to learn the tactics and techniques necessary to get this job I have been forced to develop those skills to the max and let me tell you why I have been through three major layoffs where I lost my job then two of my companies went bankrupt so in every single scenario I receive coaching from the best of the best in this industry every single time the pharmaceutical companies they hire transition services transition experts that help me and prepare me in every part of the process they help me with my resume they help me with the interview they help me with everything that I needed to do and all those situation prepare me to the max to finally develop those skills in the best possible way and that is exactly what I'm going to teach to you back in 2009 there was a huge recession as you can remember here in the United States in the pharmaceutical industry in the medical industry it took a huge hit there were no jobs available out there and they were excellent excellent reps out there without a job so I was competing with all those reps to find a job and I made it when I went to my initial training I was sitting there and I heard from my peers people that were without a job for two years and it only took me two months thank God to get back in the business why because they had the qualification they had everything but they didn't have the skills because they never need it in my case I was forced over and over to get a job as quick as possible to get the counseling to get all the coaching from those experts so when those tough times I mean I was ready and that is exactly what I'm going to be sharing with you in this training videos so my question to you is are you really serious about finding the job of your dream are you really serious really serious about finding the job that you deserve because all you have to do at this time escape my training videos and I walk you step-by-step and put you in a fast lane to get that job for you as soon as possible
