there's one social media platform a lot of Realtors leave out I mean Facebook and Instagram are like the go-to whenever I speak to new clients those are the two platforms they want to be on sometimes Tick Tock but that's only if they're comfortable with video the one that's left out and I think is one of the actual best platforms for a realtor is LinkedIn in this video I'm gonna cover three reasons why you should be using LinkedIn for your realtor marketing efforts and I've got a teaser a bonus at the end of this video so I want you to stay tuned all the way to the end I've got a special offer for you but before we get to that let's talk about LinkedIn hey if you're new here my name is Lowell Brown I'm from going social I run a digital marketing agency in Toronto and I work with a lot of local businesses and real estate agents and I help them with everything from their social media marketing Facebook and Instagram ads Google search ads and a bunch of other things as well so if you are new here comment below let me know that you are new and you are a real estate agent and again stay tuned right to the end I got a special offer for you about LinkedIn marketing so let's get to LinkedIn why is LinkedIn such a great platform for real estate agents and what are you potentially missing out by not being on there well first most importantly like I mentioned in the intro of this video a lot of people default to Facebook and Instagram those are two really popular platforms and don't get me wrong they are great places to promote your information on what I would suggest though is don't forget about LinkedIn why well first of all there's less competition there LinkedIn isn't as widely used for real estate agents so there are less of your competitors there which means you have a better chance of actually reaching people and speaking of reaching people I would say that within LinkedIn when you make a connection when you're connecting with people messaging with them the the actual connections that you're building and the networking you're doing on LinkedIn it tends to be a lot more solid meaning that the connections are stronger and that goes to relationship building which is all about what you need to do when you're a real estate agent building up those strong relationships so that people will refer you will choose you as their real estate agent and we'll get to know you and want to work with you so LinkedIn is commonly known as the business platform it's where the professionals are so especially if you are looking to get into luxury real estate or work with higher end clients LinkedIn is definitely a good place for you the other thing that's awesome about the platform is when you create a profile there you're sharing a lot of personal information and professional information with LinkedIn as you're building your profile and that can be used to your advantage because if you did choose to do advertising or if you did choose to kind of build a strong relationship with connections it is much easier to find out where they work what position in a company they have and and that can tie into their income level you get a better understanding of who who you're connecting with than you would on Facebook or Instagram where you can't see all of that data another reason why LinkedIn is a great platform for you to be on is because you're not guaranteed to hit everybody on Facebook and Instagram not everybody's on the platform and some people choose to avoid those platforms well if you do choose to be active even if it's less frequently than Facebook and Instagram if you're still active on LinkedIn you have the potential to reach new people on that platform as well and wait did I talk to you about messaging on the platform there's lots of opportunities on LinkedIn where you can direct message people once you build a connection or once you're reaching out to make connections with people and those tend to be a lot more responsive in terms of the the chat conversations you're going to have back and forth than they would be on other platforms like Instagram and Facebook as a realtor I know that LinkedIn may not be the go-to platform but I do have a special offer for you and to accept this offer it's completely free all you have to do is comment below and say yes tell me yes you want access to this LinkedIn special offer
