hello I'm William Burlington here and life cycle Darby one of the charities that foundation dollars are supports I've come to meet John Hughes the manager it's going to tell us all about how people in Derbyshire are benefiting from recycle bikes and how the whole system works from when a bike has been donated all the way through to delivery [Music] don't tell me about the whole process from right from when you receive a bike all the way through so all the bikes that come to us they're all donated we never go out and buy buy and they come to us in a variety of states shapes and forms generally all have two wheels sum up what once we have enough donations in we then send them off to one of the three prisoners that we work with and they will strip the bike down and they will rebuild it back up to a very worthy working condition so what difference has the Foundation grant made for you it's made an enormous difference where we rely on parts and tooling for the bikes so foundation Derbyshire have you know really helped us with that and we're a small charity with little means to finance that so having foundation doctors help is been enormously beneficial they know intimately what the needs are in the different areas of Derby they know the peculiarities of those different areas and those you know particular needs of the people that's brilliant you know the benefits are on so many different levels and it's great to hear about each level where the benefit goes but having an organisation like this in Darby and Derbyshire is fantastic because it's a great cycling county anyway and having you at the centre of that that's wonderful okay right thanks you
