the number one thing that most insurance recruiters are not going to tell you about when they're recruiting you into their organization is that this is hard work they're gonna rap about how great the opportunity is and how much money you can make and how much freedom is available in this business and all that's true but before you get there before you achieve that takes hard work work ethic and discipline on a daily basis to get it done there's three types of sales opportunities in the market today the first one is accounts management you go to a company they give you the customers and you literally manage the accounts it's more customer service than sales the second one is order taking these are your car salesman your gym membership salesman your furniture salesman where the customers literally come to you and all you have to do is take the order the third type are the real salesmen the insurance agents the direct sales people the people that get into the opportunity and they have no customers it's now up to them to go out there and create them okay and if you think one social media post or getting your license and announcing it to your friends and family is enough to build your business you're sorely mistaken everybody has their lid in this industry whether it's a hundred thousand dollars a year or a million dollars a year John Mack John Maxwell talks about the law of the lid in his book the 21 irrefutable laws of leadership and he uses the McDonald's brothers as an example the McDonald's brothers built one great restaurant it took Ray Kroc coming into the organization to build a global Empire across the globe so if you think you have the discipline and the work ethic and you want an opportunity to have life-changing circumstances whether that's making a hundred grand a year and working part time or building a business across the globe come join the team and manage some benefits a benefits management team [Music]
