hello and welcome to genius Solutions walkthrough today we will be presenting an example of the product configurator several manufacturers produce products composed of a standard section with a list of an options from which they select the ones that fit the customer's needs the product configurator is integrated in both the quotes and sales order modules for this example we'll open the quote module let's add a new quote by clicking the add button on the top menu to the left we'll then have to add a new customer in the customer ID section select add once more this time in the quote menu this will allow us to add a new product dbs-on screen we open up available able options for the product we can change the frame for example as well as the hydraulic pump paint hardness and such each time an option is added the option price is added to the final price on the left we then save this product along with the added options and we return to the product screen where we can see the listed options added to the product in the notes after saving this product the quote screen will list it with the final price adding options will create a new quote we can then select preview followed by quote and quote again and opening up the quote report that we can then send to the customer this is the quote report displaying the options added and the final price once accepted by the customer we select the convert to order button on the quote menu in order to confirm it and create a job once again this product configurator can be accessed through the quote module and the sales order module if you would like to know more please visit our website at . genius erp.com or send us a quick email at sales genius erp.com thank you very much and see you in the next walk through
