into it I'm Jay Feldman founder of otter public relations I have built and sold a lead gen company and I now built a lead gen company within my own PR firm that has helped us become the fastest growing and number one PR from the entire country so let's get right into it which email software should you choose for your cold email campaigns and there's a lot of different questions that we're going to run through to help determine which one is the best fit for you and which one is the best in general and I'm going to finally share with you which ones we use and why and we actually use two and I'll tell you the exact reason as we dig in so main thing to know here there are hundreds that I've seen call the email sending softwares on the market they all do relatively the same thing with minor differences some of the biggest differences are the price point so we're going to run through a couple of questions that you should ask yourself for where you see your use case and your cold email campaigns going in the future so that you can choose the right platform to scale your way and fair warning we have changed email sending softwares multiple times it is a pain in the butt so hopefully this video is going to help you avoid that pain and assess which platform is going to be best for you and I encourage you to also watch the reviews that you're going to see of me going through these individual tools and showing specific features and suggestions so that you can pick out which one resonates the best with you all right let's dig right in what are some of the questions that you should be thinking about when you're deciding which email sending software to choose the first question and the one that I should have asked myself back when we were starting our email campaigns starting to build them is how big do we want to scale this thing how many sender accounts do we want to link into the same platform for example clenty is a platform that we used one of the first ones that we ever tried you can only link three sender accounts per account and that was a big bottleneck we had to switch between accounts every time time we wanted to change something so we left clenty not only how many sender accounts how many contacts how many emails do you want to send per day how many team members do you want in this thing you want to pick an email sending platform that's going to scale with you the second question that you should ask yourself is do you have a template that you know that is going to work that you're going to follow or do you like to do a lot of testing if you like to do a lot of testing the platform that we're using right now instantly is not ideal it is new they do not have a b activated and installed they're planning on it but you should probably use one with better analytics so that you can dig into that testing like reply i o or mailshake and with a b and c testing so you can dig in a little bit deeper next question do you need an all-in-one tool do you want that platform to do list verification sending warming if so there are certain tools that can help you with exactly that synovio for example you can do all of that Under One Roof a lot of these platforms no matter what they are will have API integration so that you can clean the list right in there so that makes it really helpful us personally we keep it mostly separate we clean our list with million verifier just because pure quantity we like the platform and then we warm and send with instantly the next question is are you going to use this for omnichannel outreach omnichannel is for example you have a contact that you downloaded from Apollo you've got their LinkedIn account you've got their email you've got their phone number do you want to integrate a sequence where you can send them an email add them on LinkedIn send them a text message and give them a call all within the same platform if so you might want to consider a platform like snowvio which we use next question are you an agency do you want to manage leads for other companies set up their campaigns let them have access to it to log in see their analytics if so you might want to think about a platform like grow up which I do not use but I know a lot of agencies and Lead gen companies that I work with use growbots specifically for this reason if you're not a lead gen company do not recommend do you have team members that you need to add that you want to have limited access or access to create some of their own campaigns for example we use snowvio to give specific access to our sales reps in the Philippines they have their own campaigns their own data we can look and log into their accounts and manage things but they don't have access to the rest of our stuff snowview lets you basically create unlimited team member accounts so that they can log in monitor their own campaigns add leads into their own campaigns without access to the master account finally and probably the biggest question for most of you watching is what is your budget a lot of these Legacy platforms like reply I O and milkshake can cost a fortune especially as you start adding sender accounts most of these platforms are priced by sender account so for example if you want to load up 10 email senders into replyio at sixty dollars ahead you're going to be paying six hundred dollars a month for something that we're paying 99 a month for so it's really important to take these factors into consideration and choose the one that's not only the most cost effective but the easiest one for you to use for your specific purpose however if you just plan on using this with one or two sender accounts it might make sense for you to go with one of those older more established companies but honestly they do the same thing as the rec recommendations that I'm about to give you so here's how we use the email sending platforms and why we chose each one the first one that we use and our primary one for the company our internal Outreach is instantly it is a relatively new platform but very fast growing I'm friends with the founder and they're building every single day the reason that we chose instantly as our primary sending tool is one the integrated Advanced warming we wanted this under the same roof and it's unlimited as our sending and then the sending is really cool so if you're using one of these Legacy softwares and you have 20 sender accounts set up each one is set up with its own campaign then you have 20 campaigns that you have to go through the analytics for make edits two when you want to change something with instantly what's really cool is you can make a single campaign and Link all 20 senders to it you get unified data from that single campaign with all of the senders you can make edits all to that Campaign which accounts for all of the sender accounts and it just makes it for a really clean way to scale your email campaigns so for example we have five email campaigns within instantly each one of those has five to ten email accounts set up on it so each of those email accounts is sending about 50 emails per day so we only have to monitor five campaigns but we're sending 300 to 500 emails per day per campaign just a really clean and efficient way to scale our email as opposed to when we were doing it in clenty and we had 20 sender accounts it was 20 different campaigns with 20 analytics every time we wanted to make a simple change to the subject line or whatnot we would have to do it within 20 different accounts so that's one of the really cool unique things about instantly it also lets you add unlimited sender accounts they do not charge you by Center sender accounts they charge you by contacts so it's a much more cost efficient way for us to scale our email campaigns as well now I told you we also use snowview and the reason that we don't use this as our primary is for that reason that I mentioned earlier instantly lets you load them up and does not charge you by sender account snowview is really cool because yes you can also load unlimited sender accounts very cool but it's the unlimited team members function we can create unlimited sub accounts for our sales development representatives in the Philippines so each of them has their own account with their own sender they can warm it right there in the platform as well also really cool synovio you can also do a lot of a b testing so it's a really powerful platform for that for creating team accounts and it's really really Advanced so you can do Omni Channel you can download their tools for prospecting from LinkedIn and it's very affordable compared to a lot of the Legacy platforms so if you want really Advanced functionality I definitely recommend going with snovio if you want something clean efficient and you want to be locked into a really great grandfather rate going forward because this platform is going to get expensive I recommend instantly again we use both for separate purposes but if you're at a point where you want to do a lot of a b testing synovio if you're at a point where you have messaging that works and you're ready to scale it instantly is a really clean way to do it if you're a lead generation agency I recommend going with growbots and if you just have one or two accounts and you want a simple best-in-class solution mailshake a reply IO are really commonly known really really great platforms but again I would I would steer towards novio or instantly they're much more affordable do the same thing but in some cases
