[Music] hey what's up everyone it's pete with cosell uh today i'm going to talk to you about how to completely automate your prospecting using get prospect zapier linkedin and mixmax this is a way for you to save literally hours per week in your prospecting efforts and getting in front of customers through email and through linkedin the first tool i'm going to talk about is get prospect the package i recommend is the 49 dollar a month package where you get a thousand emails it's the package i use and it um give prospect basically allows for you to look at a linkedin profile and it click the get prospect button and it'll actually surface the email address for you the second tool is zapier it's kind of the glue that kind of makes all the magic happen with all these other tools and you know it's essentially allows you to create like an if this then that statement for different workflows with your prospecting the package i recommend is the 20 a month you get 750 task runs per month the next tool is linkedin if you don't know what linkedin is you're living under a rock but you know the package i recommend is linkedin sales navigator for 80 bucks a month which will give you extended network reach and better search capability and then the last tool is mixmax uh by far my most favorite favorite tool um the package i recommend you could probably go with the smb 29 a month package which allows for you to create uh sequences and cadences uh with your email outreach um if you need like salesforce integration certainly you know 65 a month package can work too it's actually the one i use but if you're just getting started you probably start with the 29 a month package so all in all this kind of the breakdown right of the different costs right associated with these tools so in total the investment that you'd be making in yourself in saving 20 20 hours a week roughly right if you're doing a thousand contacts uh per month uh you know total cost can be 180 bucks and if you break that down hourly it's like you know you're paying basically nine dollars an hour to save uh to save 20 hours right and um you know makes perfect sense and you kind of just gotta weigh how much your time is worth um and and then also you know if you're if you're reaching out to a thousand prospects uh a month right um you know you can kind of do the the back of the napkin math on like how many deals you expect to close um but you know if you close two deals a month i'm not sure what your average deal size is this will pay off you know 10 fold so let's actually dive into a demo of how to set this up all right let's jump into the demo so um basically the the end state of this right is that you are going to be looking at a linkedin profile and if you just click get email you don't even need to keep this box open but you click get email and then what will happen is that a get prospect is going to go find the email it's going to populate it into a google spreadsheet and then the google spreadsheet is going to tie in with zapier zapier is going to pull it through a web hook into mixmax and then that prospect's going to get added to a sequence so literally all you are gonna have to end up doing is just you're gonna have to click a button when you look at a linkedin profile and then that prospect will then get added to a mix max sequence so it's pretty much magic and it's it's freaking awesome but yeah essentially how you get there right is you know you have have linkedin all set up you've set up your breast uh get prospect account uh you've downloaded the the chrome extension here um and then with with get prospect you know any new email address right that gets uh added will end up here and you know these email addresses are going to be verified i've i've roughly noticed that it's about you know 70 80 percent that end up being verified if they're not verified you can obviously go go through uh you know another another tool to verify emails in a different way but you know essentially you know let's just say 70 80 percent are going to be verified emails so hi so you have get prospects set up you've downloaded the chrome extension then you want to go into zapier and again this is kind of the glue to bring all these tools together and then click on make zap do a search for get prospect and and then just a google sheet right because what you're going to be doing is you're going to be pulling these email addresses and all the linkedin data on these prospects and to then a google sheet so um you know you'll you'll be asked to authenticate into guess get prospect and and you want to choose verified email found for lead so you could just say you know email everyone every email whether uh or add every email to mixedmax whether it be um verified or not but um you know i choose to do verified and then you know you tie in your account and then from there you would then add these emails to a google spreadsheet so it's again it's going to ask you to authenticate with uh with google and then if we go to go to the next step so you've created that zap right you've um you know you have have it cooking and then from there what you're needing to do is then take the email addresses that you've pulled from get prospect put in a spreadsheet and then push that to a web hook that's then going to connect to mixmax so how you do that is again you would authenticate with with uh your google sheet you know you'd find that google sheet that you've created you can call it you know uh new prospects or whatever you'd like and then from here you would choose web hook so that is kind of one of the um the ties with zapier so you'd create the web hook you would um you know some things to kind of uh track here or you know that are important are um you know the app web hooks by zapier choose event type which is post and then um from here you would customize the request so really you're going to need to map the fields right so it'll it'll ask you you know the last name you tie that with the the last name in the google sheet and um you know wrap array a wrap request an array click no unflatten yes send data and then you know you test it and and then you're off to the races right so once you have that webhook url this thing right here you're going to take this url and then you're going to go into mixmax that's where i am now click on rules and then when you click new rule it will you'll have to take that url populate it right in here filters you you know you can create filters right whether it be you know uh the the person's industry right because you're pulling that in through uh off their linkedin profile and to get prospect so let's just say you had you created a sequence for you know the the um it industry right and that was a specific uh sequence you could add a condition and then that could then get put into a specific sequence um but you know here we'll just kind of make it simple so you would then choose the sequence right that you've created so uh and then click activate and close and i'm kind of skipping a step here right because you know you would want to create the sequence before you would set up this rule but you know sequences are are really straightforward in in mixed max so under which is called yeah let's go to the cro prospecting sequence so let's just say you're prospecting for cros you know you'd have these these sequences right and i you know this is a sequence that was shared with me with a different account so it's saying read only but you know you can have a sequence that you send the automatic emails and saying hey you know i'd love to uh to connect with you and then you know three days later if they don't reply you send them another email three another three days later you might you know send another email um and so really you know kind of just to zoom out you are looking at the linkedin profile you're clicking that get prospect button that's then getting pushed over uh to get to get prospect this tool um and then with zapier we're then we're then taking that putting that into a spreadsheet and then we're using a web hook from the spreadsheet to then get pushed into mixmax and get added to a sequence so literally you're automating your entire entire uh prospecting flow and um hopefully you're finding this value uh if you uh would like a kind of a full overview and a document of how to set this up just comment in the uh on the youtube comment section and also please like this photo or this video thanks and have a great day
