so if you run a business online an agency or anything like that you would have heard about unbounded marketing and the crazy Sh is dance going on with their twenty thousand dollars per day using Facebook Ads LinkedIn ads build your own traffic and rent space to yourself and you see things like that and as someone who runs a business you're like this sounds too good to be true so we decided to put it to the test last week we spent 24 hours frame together some slicks weekend bad marketing totally for a business and this is how it went down Mandy what are we doing there's nothing you jump in together like yes now as you all know Mac and I are content creators and we know diddly-squat when it comes to inbound marketing so we've got ourselves a professional intro Steven mail so I've spent the last seven years growing and building an award-winning marketing agency so I guess you could say so he knows his stuff when it comes down to the nitty-gritty of them bear marketing and what the heck everything means and how to do it after talking things over Steven we decided on three things number one we would dip our toes in Adwords and just try a few ads number two Steven would make a few changes to her website to make it a bit more convertible and number three we would set up a very simple marketing funnel now for those of you don't know a marketing funnel describes the customer's journey with you from the initial stages when someone learns about business to the purchasing stage it's often displayed in a funnel shaped like this the ideas that it just funnels and says in a perfect world now you do off my groove I'm sorry but you've thrown off the interest groove so in our case we're setting up a funnel the day before we shot this very quick 30 second advert for facebook simply put video content is kicking in far outperforms both text and photos but for some reason companies do not use it as much as they should and we get it making great videos is hard and the question that stunts most people from making great videos is how the heck do you create a great video well quite simply it comes down to creating a solid outline and that's why we've made it short video masterclass to help you create the perfect outline for any explainer video in four easy steps just click the link to access it for free so a pro days worth of steven Matthew and I working full-tilt our sales funnel looks like this our ad would appear on Facebook for looking like serve once a client click that ad that would lead them to our landing page with our free offer that gives them actual value our masterclass and in exchange for that masterclass they would give us their name and their contact information then after a few days of them signing up Matthew and I've reach out to them via phone just to see how they're getting on with the masterclass and if they need any help the idea is to build their relationship with our clients they can actually hire Jake young men to actually record the video higher ups and so now all that we had to do was wait yeah so the next step is waiting to see if this works of the offer that we're offering is so we left Stephens office on a high well yeah there's the best thing ever but when we got home nothing really happened today I'm gonna help one day video pretty much build and create a funnel and hopefully get it first leave today as well now maybe we're a bit naive warning results straight away however 10 o'clock at night things began to get freaky Wow 10 signups hello 10/10 signups yeah hi Matthew tell me tell me what at the extra numbers so the actual numbers ah so from two weeks of running this Facebook campaign we've had 77 people sign up for our outline video masterclass and from that so far we haven't called everyone we probably called about half of them and we have nine qualified leads from it AdWords obviously there wasn't such a big deal on the day but we've been getting lots of emails actually which is pretty crazy and we've actually got two jobs from that and we've got apparently four more quite like Lee's qualified people so what does the spin be fest by Matt you've on AdWords so far we've been to that 1500s and with Facebook is actually dramatically lower it's at 775 at the moment so things that are going pretty well so we've already covered our basis by far what the amount of videos that's brought in and there's a potential for at least another potentially another 12 videos that out of what we've already got so after the experiment what is my verdict on well in short it's honestly great I'm impressed and it can be really really effective if you know what you're doing so if you wanted to try this for your own startup business or agency then I would highly recommend you hire someone who really knows his shares when it comes to inbound marketing if you want to reach out to Stephan himself who I'd highly recommend he gave us great results I have included his LinkedIn profile in the description below and you can reach out on there thank you so much for watching leave a comment in the description below and tell us your stories with inbound marketing did you like it did you hate it have you found it effective or not at all has it just been expensive also give this video a thumbs up and consider subscribing as we are making videos about our startup journey and it is bumpy road but also interesting so without further ado Jacob and
